    IPS Teacher's Efforts In Increasing Students' Interest In Learning Class VIII C Through The Jigsaw Cooperative Method At Mts Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah

    This study aims to understand the efforts of social studies teachers in increasing the learning interest of Class VIII C students through the implementation of the cooperative Jigsaw method at MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah, Pamekasan. Additionally, this research focuses on identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Jigsaw method. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) method, with data collection through observation, questionnaires, and post-tests conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in students' interest and participation after the application of the Jigsaw method. In Cycle 1, the average student motivation reached 78.1% and increased in Cycle 2 to 84.4%. However, despite the rise in student motivation, learning outcomes required more attention in Cycle 1, where only 41.67% of students achieved mastery. In Cycle 2, learning outcomes significantly improved, with 87.5% of students reaching mastery. The supporting factors for the success of this method included cooperation among students in groups and efficient time management, while inhibiting factors included a lack of time management and group supervision. Based on these findings, the cooperative Jigsaw method can be an effective alternative to increase students' learning interest and motivation in social studies, with better classroom and time management

    PERAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER SISWA DI ERA DIGITAL:TANTANGAN DAN PELUANG

    Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a strategic role in character development among students in the digital era, aiming to cultivate individuals with faith, piety, and noble character. This study explores the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating PAI into the digital era, highlighting issues such as the negative influence of social media, and lack of student focus. Utilizing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews, and observations to gain insights into experiences and perceptions related to PAI in character building. The findings indicate that while technology can distract students, it also provides opportunities to enhance moral education through interactive digital tools, project-based learning, and the integration of Islamic values. Teachers’ proactive roles and collaboration with families and communities are essential in ensuring the effective implementation of PAI. The study concludes that adapting PAI with holistic strategies, combining technological integration and moral education, is crucial for fostering students' character in line with Islamic values.(Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam pengembangan karakter siswa di era digital. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang dalam mengintegrasikan PAI di era digital, dengan menyoroti masalah seperti pengaruh media sosial, dan kurangnya fokus siswa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi terkait PAI dalam pembentukan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun teknologi dapat menjadi distraksi bagi siswa, teknologi juga memberikan peluang untuk memperkuat pendidikan moral melalui alat digital interaktif, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan integrasi nilai-nilai islam. Peran proaktif guru serta kolaborasi dengan keluarga dan komunitas sangat penting untuk memastikan implementasi PAI yang efektif.     Pengaruh Metode TPR (Total Physical Response) Terhadap Kemampuan Berbahasa dan Kognitif Anak Speech Delay di PAUD

    The case of speech delay children in PAUD institutions in Ponorogo District has a high increase, there are 11 children who experience speech delays in PAUD. This study determined 4 speech delay children as research subjects. The TPR (Total Physical Response) method is applied to the learning process of speech delay children. This study aims to analyse the effect of Total Physical Response (TPR) method on language and cognitive development of speech delay children in PAUD. This research method is quantitative with the research design used for data analysis, namely the untreated control group design with pretest and postest which is a type of Control Group Time-Series Experiment, namely by conducting a pretest and posttest. The data collection technique is direct observation of the research subject during learning activities, and direct observation through documents of work, photos and videos of speech delay children. The results of observational data collected and analysed, as well as testing stated that there was an effect of the TPR method on the language and cognitive development of speech delay children in PAUD with evidence of the Wilcoxon test results which showed that language skills obtained an Asymp.Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.03 <0.05, while cognitive ability obtained an Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0.011 < 0.05. For future research, it is recommended to conduct research on the effect of the TPR method on other aspects of development, namely religious and moral values, social emotional, physical motor and art.Kasus anak speech delay pada lembaga PAUD di Kecamatan Ponorogo mengalami peningkatan yang tinggi, terdapat 11 anak yang mengalami hambatan berbicara di PAUD. Penelitian ini menetapkan 4 anak speech delay sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode TPR (Total Physical Response) diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran anak speech delay. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  menganalisis pengaruh metode Total Physical Response (TPR) pada perkembangan bahasa dan kognitif anak speech delay di PAUD. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yang dipergunakan untuk analisa data yaitu the untreated control group design with pretest and postest yang jenisnya Control Group Time-Series Experiment yaitu dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi langsung pada subjek penelitian pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, dan observasi secara langsung melalui dokumen hasil karya, foto dan video anak speech delay. Hasil data observasi yang dikumpulkan serta dianalisis, serta dilakukan pengujian menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh metode TPR terhadap perkembangan berbahasa dan kognitif anak speech delay di PAUD dengan bukti hasil uji Wilcoxon yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa memperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0,03 < 0,05, sedangkan kemampuan kognitif memperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0,011 < 0,05.     Application of Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model in Improving Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students of Mts Miftahul Khair

