Get PDFThe field of study balagah is divided into three major branches, one of which is badi’s science, which is learning about beautiful and interesting language when it will convey a meaning, to magnify the meaning called with muhassinat ma’nawiyah, and to magnify lafadz known with muhassinat lafdziyyah. Thibaq is a doctrine that studies the beauty of meaning (muhassinat ma’nawiyah). This study focuses on the application of thibaq in the Qur’an. The purpose this study is to know the contradiction of word and the meaning of the Qur’an and the significance of the verse that is thibaq. The research method used is qualitative descriptive because the type of research is library research, data collection techniques are documentation methods. The results of this research show that the thibaq rule functions to find a meaning that can clarify the intent, purpose, or clarify the meaning to be conveyed
Fenomena Gerhana dan Signifikansi Astronomi dalam Al-Qur’an
Get PDFThis article describes the phenomenon of a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse from the perspective of the Koran and astronomy. This phenomenon has attracted human attention since ancient times and also has meaning and significance in Islamic teachings. In this paper, we carry out a scientific interpretation analysis of verses from the Koran related to lunar eclipses and solar eclipses. We explain how a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, and how a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun. This research uses the library research method by presenting interpretations from Al-Quran exegetes and relate it to modern astronomical knowledge. Apart from that, we also discuss the significance of astronomy in the Koran and the importance of studying knowledge about the universe in Islam. This article aims to increase Muslims' understanding of the relationship between religion and science, as well as to appreciate the wonders of the universe which reflect the greatness of Allah SWT. The results of this research show that knowledge about eclipses in Islamic religious sources is an important factor that makes Muslims aware of the significance of astronomy
Menzalimi Diri Sendiri Dalam Al-Qur’an (Studi Penafsiran Ayat-Ayat Zhalim Li Nafsih Dalam Tafsir Al-Misbah)
Get PDFTyranny is often known in society as a form of crime against others. Islam discusses zhalim in the Qur'an not only aimed at the perpetrators of crimes against others, but also at oneself. The Qur'an also mentions three groups of Allah's chosen ones as the inheritors of the book that will be put in heaven. One of the 3 verses in the verse is the group of zhalim li nafsih or tyranny of oneself, thus raising the question, how to interpret the verses of zhalim li nafsih, so that the zhalim is also sometimes interpreted as including the inhabitants of heaven. So the author is interested in discussing the interpretation of zhalim li nafsih in Tafsir Al-Misbah as a contemporary book of tafsir. This research aims to find out the meaning of zhalim li nafsih in the Qur'an based on the perspective of Tafsir Al-Misbah, as well as its implementation in life applications. The results of this study are zhalim li nafsih according to M.Quraish Shihab are people who mistreat themselves due to arrogance, disbelief, arrogance, committing many sins and mistakes or lack of charity and its implementation contains the urgency to stay away from self-tyranny and continue to try to be better in living life

However, with this perfection, there are also shortcomings that accompany it, namely the despicable character in human identity. The aim of this research is to explain and explore related issues the despicable characteristics of humans through the word al-Insan which accompanied this characteristic along with its interpretation. With this, the author uses the thematic interpretation method in presenting explanations related to these characteristics, namely by referring to data, literature, reference sources through library research. The results of research into many despicable human traits in the Koran have been found, some of which include complaints, arrogance, love of material possessions, stubbornness, ungratefulness of favors, and forgetfulness of Allah. These characteristics arise because humans have followed their desires rather than their intellect, which ultimately leads to them falling into things that are prohibited by the Creator

This writing aims to present Sheikh Nawawi's perspective on the meaning of the soul in his interpretative work, which is characterized by mystical elements with a distinctive Nusantara flavor. The approach taken involves analytical descriptions of the meaning of the soul, followed by a critical analysis and comparison with other interpreters. From Sheikh Nawawi Al Bantani's interpretation of the eloquence of the meaning of the "Rûh" in the Qur'an, it can be generally understood that the term "ruh" encompasses the concept of something that gives creatures the ability to live (soul). Additionally, it can mean the angel Gabriel or even the Qur'an, signifying mercy and assistance from Allah. As the soul is abstract and holds implicit meanings, the deeper it is explored, the richer its significance becomes. Therefore, this research is conducted to contribute to the world of interpretation, providing insights into the existence of the soul

