Perception of Foreign Tourists to Karawo Embroidery Handicrafts in Gorontalo Tourist Destinations
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was focused on knowing the perceptions of tourists, both foreign tourists, about the craft of Karawo embroidery in Gorontalo Tourism Destinations. This research method using a quantitative approach itself is carried out using a questionnaire given to the public and tourists who visit the Karawo embroidery craft center. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability or non-random sample selection technique. The results showed that the quantitative approach itself was carried out using a questionnaire given to the public and tourists who visited the Karawo embroidery craft center. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability or non-random sample selection technique. The results of this study indicate that the Karawo embroidery craft has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction in Gorontalo Province. Analysis of the attractiveness and perceptions of tourists who visit the Karawo embroidery craft center as well as the local community provide direction on the development of tourist attractions that are related to cultural aspects. The perception of foreign tourists in general gives a positive value to Karawo embroidery and argues that Karawo embroidery is unique from the manufacturing process and has its own characteristics with very beautiful motif designs
Politeness Strategies In Youtube Comment In Catatan Najwa Eps. Melawan Stigma Corona
Get PDFThe purpose of this research was to find politeness strategies used by netizens in YouTube comments section based on Najwa Shihab’s YouTube Channel. This research was descriptive qualitative research based on politeness strategies phenomena in written language. Thirteenth strategies found in this research were expressing wish and gratitude, intensifying support and interest, softening request, being pessimistic, giving sympathy, using identity marker, being indirect, showing agreement, face-negative threatening acts, giving questions or asking reason, using impersonal forms, using joke, and giving praise. The data in this research used verbal impressions of netizens comments on Najwa Shihab YouTube Channel period April 2020. This research used the principle of courtesy Brown Levinson to classify and analyze the data according to its category. This research also was found that the obidience of positive face and threaten positive face are more dominant. These kinds of utterance are dominant in netizens comment is influenced by context
Digestive Surgical Emergencies at Analankininina Toamasina Madagascar University Hospital during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Get PDFDuring the period of total containment during the Covid-19 pandemic; our department became the sole treatment center for all surgical emergencies. The influx of many patients made the task very difficult for the surgeon. This is a 3-month descriptive prospective study in the visceral surgery department at the Analankininina Toamasina University Hospital Center. Of the 81 patients hospitalized during the study, 32 patients were admitted for digestive surgery emergency, i.e. 39.50%. The mean age was 34.87 years with a sex ratio of 1.66, predominantly male. Abdominal pain occupied 43.75% of the reason for consultation, the most frequent pathologies were acute intestinal obstruction (18.75%) and acute appendicitis (18.75%). An exploratory laparotomy is performed on 40.62% of patients. Many patients were operated on for proctologic emergency (18.75%). The average length of hospitalization is 4.18 days. The visceral emergencies are present despite the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic and the activities of the health personnel are uninterrupted
Completeness Analysis of Completeness Filling and Time of Returning The Medical Record for Inpatient Patients at Regional General Hospital of Makassar City
Get PDFAt Makassar City Hospital, one of the service indicators that has not been achieved is in incomplete medical record files and medical record files that are returned more than 2x24 hours after service. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the completeness of filling in and the timeliness of returning inpatient medical record files at the Makassar City Hospital. This type of research is mixed methods research. The study design used a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in September - October 2020. The results showed that the implementation of completeness of filling in and the timeliness of returning medical record files was still low, this has led to the accumulation of medical record files in the treatment room and delays in returning the files of inpatients to the medical record installation of the City Hospital Makassar. Training on the implementation of medical records has not been comprehensive for all officers at the Makassar City Hospital. The result of the delay in returning the documents is the delay in payment of insurance claims to the hospital. Accumulation of medical records in the treatment room from incomplete medical records and returned to the treatment room. Health workers who forget to fill in complete medical records are only given a sanction in the form of a warning during a meeting with the medical committee. Availability of SOP on filling and returning medical record files at the hospital. The facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of medical records are still insufficient for medical record employees at Makassar City Hospital. It is recommended that the hospital improve the implementation of the completeness and timeliness of returning medical record files, provide incentives or rewards for completing filling in, increase the number of computers and expand the room in the medical record installation, and review the medical record format at Makassar City Hospita
Accounting Guidelines Implementation: A Study on Economic Development of Islamic Boarding Schools
