No full textInternational audienceIn this article we discuss an intervention research project carried out as part of local prevention policy to promote children’s awareness of healthy and sustainable eating habits. The aim of the scientific collaboration was to design educational mediation tools concerning food knowledge for nursery school teachers. The work was carried out using a co-design methodology which gave rise to complex communication situations calling into question the place and role of the researcher. We explore the ethics of mediation and the researcher's posture in the design process.Cet article fait suite à une recherche-intervention menée dans le cadre d’une politique territoriale de prévention et de sensibilisation des enfants à des pratiques alimentaires saines et durables. La collaboration scientifique a pour finalité la conception d’un dispositif de médiation pédagogique des savoirs alimentaires destiné aux enseignants d’écoles maternelles. Le travail a été conduit selon une méthodologie de co-design, faisant émerger des situations de communication complexes qui ont questionné la place et le rôle de la chercheuse. Une réflexion est alors portée sur l’éthique de la médiation et la posture du chercheur dans le processus de conception

No full textInternational audienceLe rapport des sociologues à la société n’est pas à sens unique : si leur travail consiste à l’étudier, ils et elles s’y investissent également en retour. D’une certaine manière, cet investissement fait partie de notre mission de service public, consistant à partager et rendre disponibles les connaissances produites. Cette session interroge le travail et les modalités de diffusion de la sociologie en dehors du monde académique (enseignements au lycée et à l’université, séminaires, articles scientifiques, colloques, etc.). Nous proposons de nous saisir de deux modalités alternatives à partir desquelles collectiviser nos expériences : relatives aux sollicitations dans les médias d’une part ; à la création de supports de diffusion indépendants d’autre part. Comment réagir aux sollicitations des journalistes et des médias ? L’expertise sociologique est fréquemment sollicitée par les journalistes de la presse écrite, radio ou télévisée. Nous souhaitons mettre en partage les stratégies élaborées individuellement ou au niveau d’un collectif pour répondre à ces requêtes, que celles-ci aient été refusées, acceptées, couronnées de succès ou soumises à de vives difficultés. Les questions qui se posent à la profession sont nombreuses : elles concernent le temps à accorder à la préparation de ces interventions, les marges de négociation à attendre vis-à-vis des dispositifs proposés ou encore l’évaluation de leurs effets. Celles-ci se posent en des termes différents selon les formats et les espaces : contribuer à un reportage du JT de 20h ou présenter son ouvrage à la radio ne charrient pas tout-à-fait les mêmes enjeux. Quels dispositifs de diffusion des savoirs construire en sociologues ? Que ce soit parce que leurs sujets sont peu visibles dans l’espace médiatique, que la sociologie vit un moment d’attaque ou pour disposer d’une plus grande liberté de ton et de format, un nombre grandissant de chercheure-s, laboratoires et universités se saisissent de nouveaux outils de diffusion : collaborations avec des artistes de bande dessinée, création de podcasts, de sites web, de chaînes Twitch, etc. Avec cette semi-plénière, il s’agit plus largement de créer un espace au sein du congrès pour réfléchir aux mécanismes collectifs sur lesquels s’appuyer pour développer une présence des sociologues et de leurs savoirs dans l’espace public, qui ne repose pas que sur quelques individus et évite de reproduire un certain nombre d’inégalités (notamment de thématique, de statut ou de genre). La présentation prendra la forme d’une table ronde entre spécialiste des médias, collègues ayant expérimenté des formes de médiatisation et personnes actives dans les dispositifs de diffusion des travaux sociologiques hors du monde universitaire. Le but serait d’avoir un retour d’expérience mai aussi de contribuer à l’élaboration d’une réflexion plus large sur l’outillage de la discipline pour mieux faire vivre et diffuser la sociologie

No full textInternational audienceThis contribution is part of a study of an individual through the analysis of his memoirs. This individual is Jacques Godechot. A historian, specialist in the French Revolution, dean of the Faculty of Letters and Humanities at the University of Toulouse during the 1960s, as well as a passionate professor and researcher with numerous publications.In the late 1980s, Jacques Godechot began writing his memoirs. These memoirs initially had a familial and private goal, as the text is dedicated to his grandchildren. They represent an invaluable resource for a historian: 400 pages of memories spanning from his childhood to the end of his career. In them, we can trace the evolution of higher education and research through the trajectory of one individual, as well as witness the troubled or more fortunate periods of the early 20th century through the everyday life of Jacques Godechot.Only one chapter of these memoirs has been published: the one about the May 1968 movement at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities in Toulouse. The rest of the memoirs remain private for the time being. We were able to summarize them in the context of the Histoire de l'éducation journal, but no other publication has been made. In our presentation, we aim to explore, through various chapters, the journey of Jacques Godechot and, through this, the developments in education during that period. Therefore, following the general structure of the memoirs, we will emphasize certain specific events that we find interesting for the purpose of this study of teachers and teaching.Furthermore, we wish to use this presentation to call for further research into sources that are currently sitting in archives, particularly those relating to academic figures in a broad sense, starting with the deans in order to establish a starting point for the research.In conclusion, this presentation aims to study how the memoirs of Professor and Dean Jacques Godechot provide a strong illustration of the world of higher education and university teaching in the 20th century

Backscattering-Based Security in Wireless Power Transfer Applied to Battery-Free BLE Sensors
No full textInternational audienceThe integration of security and energy efficiency in Internet of Things systems remains a critical challenge, particularly for battery-free and resource-constrained devices. This paper explores the scalability and protocol-agnostic nature of a backscattering-based security mechanism by integrating it into Bluetooth Low Energy battery-free Wireless Sensor Network. The proposed approach leverages the Wireless Power Transfer link, traditionally used for energy harvesting, to generate additional identification signals without increasing energy consumption or computational demands. Experimental validation demonstrates the solution's functionality using compact, low-gain antenna, ensuring compatibility with size-constrained applications such as Structural Health Monitoring and smart transport. Furthermore, this work addresses the challenges associated with backscattering dynamic range and multi-node Wireless Sensor Network scenarios, discussing potential collisions between identification signals and proposing future improvements to enhance generalizability and scalability. The findings underscore the potential of the backscattering-based security mechanism for creating secure, sustainable, and scalable IoT deployments across diverse protocols and applications
