    Implementasi Pembelajaran Projek pada Sekolah Penggerak di Era Digital

    The goal of this study is to discuss how project learning is being implemented at the driving school with a variety of obstacles to overcome and solutions to make it more efficient. This research uses case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman case study model. The results of the study show that project learning in this school has been carried out in two rounds in one year. In its implementation, several challenges were found, namely the incompatibility between group members, the lack of synchronization of the mindset between the central government and local governments, and financing in the implementation of project learning. The school's strategy to answer these challenges includes holding regular meetings between students, homeroom teachers, and BK teachers. In the meeting, reinforcement and motivation were given about the importance of working together. To make learning outcomes more appropriate for the learning environment, schools conduct independent assessments of the outcomes. At the start of the new school year, funds for student development are used to fund project activities.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran projek di Sekolah Penggerak dengan berbagai tantangan dan strategi yang ditempuh agar pelaksanaanya lebih efektif.  Pembelajaran projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam Kurikulum Merdeka belum digunakan oleh semua sekolah. Kurikulum ini masih terbatas dilaksanakan oleh Sekolah Penggerak saja. Kondisi ini menjadikan sebagian besar guru belum paham tentang pembelajaran projek. Padahal pembelajaran projek mudah dilaksanakan apalagi di era digital ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model studi kasus Miles dan Huberman.  Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa  pembelajaran projek di sekolah ini telah dilaksanakan dua putaran dalam satu tahun.  Dalam pelaksanaanya, ditemukan beberapa tantangan, yaitu ketidakkompakan antar anggota kelompok, belum sinkronnya mindset antara pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah, dan pembiayaan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran projek.  Strategi sekolah untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut diantaranya adalah diadakan pertemuan secara berkala antara siswa, wali kelas, dan guru BK. Dalam pertemuan tersebut diberikan penguatan dan motivasi tentang pentingnya hidup bekerjasama. Sekolah melaksanakan penilaian hasil belajar secara mandiri agar lebih sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah.     Backward Design Implementation in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Context

    Backwards design (BD) starts from the desired results or standards and then moved to the evidence of learning obtained from assessment (Tighe & Wiggins, 1999). Despite the conventional trend that designing a curriculum starts by considering the input, a backward design has begun to gain attention as many researchers were interested to study it. This article aims to explore the implementation of backward design in the EFL context. This study applies a qualitative method by analyzing various documents related to the application of backward design in the context of EF with the thematic method of analysis. Several studies were reviewed and analyzed to problematize and make meaning of the implementation of BD in EFL classrooms and its impacts. The backward design can be implemented at various levels ranging from elementary up to university levels. This model can be integrated into the lesson plan, materials development, and classroom instructions and activities. In addition, BD gave a positive impact on students’ motivation, teachers’ professional development, and students’ creative and thinking skills.Desain mundur dimulai dari hasil atau standar yang diinginkan dan kemudian pindah ke bukti pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari penilaian (Tighe & Wiggins, 1999). Terlepas dari tren konvensional; merancang kurikulum dimulai dengan mempertimbangkan input, desain mundur mulai mendapat perhatian karena banyak peneliti tertarik untuk mempelajarinya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi desain mundur dalam konteks sebagai bahasa asing. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif dengan menganalisis berbagai dokumen terkait penerapan desain mundur dalam konteks EFL dengan metode tematik analisis.  Beberapa studi ditinjau dan dianalisis untuk mempermasalahkan dan memaknai penerapan BD di ruang kelas EFL dan dampaknya. Desain mundur dapat diterapkan di berbagai tingkatan mulai dari tingkat dasar hingga universitas. Model ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam RPP, pengembangan materi, dan instruksi dan kegiatan kelas. Selain itu, desain mundur juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi siswa, pengembangan profesionalisme guru, dan kemampuan kreatif dan berpikir siswa

    Komunikasi Elemen Sekolah dan Masyarakat dalam Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Layanan

    The purpose of this study is to describe the communication between school and community elements in an effort to improve service quality at SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari. Qualitative research applies a descriptive approach. Research informants are: principals, teachers, and the community (student guardians). Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis went through three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, data conclusion and verification. Meanwhile, the validity of the data is carried out by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of the study indicate that communication between schools and the community in improving the quality of services at SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari, namely: 1) integrity, namely providing integrated information to the community; 2) continuously. Periodic communication; 3) comprehensive or there is no special application in communicating with the community; 4) building, meaning that the resulting communication gives hope for improving the quality of education; and 5) adjustments in communication are needed in introducing school programs.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi elemen sekolah dan masyarakat dalam upaya peningkatkan mutu layanan di SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari. Penelitian kualitatif menerapkan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan penelitian yaitu: kepala sekolah, guru, dan masyarakat (wali murid). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui tiga tahap yakni: data reduction, data display, data conlusion drowing/verification. Sementera itu, keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan antara sekolah dengan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan di SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari yakni: 1) integritas, yaitu pemberian informasi kepada masyarakat yang terpadu; 2) secara terus menerus. Komunikasi yang dilakukan secara berkala; 3) menyeluruh atau tidak ada pemberlakukan khusus dalam melakukan komunikasi dengan masyarakat; 4) membangun, artinya komunikasi yang dihasilkan memberikan harapan peningkatan mutu pendidikan semakin membaik; dan 5) penyesuaian dalam komunikasi diperlukan dalam mengenalkan program-program sekolah