Get PDFThe development of Islamic boarding schools is one of the targets for sharia economic development which is based on the understanding of the halal value chain where the development of Islamic economics and finance summarizes various initiative programs including the development of Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines at Al Huda Islamic Boarding School which is more focused on the readiness of HR at Al Huda Islamic Boarding School in applying the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines. The Al Huda Islamic boarding school was chosen as the research locus because the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School was appointed by Bank Indonesia Gorontalo Representative Office as a pilot project for the Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) which applies the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines. The stages of the research method began with observations and results of interviews with informants from the board of the Al-Huda Islamic Boarding School. The results showed that there was a desire to apply these guidelines in the Al-Huda Islamic boarding school. Even though treasurers, secretaries and operators do not have a basic knowledge of the Economics of Accounting, the existing human resources are ready to apply the Pesantren accounting guidelines, of course, adjusting to the needs of the Al-Huda Islamic boarding school. The author sees that there is no urgency in implementing Islamic boarding school accounting guidelines at the Al-Huda Islamic boarding school because the reporting entity is the foundation that houses the Al-Huda Islamic boarding school, the Al Huda Islamic Education and Da'wah Foundation, Gorontalo. The Influence of Workload, Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation on Nurse Performance in Hospital Inpatient Installation
Get PDFWork performance in quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to him. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, job satisfaction and work motivation on the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation of dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital and Makassar City Hospital. This type of research is a quantitative study using an observational study with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study were nurses in the inpatient installation of dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital and Makassar City Hospital, totaling 170 respondents. The results showed that there was an effect of workload on the performance of nurses, there was an effect of job satisfaction on the performance of nurses, there was an effect of work motivation on the performance of nurses at dr. Tadjuddin Chalid and Makassar City Hospital. It is suggested to the hospital management that the need for improvement in nursing management, especially the division of duties and working hours of nurses to reduce the workload of nurses so as not to cause work stress that can impact on the performance of nurses, to further increase the work satisfaction of nurses by continuing to carry out fair rewards and punishments sytem, giving motivation, both material and non-material, for nurses who have good performance to be able to maintain their performance while still carrying out their duties based on the applicable rules. For nurses who have poor performance, they can improve their performance by paying more attention to work targets to be achieved for the advancement and image of the organization as well as the quality of services provided to patients
Work Fatigue Determination of Nurses in Hospital of Hasanuddin University
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of body mass index (BMI), sleep patterns, working years, physical workload, mental workload, and work time on work fatigue on nurses at Hasanuddin University Hospital Makassar. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design with a sample size of 56 people. Sampling using a simple random sampling method. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire. Bodyweight is measured by weight scales, body temperature is measured by microtoice, and physical workload is measured by a pulse oximeter, which is by looking at the pulse of the nurse before and after work. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between Body Mass Index (BMI) on work fatigue (p = 0.001), there is an effect of sleep patterns on work fatigue (p = 0.019), there is an effect of tenure on work fatigue (p = 0.017), the relationship between physical workload and work fatigue (p = 0.000), there is an effect of mental workload on work fatigue (p = 0.000) and there is an effect of length of work on work fatigue (p = 0.017). The physical workload is the variable with the greatest influence on work fatigue on nurses at Hasanuddin University Hospital Makassar with Exp. (B) = 14,526. The results of this study concluded that there was a significant influence between the Body Mass Index (BMI), sleep patterns, years of work, physical workload, mental workload, and length of work for nurses at Hasanuddin University Hospital Makassar

Identify Potential Dangers of Unsafe Action and Unsafe Conditions with Work Accidents
Get PDFBased on an initial survey of 30 workers, 10 of them stated that they had experienced work accidents. Among them were exposed to heating rolls, exposed to splinters of sawdust, stuck in the machine, and exposed to splashes of chemical liquids. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between unsafe action and unsafe condition with the incidence of work accidents among workers at MnM Center Tanjung Morawa Printing. Methods uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional study approach. The research population was all workers at the MnM Center Tanjung Morawa Printing, totaling 30 people and all of them were used as samples. The analysis of this study used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. Results showed that the p-value for unsafe action (p=0.000) and unsafe condition (p=0.328). Conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between unsafe action and work accidents, there is no relationship between unsafe conditions and work accidents at the MnM Center Tanjung Morawa. It is expected that respondents pay more attention to their actions while working, as well as increased awareness and knowledge of safe work behavior