Because surah al-maidah verse 51 is often used as a reference for prohibiting non-Muslims from becoming leaders. This type of research is library research. This writing will focus on discussions of a literary nature, the study of which is by searching and reviewing various library materials that will be used by the author. This research uses the ma'na cum maghza hermeneutic approach initiated by Sahiron Syamsuddin. After researching using the ma'na cum maghza approach, there is no absolute prohibition in religion that forbids someone who is a non-Muslim from becoming a leader, as long as it does not cause harm. This is because leadership is an ability and readiness that a person has to be able to care for, supervise and protect the people they lead. Then, Indonesia is a nation state that does not adopt Islamic law as the basis of the state, and practices the concept of democracy, so that the appointment of leadership from non-Muslim circles in the country is permitted as long as it brings benefits

Get PDFThis study explores the miraculous nature of the Qur'an in the context of developing Islamic economics by focusing on the analysis of Islamic business principles found in Surah Al-Baqarah. Although much has been discussed, this research aims to provide deeper insights into these principles through the perspective of Qur'anic exegesis. The objective is to present a more detailed study of the principles within the Qur'an, particularly in Surah Al-Baqarah, by applying exegetical approaches from linguistic and jurisprudential perspectives. This approach is expected to offer a more holistic and profound understanding of the messages contained in the Qur'anic text related to Islamic business principles.Through the method of tafsir analysis, this study aims to identify, analyze, and interpret the Islamic business principles found in Surah Al-Baqarah. The findings of this research are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of Islamic economic thought and the enhancement of Islamic business practices. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide clearer insights into the Islamic business principles contained in the Qur'an and offer academic recommendations that can serve as guidelines for practitioners, academics, and policymakers in strengthening Islamic economics in a more sustainable and equitable manner.Moreover, this study seeks to explore the relevance of these principles in the modern context and the current global economic challenges. Thus, this research not only aims to add to the scholarly literature but also to provide practical solutions that can be implemented in contemporary Islamic business practices, thereby enhancing the welfare of the community and strengthening the economic foundation based on Islamic values
Makna Kebahagiaan dalam Lafadz al-Farah menurut Tafsir al-Maraghi
Get PDFHappiness is a theme that people always talk about. What is its essence and what paths should be taken to get it. But not every human being can find an easy and correct path to achieve his or her goals of happiness. The word that means happiness in the Qur'an is mentioned using several words, faroha or al-farah as one of the words that means happiness is found in 22 verses with various derivations. To facilitate understanding of the lafadz, this research will focus on the meaning of happiness on the lafadz al-farah according to the interpretation of al-Maraghi. This study uses the method of literature or library research with descriptive analytical approach or thematic studies. The results of research and discussion obtained are that the meaning of happiness in lafadz al-farah is generally divided into two; happiness that is positive and happiness that is negative. Positive happiness, such as happiness that comes from the grace of Allah, is happiness that brings gratitude and joy. While negative happiness such as worldly happiness and happiness that makes us arrogant and proud of ourselves is happiness that is ephemeral, temporary and not infrequently also becomes a sin. Some of the meanings of happiness that the author gets from the verses with the word al-farah are; Happiness for disobeying Allah's commands, happiness in disobedience, happiness that causes pride and pride, happiness over the blessings of the world, happiness for the grace of Allah, and happiness over the suffering of others
Konsep Hedonisme dalam Al-Qur’an Perspektif Tafsir Al-Maraghi
Get PDFThis study looks at the idea of hedonism from Tafsir Al-Maraghi's point of view, as well as what it means and what its implications are in the Koran. The excess or overspending of the riches and blessings sent by God is the hedonism discussed in this study. Stated differently, hedonism is sometimes referred to as consumptiveness or wastefulness. Known for its comprehensive and topical analysis of the Koran and social life, Tafsir Al-Maraghi is a well-known tafsir that can offer significant insights on this particular theme. The objective of this study is to examine Tafsir Al-Maraghi's definition of hedonism, with particular attention on how pertinent verses from the Koran are interpreted. This study makes use of library research or research from libraries. This kind of library research uses written resources such as books, documents, and the like as its primary source of data. The Al-Maraghi commentary book by Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi serves as the primary source for this study. The findings of the study demonstrate that hedonism is a reprehensible characteristic that stems from liver illness and negatively affects both social and personal life. The significant significance of the concept of hedonism is revealed by Al-Maraghi's interpretation, which links it to the ideas of monotheism, asceticism, and qona'ah. It also emphasizes how crucial it is to abstain from hedonism in order to preserve the world and the afterlife
