Library Promotion Strategy in the Digital Era: Study at Malang City Public Library
Get PDFBackground: The library is an institution that has an essential role in society. The efforts made by the library to carry out this role ensure that the public knows about the library's existence. The public can only use the library if they know its role. Thus, so that libraries can continue to carry out their role, libraries need to develop library promotion strategies. Promotion as a marketing activity carried out by libraries is essential so that the public knows about the products that the library can use. Society also uses digital technology to meet information needs in the digital era. However, society's tendency to use digital technology does not reduce the role of libraries as information institutions to meet society's information needs. The development of digital technology can be utilized to increase the existence of libraries through library promotion strategies.
Purpose: This article reviews various promotional strategies libraries can implement using digital technology.
Design and methods: The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through document study and library observation via websites.
Results: Promotional strategies that libraries can carry out are publications, advertising, sales promotions, personal sales, and digital marketing. Obstacles encountered in carrying out promotional activities are a consideration for libraries in determining promotional strategies that are appropriate to the conditions of the library

Rukun Warga (RW) 13 Cipinang Melayu, Jakarta Timur telah memiliki website sebagai bagian hasil luaran dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM). Website RW 13 telah digunakan untuk memberikan informasi dan layanan kepada warga dilingkungan RW13. Kegiatan ini adalah keberlanjutan dari program pengabdian masyarakat, terkait pengembangan dan pengelolaan website RW13. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan terhadap pengurus RW13 dalam mempromosikan website RW13. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan melakukan ulasan terhadap website, paparan dan diskusi tanya-jawab. Adapun paparan yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan ini adalah; pengetahuan dasar dan strategi pemasaran untuk mempromosikan website adalah materi-materi pembahasan pada pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dari pengurus RW 013 Cipinang Melayu terkait strategi promosi dan pengembangan konten promosi website RW13
Revolusi Digital Umkm bagi Kalangan Wirausaha Muda Komunitas Bisnis Centre
Get PDFUsaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia, dengan kontribusi signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) nasional dan penciptaan lapangan kerja. Namun, keterbatasan literasi digital dan akses teknologi menjadi kendala utama dalam menghadapi transformasi bisnis di era digital. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan manajerial wirausaha muda yang tergabung dalam Bisnis Centre Universitas Mahkota Tricom Unggul, dengan fokus membantu UMKM agribisnis di Sumatera Utara. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui survei awal untuk memahami kebutuhan dan tantangan pelaku usaha, diikuti dengan pelatihan teknis, sosialisasi strategi digital, serta pendampingan dalam adopsi teknologi seperti e-commerce, pemasaran digital, dan analitik data. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan penggunaan media digital, seminar tatap muka, dan kolaborasi dengan pemerintah, perusahaan teknologi, serta komunitas bisnis. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas kegiatan dan memberikan rekomendasi strategi berkelanjutan. Hasilnya, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi digital dan kapasitas manajerial peserta, memungkinkan mereka menjembatani kesenjangan antara metode bisnis tradisional dan kebutuhan pasar modern. Namun, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi di daerah terpencil dan ketergantungan pada platform pihak ketiga menjadi tantangan yang perlu ditangani. The Role of the School Library in Supporting the Teaching and Learning Process and Student Literacy at SDN Sawojajar 1
Get PDFBackground: A school library is a library established by each school where the library has an important role in the student teaching and learning process.
Purpose: This research aims to determine what efforts the Library at SDN Sawojajar 1 made to support the teaching and learning process and student literacy.
Design and methods: This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation.
Results: The results of the research show that the efforts made by the SDN Sawojajar 1 Library, which plays a role in supporting the teaching and learning process and literacy, are by providing various kinds of collections, implementing the Steel Corner program, implementing the literacy movement (GLS) program, and making library visits mandatory. The policy of providing a collection of textbooks, applicable books, and references helps meet students' needs in understanding the school curriculum. It stimulates interest in reading outside the context of formal learning. The Reading Corner Program provides opportunities for students to read books according to their interests. In contrast, the Literacy Movement (GLS) provides a holistic approach by integrating audio-visual media to improve student literacy. With the various efforts made by the library, it is hoped that it can become a dynamic and effective learning center in supporting the teaching and learning process and increasing student literacy at SDN Sawojajar 1