    This study aims to apply the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share type in Social Science subjects in class VIII MTS Miftahul Khair Cenlecen Pakong Pamekasan. This learning model was chosen because it can improve student learning outcomes through interaction and collaboration between students. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research (PTK) which refers to the Kemmis-Mc. By using qualitative data analysis obtained from observation, reflection of each cycle, and using quantitative data analysis used to determine student learning outcomes. Data was collected through tests. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share model can improve students' understanding of the subject matter, as well as increase students' active involvement in the teaching and learning process. From the data analysis, a significant increase in the average value of student learning outcomes was obtained after the application of this model. Students showed improvement in their analytical skills and understanding of the economic concepts taught, such as the role of economic actors and interactions in the economy

    Studying in China: Analysis of the Implementation of Formative Assessment in Learning and its Contribution to Islamic Religious Education

    The education system in China is heavily influenced by Confucianism, which has led to an exam-oriented education system and a teacher-centered approach to learning. This environment is less conducive to the implementation of formative assessment, which emphasizes evaluating the learning process. However, this does not mean that process-based assessments are not applied in China. On the contrary, formative assessments are still used despite challenges from a system that prioritizes exam results. This article discusses the implementation, effectiveness, challenges of formative assessment in China, and contributions for Islamic Religious Education. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the help of Prisma 2020. The results show that formative assessment in China is implemented through various methods such as student journals, portfolios, teacher-student interactions, formative tasks, self-assessment, peer assessment, classroom observation, and feedback. Formative assessment has proven effective in improving students' academic performance. However, its implementation faces challenges at the macro level (national education policy), meso level (school management), and micro level (classroom practices). Several formative assessment practices in China that can be adapted for assessment in Islamic education include feedback, portfolios, formative tasks, self-assessment, and peer assessment.Sistem pendidikan di Tiongkok sangat dipengaruhi oleh budaya Konfusianisme, yang melahirkan sistem pendidikan berorientasi pada ujian dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru. Kondisi ini memang kurang mendukung penerapan asesmen formatif, yang menekankan evaluasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Namun, hal ini tidak berarti bahwa asesmen berbasis proses tersebut tidak diterapkan di Tiongkok. Sebaliknya, asesmen formatif tetap digunakan meskipun ada tantangan dari sistem yang lebih mengutamakan hasil ujian. Artikel ini membahas implementasi, efektivitas, tantangan asesmen formatif di Tiongkok, dan kontribusinya terhadap pendidikan agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis (Systematic Literature Review/SLR) dengan bantuan Prisma 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen formatif di Tiongkok diterapkan melalui berbagai metode, seperti jurnal siswa, portofolio, interaksi guru-siswa, tugas formatif, penilaian diri, penilaian sebaya, observasi kelas, dan umpan balik. Asesmen formatif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja akademik siswa. Namun, penerapannya menghadapi tantangan di tingkat makro (kebijakan pendidikan nasional), meso (manajemen sekolah), dan mikro (praktik pembelajaran di kelas).     Maqāṣid cum-Mubādalah Methodology of KUPI: Centering Women’s Experiences in Islamic Law for Gender-Just Fiqh

    The production of fatwā in Indonesia has traditionally been dominated by male scholars and rooted in conventional methodologies that prioritize textual sources, often neglecting the lived experiences of women. This article examines innovative methodology proposed by the Indonesian Congress of Women Ulama (Kongres Ulama Perempuan Indonesia, or KUPI) to develop a gender-just approach to Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). Drawing on participant observation of KUPI's fatwa-making processes in two events occurring respectively in 2017 and 2022 and literature analysis, this study explores two key questions: (1) To what extent does KUPI’s maqāṣid cum-mubādalah methodology foster gender-just fiqh? (2) How does KUPI apply this methodology, incorporating both women’s experiential perspectives and literal Islamic texts, in issuing its fatwā on child marriage and abortion in cases of rape? The analysis highlights how KUPI’s maqāṣid cum-mubādalah approach challenges traditional jurisprudence, showcasing its transformative potential. KUPI’s framework integrates maqāṣid asy-syarī’ah (the objectives of Islamic law) with mubādalah a perspective emphasizing equality and reciprocity between men and women. Termed maqāṣid cum-mubādalah, this methodology recognizes lived experiences of women as one of the sources to formulate religious opinions, or fatwā, in Islamic legal tradition. This article underscores the importance of integrating women's experiential perspectives into Islamic legal discourse, offering new insights into evolving interpretations of fiqh that prioritize justice and equality

    Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Mengembangkan Sikap Toleransi Siswa di SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara Kutai Timur

