Pengenalan Aplikasi Canva sebagai Media Ajar di RA Al Itroh At Thohiroh Jakarta Selatan
Teknologi informasi memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan usia dini. Penyusunan media ajar yang efektif menjadi salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan proses pengajaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan tenaga pendidik tentang aplikasi Canva sebagai media ajar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktik langsung. Materi sosialisasi mencakup pengenalan dasar aplikasi Canva dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembuatan media ajar yang menarik. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pendidik di RA Al Itroh At Thohiroh dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan Canva untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif
Language, Power, and Tourism: Media Representation of FORNAS KORMI as a Branding Strategy for Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara
This study examines how online media construct the representation of the National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS) organized by KORMI as a strategic instrument for tourism branding in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Using Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), the research explores linguistic choices, framing strategies, and discursive practices employed by national and local media in shaping public perceptions of the event. The analysis draws on news articles published between January and August 2025, covering pre-event, implementation, and post-event phases. Findings reveal that media discourse consistently links FORNAS with Lombok’s tourism identity, portraying the event as a celebration of cultural richness, natural beauty, and regional progress. Through selective diction, metaphors, and narrative structures, media outlets emphasize themes of festivity, economic benefit, and destination appeal while marginalizing critical issues such as infrastructure challenges and environmental concerns. The dominance of official voices further reinforces power relations that privilege government and tourism-industry interests. This study concludes that media coverage does not merely inform audiences but actively constructs symbolic meanings that strengthen Lombok’s branding as a leading sport-tourism destination. The findings underscore the strategic role of language, power, and discourse in shaping tourism imaginaries and policy directions
Characterization of Imagination Patterns in Students' Drawings Class 1 SDIT ALIF
Background: Learning art plays an important role in developing students' creative and imaginative abilities. Through art, students not only learn about techniques and aesthetics but also express their ideas, feelings, and imagination. Art education is realized in the form of visual arts, which can be enjoyed through the sense of sight. This enhances local cultural awareness, fosters appreciation for cultural values, and serves as a medium for creativity development and the generation of new ideas. Art also enables self-actualization and the cultivation of creativity. Imagination, often referred to as the ability to visualize, is the capacity to form new images or sensations that are not directly experienced through sight, hearing, or other senses. Among elementary school students, drawing is one of the most dominant dimensions of imagination. Through drawing, students engage in activities such as scribbling, sketching, and coloring objects, which results in meaningful visual representations.
Purpose: This article aims to explore the characterization of imaginative themes that emerge in drawings created by students.
Design and methods: The method used in this study is the Narrative Method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The Narrative Method, as applied here, follows Polkinghorne's model. Narrative research aims to explore and understand individual experiences through storytelling. Polkinghorne’s model provides an analytical framework consisting of three key components: theme, context (domain), and cognitive structure. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews and documentation. This research focuses on identifying the characterization of imaginative themes that appear in the drawings of first-grade students at SDIT ALIF.