    Implementasi Kepemimpinan Instruksional Kepala Sekolah selama Pembelajaran Daring

    The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the implementation of the principal's leadership during online learning at ABA Kindergarten Sukoharjo, Sleman. This research is a type of qualitative research using a participatory approach. With the descriptive analysis method, the author begins by collecting data systematically and consistently, then analyzed, selected then combined so that conclusions can be drawn using deductive analysis. The results of this study found that the implementation of the principal's instructional leadership during online learning had been carried out well but needed to be optimized in the form of several activities; starting from understanding goals and policies, routinely conducting monitoring and evaluation providing solutions to every problem, so that online learning will be more effective, maximum education services for all students and on the other hand still trying to maintain the quality of learning in schools.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implementasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah selama pembelajaran daring di TK ABA Sukoharjo, Sleman.  Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatoris. Dengan metode deskripsi analisis, penulis memulai dengan cara pengumpulan data secara sistematis serta konsisten, lalu dianalisis, diseleksi kemudian digabungkan sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan menggunakan analisis deduktif. Hasil penelitian dari kepala sekolah dan empat guru di TK ABA Sukoharjo menemukan bahwa implementasi kepemimpinan intruksional kepala sekolah selama pembelajaran daring sudah terlaksana dengan baik tetapi perlu  dioptimalkan dalam bentuk beberapa kegiatan; mulai dari memahami tujuan dan kebijakan, rutin dalam melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi serta memberikan solusi dalam setiap masalah, sehingga pembelajaran daring akan lebih efektif, layanan pendidikan yang maksimal bagi seluruh peserta didik dan di sisi lain tetap berupaya menjaga mutu pembelajaran di sekolah

    Students’ Perception in Learning English through Blended Learning

    Mobile technology plays an equal role with face-to-face interaction in the learning process in this current era. One of the most commonly utilized technologies is the use of social media integrated with the face-to-face teaching and learning as called a blended-learning. This recent study aims: (1) to investigate how the blended learning process is operated, (2) to determine students’ perceptions in learning English through blended learning. This study was an explanatory mixed-method research design using observation, questionnaire, and interview as instruments to collect data from the purposively selected 26 students. The results of this study indicated that the process of learning English through blended learning both offline (face-to-face) and online (WhatsApp application) was well-implemented. Besides, students also showed a lot of positive perceptions when learning English through blended learning utilizing social media of WhatsApp and through the face-to-face form of language learning interaction. Thus, the researchers concluded that blended learning maintains essential behavioral, cognitive, and emotional aspects in English learning.Mobile technology plays an equal role with face-to-face interaction in the learning process in this current era. Besides, students felt comfortable and enjoyed learning English, showing their English language skills and favorable learning in the form of well-implemented blended learning. Thus, researchers concluded that blended learning established essential behavioral, cognitive, and emotional aspects of students in English learning

    Pengaruh Kompetensi Kepala Sekolah dan Sistem Informasi terhadap Efektivitas Sekolah

    The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the effect of principal competence and information systems on school effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 60 teachers. Because the number of populations is known, then to determine the research sample is in accordance with the population itself. Data collection techniques were carried out through the distribution of questionnaires. Data processing utilizes the SPSS 17.0 (Statistical Product and Smart Solutions) program. The results showed that the competence of the principal and the information system had a positive effect on the effectiveness of the school, this means that the higher the competence of the principal and the higher the quality of the information system, the greater the effectiveness of the school.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tentang pengaruh kompetensi kepala sekolah dan sistem informasi terhadap efektivitas sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sebanyak 60 orang. Karena jumlah populasi telah diketahui, maka untuk menentukan sampel penelitian adalah sesuai dengan jumlah populasi itu sendiri. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket. Pengolahan data memanfaatkan program SPSS 17.0 (Statistical Product and Smart Solutions). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kepala sekolah dan sistem informasi berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas sekolah, hal ini berarti semakin tinggi kompetensi kepala sekolah dan semakin berkualitas sistem informasi maka semakin meningkat efektivitas sekolah