    This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic religious education teachers in developing students' attitudes of tolerance, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by teachers in the process of developing students' attitudes of tolerance. This research uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. In contrast, the analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman analysis techniques with data condensation, data presentation, and verification. The results of this research show that PAI teachers at SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara play a role in developing students' attitudes of tolerance, PAI teachers act as educators, teachers, mentors, trainers and role models. Apart from that, PAI teachers also play a role in teaching the values ​​of tolerance through discussions, case studies and extracurricular activities, as well as creating an environment that respects diversity by encouraging positive interactions between students from various religious backgrounds. Supporting factors in implementing multicultural education include teacher commitment, cooperation with parents and the community, and support from the school administration while inhibiting factors include new students who have difficulty adapting and lack of support from the home environment, which is often internally related.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi siswa, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pengembangan sikap toleransi siswa. Penelitian ini  menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi wawancara, dan dokumentasi, adapun teknik analisisnya menggunakan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data, verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI di SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara berperan dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi siswa, guru PAI berperan sebagai pendidik, pengajar, pembimbing, pelatih dan role model. Selain itu, guru PAI juga berperan dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai toleransi melalui diskusi, studi kasus, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang menghargai keberagaman dengan mendorong interaksi positif antar siswa dari berbagai latar belakang agama. Faktor pendukung dalam penerapan pendidikan multikultural antara lain komitmen guru, kerjasama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat, serta dukungan dari pihak administrasi sekolah, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya antara lain siswa baru yang kesulitan dalam beradaptasi dan kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan rumah, yang seringkali berkaitan dengan internal

    Effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Group Counseling to Increase Self-Determination in Middle School Students

    Self-determination is an important factor in living life. The cause of low self-determination is the dominance of negative thoughts. Self-determination can be increased through various efforts or endeavors, one of which is fighting negative thoughts through cognitive behavior therapy counseling. The aim or purpose of this research is to increase self-determination through cognitive behavior therapy group counseling activities. Quantitative research takes the form of a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design which takes samples using a simple random sampling technique so that it becomes a reference in this research method. The application of the instrument or implementation of the instrument in this research is by using a self-determination scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. From the research that has been carried out, it is stated that the results of the implementation of cognitive behavior therapy group counseling are effective in increasing the self-determination of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo, with the results of statistical tests calculated by the Wilcoxon test having a significance value (2-tailed), namely 0.042 < 0.05.Determinasi diri menjadi faktor penting dalam menjalani kehidupan. Penyebab determinasi diri yang rendah karena adanya dominasi pikiran negatif. Determinasi diri mampu ditingkatkan dengan melalui berbagai upaya atau usaha salah satunya ialah dengan melawan pikiran negatif melalui konseling cognitive behavior therapy. Tujuan atau maksud dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan determinasi diri melalui kegiatan konseling kelompok cognitive behavior therapy. Penelitian kuantitatif berupa jenis pre-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test design yang mengambil sampel melalui teknik simple random sampling sehingga menjadi acuan dalam metode penelitian ini. Penerapan intstrumen atau pelaksanaan instrumen dalam penelitian ini ialah dengan menggunakan skala determinasi diri yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitas. Dari pelaksanaan penelitian yang telah dilakukan menyatakan bahwa hasil pelaksanaan konseling kelompok cognitive behavior therapy efektif dalam  meningkatkan determinasi diri siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo, dengan hasil uji statistik perhitungan uji Wilcoxon yang bernilai signifikansi (2-tailed) yaitu 0,042 < 0,05

    Abstract: The purpose of the research is to find out the effect of brand image, price, service quality and product reviews on Shopee's consumer purchasing decisions in Surabaya. The methods in this study used a quantitative approach with SPSS Version 25. Sources of this study use primary data. Collection of research data using questionnaires. The study sample was 150 respondents using Infinite Population techniques. The findings of this study are that the variables of brand image, service quality and product reviews directly affect the purchase decision of Shopee consumers in Surabaya. However, there was no direct effect on the purchase decision of Shopee consumers in Surabaya. However, together, the variables of brand image, price, service quality and product review together affect the decision to purchase Shopee consumers in Surabaya.   Keywords: Brand Image, Price, Service Quality, Product Review and Consumer Purchase Decision

    Pembelajaran berbasis STEAM merupakan pembelajaran yang mengkolaborasikan seperangkat pengetahuan sains, teknologi, rekayasa, seni, dan matematika untuk membantu peserta didik mengembangkan keterampilan dan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan sebagai bekal di masa depan. Adanya beberapa satuan PAUD di Kabupaten Tuban yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM, maka penulis tertarik untuk menganalisis proses penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM pada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan atau responden dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Satuan dan pendidik PAUD. Teknik validasi data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data, diperoleh merupakan deskripsi gambaran penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM pada anak usia dini sesuai dengan kenyataan yang ada.STEAM-based learning is learning that combines a set of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics knowledge to help students develop the skills and abilities needed for future preparation. There are several PAUD units in Tuban that implement STEAM-based learning, so the author is interested in analyzing the process of implementing STEAM-based learning in early childhood. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The informants or respondents in this research were the Unit Heads and PAUD educators. Data validation techniques use data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the data analysis obtained are a description of the application of STEAM-based learning in early childhood in accordance with existing reality