The Importance of Entrepreneurship Education from an Early Age

Purpose: This research aims to provide an understanding and overview of the importance of delivering entrepreneurship education from an early age, as well as recommendations for methods that are worth trying and using in early childhood education.
Design and methods: Qualitative research is used. The data collection technique that researchers use is the literature review method to examine the topics raised.
Results: The importance of improving the quality of entrepreneurship among the younger generation as one of the efforts to advance the economy and create jobs. This can be done through various means, such as the provision of training, curriculum development, and increased accessibility to resources and information on entrepreneurship. Multi-Language Translated Drama Scripts as Reference Information for Actors
Get PDFBackground: Drama texts translated into various languages are a form of communication across linguistic boundaries and a window that reveals the richness of diverse cultures. For actors, engaging in the performance of a multilingual script provides an incredible opportunity to explore the nuanced complexities of different cultures. Actors learn new words and soak up the soul of a culture that may be very different.
Purpose: The main aim of this research is to (1) find out the extent to which language variations are used in translated drama scripts and (2) the extent to which language variations influence the way actors understand and portray characters.
Design and methods: This research uses a content analysis method on intralingually translated drama texts sourced from the Matara Production archives.
Results: The results of this research reveal (1) that three languages are used (English, Indonesian and Sundanese) and (2) that multiple languages are used to show narrative diversity, subtlety of relationships in roles and cultural context. The importance of using regional languages in specific cultural contexts becomes clear, as in the depiction of the local ghost, Kuntilanak, which adds another layer of cultural richness. It can be concluded; this research highlights the significance of the use of multiple languages in the expression and communication of actors. Multilingualism allows actors to convey characters with greater depth, creating an immediate bond with multilingual audiences. Language is not only a means of communication but also a key holder of cultural identity, bringing to life cultural aspects that are difficult to explain in words

Purpose: This study describes how the performance and quality of librarians on circulation services at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Jambi Province. What are the librarian's obstacles in improving the performance of the circulation service, What are the librarian's efforts to improve the performance of the circulation service. This study also describes a general picture of how things are at the Jambi Provincial Library and Archives Service, especially in circulation services.
Design and methods: The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Determination of subjects in this study by means of purposive sampling, data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis methods are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this study were concluded after triangulating the data.
Results: The results obtained from this study were concluded after triangulating the data. The results in this study indicate that the performance of librarians in Circulation Services at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Jambi Province is quite good, although not yet fully optimal. This can be seen from the Employee Work Targets and performance indicators which include work quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, and independence. Obstacles of librarians in improving the performance of circulation services, namely: Lack of human resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The librarian's efforts in improving the performance of circulation services, namely: Adding management human resources, adding and improving facilities and infrastructure. Design and methods: This article uses a qualitative descriptive methodology, utilizing library reference materials as the primary means of data collection and analysis. According to Sugiyono (2018), qualitative research methods are research methods based on philosophy, which are used to research scientific conditions (experiments) where the researcher is the instrument, data collection techniques, and qualitative analysis emphasize meaning.
Results: The role of libraries is in line with the government's program for national education, as stated in Law No. 2 of 2003, which states that education is a conscious and planned effort to realize the teaching and learning process so that students actively develop their potential. Optimizing university libraries in the city of Palangkaraya by utilizing information technology can be used as a means of supporting independent campuses to utilize library resources. Pemanfaatan Teknologi dan Keuangan pada Karyawan UD. FF Tirta Jakarta Timur
Get PDFPengabdian masyarakat di UD FF Tirta Jakarta Timur menyoroti dampak adopsi teknologi dalam manajemen keuangan karyawan, menyebabkan pertumbuhan cepat usaha distribusi air minum dalam kemasan ini. Meskipun aplikasi keuangan mempercepat tugas keuangan, mayoritas karyawan dari pedesaan mengalami kesulitan memahami teknologi dan keuangan, memengaruhi efektivitas aplikasi tersebut. Tim PKM memberikan abdimas dengan pendekatan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan bantuan teknis, menanggapi kesenjangan pengetahuan ini. Namun, pengabdian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa UD. FF Tirta masih memerlukan upaya lebih lanjut dalam memanfaatkan teknologi keuangan. Fokusnya adalah melalui penyuluhan, pendekatan personal kepada karyawan, dan perbaikan sistem administrasi keuangan. Kesimpulannya, adopsi teknologi membawa manfaat namun juga menyoroti kesenjangan pengetahuan. Melalui abdimas yang berfokus pada pelatihan dan bantuan teknis, diharapkan karyawan dapat lebih siap menghadapi perubahan teknologi keuangan serta memanfaatkannya secara efektif dalam aktivitas sehari-hari.
