FAILURE MODE EFFECTIVE ANALYSIS IN A BOILER USING COMBINATION OF EVENT TREE AND FAULT TREE ANALYSIS

Boilers are valued highly in many industrial industries and are expensive assets. In addition to their initial expense, they demand a large maintenance budget in order to guarantee output in respectable and safe working conditions. In order to avoid extreme repercussions, including the loss of lives, these assets must be carefully operated under experienced, well-trained supervision and subject to rigorous maintenance schedules and safety activities. However, this investigation is carried out with the help of the FMEA method, considering the previous literature\u27s studies of boiler accidents in Asia so far. Phase I has detailed information about boilers and Asian boiler accidents, and this research paper explains its nature. Subsequently, based on the data obtained in Phase I, an FMEA model will be developed in Phase II to highlight key boiler safety points. This research helps boiler manufacturers, boiler-related entrepreneurs, and boiler users to ensure maximum safety and identify any new things related to boiler safety

Challenges and Opportunities in 4D Printing -An Application Perspective

Over the last ten years, 3D printing technology has played a pivotal role in transforming the manufacturing industry. A recent advancement within the realm of 3D printing has introduced time as a fourth dimension, enabling the creation of 4D printing components. While a 3D-printed design remains static, a 4D-printed design has the remarkable ability to change its shape in response to environmental conditions. This paper also examines various applications of 4D printing across diverse fields such as electronics, renewable energy, aerospace, food, healthcare, and fashion. The review addresses research gaps, the current obstacles in 4D printing, and the future prospects of this technology

Challenges and Solution for Identification of Plant Disease Using Machine Learning & IoT

Internet of Thing (IoT) is a groundbreaking technology that has been introduced in the field of agriculture to improve the quality and quantity of food production. As agriculture plays a vital role in feeding most of the world\u27s population, the increasing demand for food has led to a rise in food grain production. The identification of plant diseases is a critical task for farmers and agronomists as it enables them to take proactive measures to prevent the spread of diseases, protect crops, and maximize yields. Traditional methods of plant disease detection involve visual inspections by experts, which can be time-consuming and often subject to human error. However, with technological advancements, IoT and Machine Learning (ML) has emerged as promising solution for automating and improving plant disease identification. This paper explores the challenges and solutions for identifying plant diseases using IoT and ML. The challenges discussed include data collection, quality, scalability, and interpretability. The proposed solutions include using sensor networks, data pre-processing techniques, transfer learning, and explainable AI

THE USE OF BLOCKCHAIN IN THE MANAGEMENT OF COVID-19 VACCINE DATA

ABSTRACT - The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted nearly every sector of the world economy. The recently discovered vaccine has promised a return to normalcy. Since traditional database storage systems can be tampered with quickly, the incorporation of blockchain would preclude the limitations of conventional database systems. This paper thus discusses the use of blockchain technology in managing the COVID-19 vaccine data to ensure credibility, safety, security, and transparency. Keywords - Blockchain technology, COVID-19 vaccine data, and vaccine supply chain

MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHMS FOR DETECTION OF CYBER THREATS USING LOGISTIC REGRESSION

The threat of cyberattacks is expanding globally; thus, businesses are developing intelligent artificial intelligence systems that can analyze security and other infrastructure logs from their systems department and quickly and automatically identify cyberattacks. Security analytics based on machine learning the next big thing in cybersecurity is machine data, which aims to mine security data to show the high maintenance costs of static relationship rules and methods. But, choosing the appropriate machine learning technique for log analytics using ML continues to be a significant barrier to AI success in cyber security due to the possibility of a substantial number of false-positive detections in large-scale or global Security Operations Centre (SOC) settings, selecting the proper machine learning technique for security log analytics remains a substantial obstacle to AI success in cyber security. A machine learning technique for a cyber threat exposure system that can minimize false positives is required. Today\u27s machine learning methods for identifying threats frequently use logistic regression. Logistic regression is the first of three machine learning subcategories—supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. Any machine learning enthusiast will encounter this supervised machine learning algorithm at the beginning of their machine learning career. It\u27s an essential and often applied classification algorithm

Risk analaysis of ethanol blending fuel in refinery industry using event tree analysis and Topsis method

Chemicals have always posed risks including fire, explosion, and the release of harmful substances in process industries like the Petroleum Industry. The occurrence of such catastrophes has a significant impact on the resources for finances and daily living. In this research paper, the major safety-related causes and effects are identified through event tree analysis based on accidents and incidents while using ethanol as fuel. For this purpose, the accident and incident data collected so far while using ethanol in the fuel industry, detailed information about ethanol, and even tree analysis. The event tree analysis (ETA) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) analysis method is utilized to Identifying an initiating event of interest of accident. The event tree\u27s structure also aids the analyst in identifying the locations where additional protocols or safety measures are required to mitigate accidents or lower their frequency