Results: The findings indicate that the principle of proximality is implemented by grouping nearby objects into patterns. This reflects a perceptual tendency wherein humans perceive closely positioned objects as part of a larger group or relationship. The principle of continuity suggests that individuals tend to view lines and patterns as unified or continuous entities. In the context of imagination, this means that people often form mental images of ideas or concepts in a continuous manner. For example, when imagining an object or scene, individuals tend to fill in the missing or unclear parts in their minds to create a completer and more coherent picture. Transformasi Pembelajaran PAUD Melalui Pelatihan Penggunaan AI Sederhana untuk Pembuatan Video Edukasi Anak
Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, khususnya alat AI (Artificial Intelligence) sederhana, untuk membuat video edukasi anak. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada guru PAUD tentang penggunaan aplikasi AI berbasis perangkat lunak yang mudah diakses, yang memungkinkan pembuatan konten video yang menarik dan interaktif untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi sesi teori mengenai dasar-dasar teknologi AI, tutorial praktis tentang pembuatan video edukasi, serta latihan langsung menggunakan perangkat AI yang telah dipilih. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru PAUD dalam menggunakan teknologi video edukasi berbasis AI, yang pada gilirannya dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar anak-anak. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga membuka wawasan para guru terhadap pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran di era digital. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat berkelanjutan dan mendorong pengembangan konten edukasi yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif bagi anak-anak PAUD di masa depan
Pendampingan Iringan Tari Manuk Bulak Berbasis Musik Panturaan: Penguatan Pendidikan Seni di Desa Bulak, Kecamatan Jatibarang, Kabupaten Indramayu
Program pendampingan iringan Tari Manuk Bulak berbasis musik Panturaan dilaksanakan untuk menjawab kebutuhan komunitas seni Desa Bulak, Indramayu, yang selama ini mengalami keterbatasan dalam pengembangan iringan tari, pendokumentasian karya, dan regenerasi musisi. Tari Manuk Bulak, sebagai hasil rekonstruksi etnografi, memiliki nilai budaya yang tinggi tetapi belum memiliki ekosistem pertunjukan yang stabil. Program ini menawarkan solusi melalui pendampingan artistik, pelatihan kolaboratif antara musisi dan penari, digitalisasi iringan musik, serta penerapan strategi manajemen seni guna memperkuat kapasitas komunitas. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui lima tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi digital, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta penguatan keberlanjutan. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam stabilitas iringan musikal, penyusunan partitur digital, peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi musisi–penari, serta meningkatnya eksposur publik melalui dokumentasi digital dan publikasi media. Pembahasan mengungkap bahwa keberhasilan ini tidak hanya membawa perbaikan teknis, tetapi juga membuka kritik tentang transformasi fungsi musik Panturaan, politik regenerasi seni lokal, dan ketergantungan komunitas pada dukungan eksternal. Program ini menegaskan bahwa revitalisasi seni tradisi membutuhkan intervensi sistemik yang memadukan tradisi, inovasi, dan literasi digital. Secara keseluruhan, pendampingan ini memperkuat pendidikan seni berbasis komunitas sekaligus menciptakan fondasi bagi keberlanjutan Tari Manuk Bulak sebagai identitas budaya Indramayu
Arabic Language Learning in Majelis Taklim: Approaches and Methods
Background: Majelis taklim holds significant potential for Arabic language education through the application of varied and adaptive methods. The combination of traditional and modern methods can enhance teaching effectiveness if accompanied by appropriate strategies to overcome challenges. Thus, majelis taklim can continue to serve as a relevant and high-quality center for Arabic language learning for the Muslim community.
Purpose: This article examines the methods and approaches to teaching Arabic in majelis taklim..
Design and methods: A qualitative paradigm using literature reviews was chosen to understand how aspects of Arabic language teaching methods can be formulated to meet the needs of majelis taklim.
Results: In majelis taklim, various teaching approaches are employed, both traditional and modern. The combination of these approaches, along with the development of teaching methods and content, aims to support Islamic education, including Arabic language instruction. The preparation of teaching materials considers participants' backgrounds, particularly their age, and integrates traditional and modern methods. Commonly used Arabic teaching methods in majelis taklim include lectures and discussions, the grammar-translation method, as well as repetition and memorization techniques. The implementation of these methods must be adapted to address challenges such as limited time, diverse participant backgrounds, and restricted access to modern learning resources
Pelatihan Penggunaan Aplikasi Edukasi Digital untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini
Yayasan Ibnu Salam, focused on early childhood education, faces challenges in utilizing digital technology to support learning processes. Limited digital skills among educators and parents restricts children’s opportunities to experience interactive learning. This training program is designed to enhance the digital skills of parents and educators through the use of educational applications, aiming to create more engaging and relevant learning methods in today's digital era. By involving parents and educators as participants, this training aspires to empower them to optimize educational applications at home and in learning environments to boost children’s engagement and interest in learning. The program also seeks to increase participants' confidence in using technology as a safe and beneficial learning tool. The outcomes of this activity include improved digital skills, a deeper understanding of supporting early childhood development, and an active role of participants in facilitating positive and effective technology-based learning experiences for children
Narration of Islamic Values in the “Sang Piatu” Folklore
Background: Indonesia is rich with cultural diversity as the identity of the Indonesian nation. One form of diversity is folklore. As a cultural product, folklore contains value narratives that are important for national character building.