    Urgensi Literasi Digital Bagi Anak Usia Dini Dan Orang Tua

    The purpose of this study is to describe the importance of digital literacy for early childhood in training children's intelligence, psychology, language skills, cognitive, emotional, social, academic and critical. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative procedure. Data collection techniques used were observation and interviews involving 5 parents of students. Data analysis includes stages: collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. The results of the study show the importance of digital literacy for early childhood and parents in training children's intelligence, psychologically, language skills, cognitive, emotional, social, academic and critical, children's cognitive abilities increase and language skills become better and make it easier for people Parents are looking for content containing stories, pictures, songs, etc. that are appropriate for young children. Digital literacy is very important to be developed by all elements in the world of education.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan pentingnya literasi digital bagi anak usia dini dalam melatih kecerdasan anak, psikologi, kecakapan bahasa, kognitif, emosional, sosial, akademik dan kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah prosedur kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara yang melibatkan 5 orang tua dari anak didik. Analisis data meliputi tahapan: collection, reduction, diplay, dan conclusion.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya literasi digital bagi anak usia dini dan orang tua dalam melatih kecerdasan anak, secara psikologi, kemampuan kecakapan bahasa, kognitif, emosional, sosial, akademik dan kritis, kemampuan kognitif anak meningkat dan kecakapan dalam berbahasa menjadi lebih baik serta memudahkan para orang tua mencari konten berisi cerita, gambar, nyanyian, dll yang sesuai anak usia dini.     Pengelolaan Kelompok Kerja Guru dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalitas Guru

    The purpose of this study was to explore the management of the Teacher Working Group (KKG in Bahasa). It is important because through the KKG, teachers will gain teaching readiness, and the professional abilities of teachers and the quality of their performance. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies with informants consisting of school supervisors, principals, teachers, and the head of the KKG. The results showed that: the management of KKG in Cluster 3, Manonjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency was optimal. Meanwhile, the professionalism of teachers is also increased.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi pengelolaan KKG. Menjadi penting karena melalui KKG, guru akan memperoleh kesiapan mengajar, dan kemampuan profesional guru serta mutu kinerjanya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri dari pengawas sekolah, kepala sekolah, guru, dan ketua Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pengelolaan KKG di Gugus 3 Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sudah optimal. Sementara itu profesionalitas guru juga meningkat

    Transformasi Digital Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah pada Masa Pandemi

    The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in the implementation of education from face-to-face learning to distance learning, thus demanding a digital transformation through the use of technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the form and process of digital transformation carried out in carrying out thematic learning activities during the distant learning period at the basic education level. The data collection technique used was interviews involving the principal, and two teachers as research resource persons. Data analysis includes collection, reduction, display, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that SD Al Azhar 38 Bantul carried out a digital transformation in thematic learning during the covid-19 pandemic by utilizing platforms such as pintro, zoom, google meet, and whatsapp. Meanwhile, the digital transformation process carried out by SD Al Azhar 38 Bantul itself went through several stages, namely digital transformation planning; organizing digital transformation; implementation of digital transformation; and control over digital transformation.Pandemi Covid 19 mengakibatkan perubahan pelaksanaan pendidikan dari pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi jarak jauh sehingga menuntut adanya sebuah transformasi digital melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dan proses transformasi digital yang dilakukan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik pada masa pembelajaran jarak jauh di tingkat pendidikan dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara yang melibatkan kepala sekolah dan dua orang guru sebagai informan penelitian. Analisis data  meliputi  collection,  reduction,  display,  dan  verifying/conclusion.  Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD Al Azhar 38 Bantul melakukan transformasi digital dalam pembelajaran tematik selama masa pandemi covid-19 dengan memanfaatkan platform berupa pintro, zoom, google meet, dan whatsapp. Sementara proses transformasi digital yang dilakukan oleh SD Al Azhar 38 Bantul sendiri melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu perencanaan transformasi digital; pengorganisasian transformasi digital; pelaksanaan transformasi digital; dan kontrol terhadap transformasi digital

    Implementasi Media Pohon Literasi untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains Murid pada Mata Pelajaran IPA

    The low scientific literacy in Indonesia shows that students don’t understand the concepts, processes, and applications of science in life. This can be overcome by the application of teaching aids in learning activities, by literacy tree. The research was conducted with the aim of knowing an increase in students' scientific literacy by applying the media literacy tree to science subjects. This research is an experimental study with a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample selection in this study used a cluster random sampling technique, taking a sample of 64 students who were divided into the experimental group and the control group. The results of the study indicate that the average N-Gain test in the experimental is 0.6 and the control is 0.4. The results of the statistical test tcount > ttable, means a significant difference between the control and experimental groups. The study concluded the scientific literacy of the experimental by applying the literacy tree media was superior to the scientific literacy of the control by applying conventional media so that the application of the literacy tree media into learning activities could improve students' scientific literacy in science lessons.Rendahnya literasi sains di Indonesia memperlihatkan bahwa murid belum memahami konsep, proses, dan pengaplikasian pengetahuan sains dalam kehidupan. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan penerapan alat peraga di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran (pohon literasi). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya kenaikan literasi sains murid dengan menerapkan media pohon literasi pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain true experimental design menggunakan pretest-postest control group design. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, mengambil sampel 64 murid yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan rerata uji N-Gain di kelompok eksperimen: 0.6 dan kelompok kontrol 0.4. Hasil dari uji statistik memperlihatkan thitung > ttabel yang berarti ada perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Penelitian menyimpulkan literasi sains kelompok eksperimen dengan menerapkan media pohon literasi lebih unggul daripada literasi sains di kelompok kontrol dengan menerapkan media konvensional sehingga penerapan media pohon literasi ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dapat menaikkan literasi sains murid pada pelajaran IPA
