    Elasto Buckling Behaviour Of Gfrp Laminated Plate With Central Holes

    In various cases, it is roughly unavoidable to have holes in the plate elements for inspection, maintenance, and service purposes. In such cases, the presence of these holes redistributes the membrane stresses in the plates and may reduce their stability significantly. The buckling of such perforated plates has received the attention of many researchers over the past years. This paper deals with the buckling analysis of symmetrically and laminated composite plates under two sides simply supported and two sides free boundary condition. The effects on buckling load by various cut out shapes (circular, square and elliptical) and sizes are investigated. It was observed that the plate with the circular cutout yielded the greatest critical buckling load when compared with the square and elliptical cutouts

    There are many welding parameters In welding process, the major factors whose selection contributes to the welded product as they all affect the strength and quality to a larger extent are weld design (edge preparation), Root face, and Root gap. The purpose of this paper is to efficiently determine the optimum welding operation parameters for achieving the highest ultimate strength in range of parameters. In order to meet the purpose in terms of both efficiency and effectiveness, this study will utilize the Taguchi parameters design methodology. The study includes selection of parameters, utilizing an orthogonal array, conducting experimental runs, data analysis, determining the optimum combination, finally the experimental verification and comparison by regression modelling

    STRESS CONCENTRATION IN ISOTROPIC & ORTHOTROPIC COMPOSITE PLATES WITH CENTER CIRCULAR HOLE SUBJECTED TO TRANSVERSE STATIC LOADING

    The present study brings out the thorough analysis of isotropic and orthotropic fixed rectangular plate with center circular hole under transverse static loading condition. In this paper influence of stress concentration and deflection due to singularity for isotropic and orthotropic composite materials under different parametric conditions is obtained. The effect of thickness -to- width of plate (T/A) and diameter-to-width (D/A) ratio upon stress concentration factor (SCF) for different stresses were studied. An isotropic and one composite material were considered for analysis to determine the variation of SCF with elastic constants. Deflection in transverse direction were calculated and analyzed. Results are presented in graphical form and discussed. Three-dimensional finite element models were created using ANSYS software. Results showed that maximum stress appear near the vicinity of the hole at the upper and lower portions of the plate. The effect of material properties, (E1/E2) on SCF for stresses along x, y and z axis is established thorough this analysis

    In this paper the bandwidth of a conventional rectangular microstrip antenna has been enhanced by locating capacitively excited λm/4 short circuit parasitic elements at its radiating and non-radiating edges along with the circular polarization and loading the parasitic elements with the rectangular slots. An impedance bandwidth of 1.53513 GHz to 1.843438 GHz (308.3MHz). It has three resonances at 1.56GHz, 1.67GHz and 1.8 GHz. The result are simulated by MOM based IE3D software

This tool provides a modern approach to fill the gap in the currently available computer based teaching software, with the purpose of providing alternative-mode subject delivery. The Cedar Logic is used to show the link between Boolean algebra and combinatorial and sequential circuits.     Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been considered as a promising method for reliably monitoring both civil and military environments under hazardous or dangerous conditions. Due to such environments ,the power supplies for sensors in the network are not usually rechargeable or replaceable. Therefore, the energy efficiency is critical for the lifetime and cost of WSN. Numerous mechanisms have been proposed to reduce the impact of communication protocols on the overall energy dissipation of WSN and communicating it with other nodes, moving on to the sink via transceiver. Efficiency of protocol can only be beneficial if the network is alive otherwise what to do for the novel ideas with the dead network. In this paper, Our proposed cluster based routing algorithm has exploited threshold level based load balancing and role transfer techniques along with multi-assistant cluster heads to cope with the aforementioned power hungry issues. Combination of multihop and direct routing has improved our protocol energy utilization

    Text Categorization based on Associative Classification

    Text mining is an emerging technology that can be used to augment existing data in corporate databases by making unstructured text data available for analysis. The incredible increase in online documents, which has been mostly due to the expanding internet, has renewed the interest in automated document classification and data mining. The demand for text classification to aid the analysis and management of text is increasing. Text is cheap, but information, in the form of knowing what classes a text belongs to, is expensive. Text classification is the process of classifying documents into predefined categories based on their content. Automatic classification of text can provide this information at low cost, but the classifiers themselves must be built with expensive human effort, or trained from texts which have themselves been manually classified. Both classification and association rule mining are indispensable to practical applications. For association rule mining, the target of discovery is not pre-determined, while for classification rule mining there is one and only one predetermined target. Thus, great savings and conveniences to the user could result if the two mining techniques can somehow be integrated. In this paper, such an integrated framework, called associative classification is used for text categorization The algorithm presented here for text classification uses words as features , to derive feature set from preclassified text documents. The concept of Naïve Bayes classifier is then used on derived features for final classification