Purpose: This research focuses on the narrative of Islamic value education content in folklore. The purpose of this research article is to find out the narrative of Islamic value education content conveyed in the Sang Piatu folklore.
Design and methods: The research method used is descriptive-qualitative with a narrative structure and value approach as a conceptual reference for analysis. The research data was collected by using documentation technique. The object of analysis is the folklore of Sang Piatu from Bengkulu which was published as a non-educational textbook in 2016.
Results: The results showed that the Sang Piatu folktale has a narrative structure: equilibrium, disruption, disequilibrium (recognition, resettlement), and new-equilibrium. The value of Islamic education is about seeking knowledge and sincerity which are narrated implicitly and explicitly through direct dialog or storytelling narrators. The folklore of the Sang Piatu becomes an educational medium to form a personality with Islamic values
Effectiveness Evaluation of the Student Research Proposal Presentation Program at Scientific Writing Course
Higher education increasingly emphasizes the importance of developing students' academic and professional abilities, including scientific communication and presentation skills. The research proposal presentation program is a strategic initiative in responding to these needs, but challenges in its implementation still exist. Evaluate the effectiveness of student research proposal presentation programs in the Scientific Writing course at UNINDRA and identify strengths and weaknesses in the delivery of material and student argumentation structure. Evaluative research involves collecting data from the results of presentation evaluations, feedback from lecturers or other participants, and assessing the quality of presentations. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques were used, with thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns or themes in participant feedback and evaluation. The evaluation showed that the research proposal presentation program provided significant benefits for lecturers and students. However, there are challenges in the learning process due to inadequate support in CPMK and material distribution. The high lecturer-student ratio also hinders the implementation of the ideal presentation. Internal obstacles such as lack of courage and suboptimal preparation of presentation materials also affect the quality of presentations. The need for adjustments in the preparation of the curriculum and teaching methods, including aligning the CPMK with the CPL and ensuring that the plan for the presentation of research proposals is included in the RPS. It is necessary to provide adequate time and improvement of presentation equipment to improve the quality of presentation and feedback. Better integration between CPMK and CPL will create a globally competitive generation of academics and professionals. Thus, this program can be more effective in achieving higher education goals in developing students' academic and professional abilities
Meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa di Rumah Pintar Keisha, Kelurahan Harjamukti, Kecamatan Cimanggis, Kota Depok
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana proses pembelajaran speaking untuk tingkat usia prasekolah dan sekolah dasar diajarkan di Rumah Pintar Keisha. Seiring dengan kemajuan zaman dimana pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris terutama yang terkait dengan kemampuan speaking menjadi sangat penting di kalangan anak-anak usia prasekolah dan sekolah dasar. Kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris anak-anak yang terhitung sudah mahir sejak usia dini tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peran para pengajar. Pengajaran tidak akan optimal apabila pengajar tidak memiliki kompetensi dalam penguasaan Bahasa Inggris terutama speaking serta tidak memiliki kreativitas dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran kepada para siswa/i. Di samping pengetahuan, kreativitas dalam mengajar juga sangat dibutuhkan agar para siswa/i tidak merasa bosan dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Melalui ketersediaan tenaga pengajar yang kompeten, menginspirasi lahirmya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Rumah Pintar Keisha adalah salah satu lembaga pemberdayaan pendidikan yang memfokuskan kegiatannya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang mencakup speaking di dalamnya. Rumah Pintar Keisha berlokasi di wilayah Harjamukti, Cimanggis, Kota Depok. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini diharapkan akan mendorong peningkatan pemahaman dan penguasaan dalam mempelajari Bahasa Inggris terutama dalam kemampuan speaking dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik sehingga siswa/i tidak akan merasa kesulitan dan bosan untuk mempelajarinya serta memiliki rasa percaya diri saat berbicara di depan kelas
