This study explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on educational institutions and their employees, focusing on School Financial Sustainability during the pandemic era. It investigates the influence of demographic variables, including educational background and geographic location, on employee attitudes towards financial sustainability strategies implemented by schools. A sample of 100 participants from Haryana, India, was surveyed and interviewed. The research employs frequency analysis and chi-square analysis to derive insights from the quantitative data, while demographic attributes are collected through structured questionnaires. Qualitative information is gathered from sources such as online articles, journals, books, and focus group discussions. The findings reveal that the pandemic strained school finances, affecting enrollment, technology expenses, and government funding. Employee experiences, influenced by demographic variables, played a crucial role in shaping their responses to financial strategies. DECENTRALIZATION AND WELFARE: EVALUATING THE ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE POST-TERRITORIAL DIVISION IN BOVEN DIGOEL REGENCY, PAPUA PROVINCE, INDONESIA
This study assesses the economic performance of Boven Digoel following its territorial expansion and the application of local autonomy policies. The methodological approach involves the analysis of secondary data from diverse sources, including governmental reports, regional economic figures, and pertinent scholarly works. Key indicators such as economic growth and poverty levels are scrutinized. Findings indicate that from 2017 to 2022, Boven Digoel Regency has an average Economic Capacity Index of 1.47. This can be attributed to the prevalent influence of the agricultural sector and the lagging development of other sectors closely tied to community endeavors, like trade. Post-expansion, Boven Digoel has exhibited minimal economic growth in contrast to its progenitor region, contributing insignificantly to the overall GDP. This suggests that regional divisions within Indonesia do not guarantee the emergence of new regions at par with their predecessors. From 2012 to 2022, the average poverty rate in Boven Digoel was 20.45%, lower than in comparison areas but still higher than in the originating region. Notably, poverty rates in Boven Digoel Regency have shown a decline
COMMUNITY EXTENSION PROFILING OF THE STUDENT-VOLUNTEERS IN THE COLLEGE OF NURSING
Participation in community extension-related activities is self-rewarding once the spirit of volunteerism is applied through rendering service. The community extension program and outreach activities serve as the link between the community and the University. For this reason, along with instruction and research, higher education's focus is significant on extension services. To address this, the University of Cebu-Lapu Lapu and Mandaue Campus established a community extension office where students, faculty, and administrative staff could share resources and expertise and participate in the social participation program. This office served as the institutional home for all the different colleges regarding community extension operations. To prepare the nursing students to become active participants in society's welfare and advancement in harmony with man's values, rights, and dignity, the department surveyed to determine the students' interest in community involvement. A total of one hundred fifty-three students responded in this study from different year levels that are currently enrolled for the first semester of the school year 2022-2023
A STUDY OF INDIAN WOMEN’S EXPERIENCES OF CROSS- CULTURAL DIASPORA
The present paper focuses on woman’s experience of Indian Diaspora. When we talk about Diaspora and diasporic literary writing, we at once recall what has come to be established as a canon in this area. Writers like Raja Rao, Salman Rushdie, Ashish Gupta, Rohinton Mistry, Kamala Markandaya, Bharti Mukherjee, Suniti Namjoshee, Uma Parmeswaran, Chitra Banerjee Divakurni, and a host of other writers come to our mind. Unique writer like Salman Rushdie, for instance, is almost considered a paradigmatic figure for an understanding of diasporic experience. Home as a symbol of metaphor dominates all the diasporic imagination and hence has been theorized upon sufficiently. It is more directly and complicatedly involved in the emotional need to retain the security of a family but resist the reenactment of the dominant patterns of patriarchal subjugation. Home therefore directly linked to issues of marriage, motherhood, child- rearing and parenting, all of which acquire specific nuances when sited in diasporic locations. The immigrant women’s struggle to negotiate a new territory, culture, and milieu are often wrought with pain, fragmentation and psychic alienation. Writers of Indian Diaspora have been fairly center stage in the last decade primarily because of the theoretical formulations which are now being generated by the critiquing of their work and the growing interest in their studies. Language and culture are transformed as they come into contact with other languages and cultures. Diasporic writings raise questions regarding the definitions of ‘Home’ and ‘Nation’. Nostalgia is often the preoccupation of these writers as they seek to locate themselves in new cultures. The present paper focuses on all these points in deep
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY AMONG STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CEBU LAPU-LAPU AND MANDAUE COLLEGE OF NURSING (UCLM-CN) FOR THE S.Y. 2022-2023
Student satisfaction has long been regarded as a crucial barometer of the standard of management institutions offer in every university. Students are in the best position to determine the kinds of services that an institution will offer because they are the primary recipients of educational services. The study aims to ascertain the degree of customer satisfaction among nursing students concerning the various services offered at the UCLM. The study utilized the non-experimental descriptive-correlation research design. It formulated an aggregate of 250 student respondents on a snowball sampling technique in information gathering from the different year levels in the College of Nursing. The findings revealed that nursing students are delighted with the university's safety and security, its classrooms' standards, and its comfort rooms' use. However, the students felt less satisfied with the opportunities for extracurricular activities, the chance to work on a faculty member's research project, and the campus's free Wi-Fi availability. The study concludes that despite the level of satisfaction perceived by the students, there are still areas for improvement in the delivery of academic experience and usage of various student services. The satisfaction indexed among the students also depicts how well they will perform in their learning experiences in college. The study also concludes that the university's further empowerment among faculty members, besides the facilities being offered, can boost students' academic teaching and learning satisfaction

This article explains the use of electricity for economic performance in India among other states. In March 2020, the Indian government issued the first lockdown to deal with the rising cases of COVID-19, and energy consumption in India dropped drastically. However, as the lockdown was eased, energy consumption in India and other states began to recover. In this study, we examine the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Indian energy consumption during the COVID-19 crisis, examining whether changes to the lockdown had a positive impact on energy resources and electricity consumption and whether prosperous regions have recovered their energy consumption quickly enough. Using Autoregressive Distributed Regression (ARDL) model, the study shows that there is a long-run relationship between corona cases and energy consumption and that COVID-19 cases have a positive impact on Indian energy consumption. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown between March 2019 and 2020, electricity consumption declined by 9% per cent across the country, while it fell by 14% per cent in Tamil Nadu. that the decline in electricity usage for the entire lockdown period after May 3 may exceed 11,000 million units of electricity consumption. Tamil Nadu's average power consumption was 10,000 million units per month before the lockdown was announced across states and districts in Tamil Nadu. According to the data released by the Central Electricity Authority, the country's total electricity consumption was 1,08,355 million units in March 2019, but it came down to 98,404 million units in March this year
