Get PDFThere are many problems in ministry because God's servants do not have principles or standards of service that become a reference so that it has an impact on conflicts of interest so that God's church does not experience growth. Calling and equipping ministers to build up the body of Christ which must be built up to the certain standards and qualities desired by God. By using descriptive qualitative analysis in Ephesians 4: 11-16, it can be explained how the minister is called, equipped to produce unity of faith in the Son of God, produce full maturity and produce a growth rate according to the fullness of Christ. Every believer is required to experience progress and growth in his life both physically and spiritually. This growth has a definite and clear direction that is sourced and focused on Christ Himself. The expected result from understanding the principles of service according to Ephesians 4: 11-16 is the growth of service, both in quantity and quality. That is having the confidence of salvation, a healthy prayer life, perseverance in reading the Word of God, faithfulness in fellowship and the habit of witnessing

Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to determine the level of implementation of the teaching of the Apostle Paul about the Advice to Live Together and Humble Yourself Like Christ Based on Philippians 2: 1-30 Among Pastors of the GPdI Council in Central Java. At the same time, the dominant dimensions and backgrounds determine the implementation of the Apostle Paul's Teaching among the Pastors of the GPdI Council in Central Java. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative method using a questionnaire and literature review. The literature contains the exegesis of Bible verses from Philippians 2: 1 - 30 which are contained in the dimension of advice to live together which is described in 9 supporting indicators and the dimension of advice to humble oneself like Christ which is explained in 8 supporting indicators. The results of this study indicate that: 1. The level of implementation of the Apostle Paul's Teaching on the Advice to Live One and Humble Yourself Like Christ Based on Philippians 2: 1-30 Among the Pastors of the GPdI Council in Central Java is in the high category; 2. The dominant dimension is to humble oneself like Christ (D2) and the dominant background is the number of congregations

Through a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, the author describes the theological review of the shepherding principle being the main goal of exegesis in Jeremiah 23: 1-4. So that the pastor's role can be maximized by understanding and actualizing the principles of shepherding. The principle of shepherding in Jeremiah 23: 1-4 found that shepherding is the ministry of finding the lost and scattered congregations, gathering the scattered congregations and bringing them back to worship and giving courage not to be afraid to face the problems at hand. Get PDFSermon plays an important role in Christian worship because it is the proclamation of God's word to the people. There are several models of preaching that can be applied by the preacher, one of which is the topical preaching model. Unfortunately, there are preachers who do not understand the essence of topical preaching by using Bible verses as a cover for other topics the preacher wants to address. This study is descriptive-evaluative about the topical preaching model and how it is implemented for Christian preachers so that readers are able to reconstruct the meaning of the topical sermons that have been carried out so far. This study finds that topical preaching is preaching that has advantages and disadvantages. This sermon model is in demand by many preachers because it is easier to prepare and effective in delivery. However, the preacher needs to be aware of the abuse of the topical method of inserting ideas into the biblical text (eisegesis). In fact, all preaching methods including topical must be exposition with the correct hermeneutic method

Get PDFThis article is the result of a dissertation research which begins with an explanation of the Apostle Paul's Advice on Full Maturity based on the Book of Ephesians 4: 1 - 32 considering that Christian elementary school Christian education teachers in the city of Surakarta are indeed required to have full maturity because based on an initial survey questionnaire distributed to 25 elementary school Christian religious education teachers randomly in 5 sub-districts in Surakarta gave an indication that there are still elementary school Christian Religious Education teachers in Surakarta who have not been able to be role models for their students in showing the maturity of a teacher. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative method using a questionnaire and literature review. The results showed the level of implementation of the Apostle Paul's Advice on Full Maturity based on the Book of Ephesians 4: 1 - 32 in the medium category, the dominant dimension was growing in all things towards Christ (D3), and the dominant background was the length of time he was a teacher (L4)

The current era of disruption which is marked by the birth of various innovations and new technologies cannot be avoided by all people, organizations and churches. The era of disruption will affect the Christian faith, so that the attitudes, policies and culture adopted by believers who are Christian to the influence caused by this era of disruption will greatly determine the continuity of their Christian faith, whether it will continue to grow or will die completely. With a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, the author proposes a conceptual frame of the role of the challenge of Christian faith in the era of disruption. The main source of analysis includes research results contained in journals and books, which are analyzed by looking at the relationship and compatibility with the title of the writing. The results of this study on the era of disruption and dimensions of Christian faith are then used to formulate the concept of resilience of the Christian faith in the era of disruption. There are eight main attitudes that must be developed in order to maintain Christian faith in this era of disruption

Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the writer wants to describe the purpose of the role of educational psychology in Christian education. Where Christian education is to equip students in science, character and attitudes according to the Bible, but Christian education in schools also aims to bring students to become disciples of the Lord Jesus, where students are brought to meet personally with the Lord Jesus who is the only one.
