Get PDFMany churches and Christians are still unfamiliar with the practice of discipleship, and even if they are familiar with the term discipleship, there are still many who are reluctant or less serious in making discipleship the core of church ministry. It is for this purpose that this research was conducted. The method used is a literature study from discipleship and church experts which is analyzed to get the root of the problem and concepts that should be according to the Bible so that applications can be drawn for today, especially for Christian education patterns in church discipleship or churches that make disciples. The result of this research is the discovery of several applications that are very important for the perspective of Christian religious education related to the church and discipleship that must be continuously worked on, namely: First, Discipleship is the responsibility of all Christians. Second, Discipleship of the church has a strong impact on the spiritual growth of believers. Third, sending students to make disciples is an effective pattern of Christian education. In forming a positive self-concept of young people, external factors are very influential. Of the many studies that have been conducted, many have found that a positive self-concept is influenced by the TikTok social media application for TikTokers. Based on these facts, it is necessary to conduct research on the causes of positive self-concept for today's youth, especially Christian youth. Through descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach and field surveys, it can describe the causes of positive self-concept TikTokers ITBK Bukit Pengharapan Tawangmangu to be implemented for today's Christian youth. From this research, it was found that the positive self-concept of TikTokers ITBK Bukit Pengharapan is not affected by TikTok social media, but because TikTokers ITBK Bukit Pengharapan Tawangmangu are young people who have accepted Christ and live life to be like Christ.This article aims to look at the self-concept that is formed in Christian youth today with the lively development of TikTok social media. Pemikiran Filsafat John Calvin dan Relevansinya
No full textThis paper departs from the problems encountered in the context of human suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic regarding the ideal social human figure that is relevant at this time. This paper intends to explain the philosophical thoughts of a church reformer, John Calvin. The research method used in this paper is descriptive-interpretative in order to construct the thoughts of a character by looking at the relationships in the context of his life. The main question is how did Calvin's philosophical ideas emerge and are contextualized today? The method of discussion is first to explain Calvin and the context of his life, secondly Calvin's philosophy about humans, thirdly Calvin's philosophy and its actualization in church and state (public education), fourth, Calvin's philosophy and its actualization in the context of the covid-19 pandemic and lastly some conclusions. The result of this research is that Calvin builds his philosophical thinking from the philosophical thoughts of the Stoics and Augustines. His philosophy of man carries the idea of liberation for a life that is free from oppression and works only for the glory of God. This philosophy about humans was then passed down in thoughts related to church and state, as well as social human construction during this pandemic.Tulisan ini bermaksud menjelaskan pemikiran filsafat seorang reformator gereja, John Calvin. Metode yang dipakai dalam tulisan ini adalah deskriptif-interpretatif dalam rangka mengonstruksi pemikiran seorang tokoh dengan melihat relasi-relasi di dalam konteks hidupnya. Pertanyaan utama adalah bagaimana gagasan filsafat Calvin muncul dan dikontekstualisasi di hari ini? Metode pembahasan adalah pertama menjelaskan Calvin dan konteks hidupnya, kedua filsafat Calvin tentang manusia, ketiga filsafat Calvin dan aktualisasinya dalam gereja dan negara (pendidikan masyarakat), keempat filsafat Calvin dan aktualisasinya dalam konteks pandemi covid-19 dan terakhir beberapa kesimpulan. Hasilnya bahwa Calvin membangun pemikiran filsafatnya dari sumber pemikiran filsafat Stoa dan Augustinus. Filsafatnya tentang manusia mengusung gagasan pembebasan bagi hidup yang merdeka dari penindasan dan bekerja hanya untuk kemuliaan Tuhan.
