Classification of Emotions of Characters in Novels Above the Pen You are Applying for Me by E. Shabila El Raihany and Its Contribution as Teaching Materials in High School (David Krech's Study of Literary Psychology)
Get PDFMoral decline has disturbed society at large as a result of unconsciousness in managing emotions. Therefore, efforts are needed to build a cultured and civilized national identity. This study describes 1) the classification of the emotions of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany, 2) the contribution of the classification of emotions of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany as Indonesian language teaching materials in high school. Data were analyzed by identifying, classifying, analyzing, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that 1) the emotional classification of the character of David Krech is not an emotion that develops independently but dynamically and can form personal integrity, 2) the contribution of the emotional classification of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany as teaching material has been in accordance with the basic competencies that exist in the 2013 Curriculum in SM

Sources of data in this study are informants, documents of informants, informants or the community who provide information about local fishermen's folklore. Other data sources such as. The data collection techniques are observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the process of revealing intermediate values in the three folk tales of fishermen, by using respondents or fishermen and local communities who understand the three folklores to provide data. Comparison of the Effect of Quality of Nursing Work Life Dimensions on Turnover Intention in Private Hospitals and Government Hospitals
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of the dimensions of quality nursing of work life on turnover intention in RSIA Ananda and RSKD Mother and Children Pertiwi. This type of research is a quantitative research using an observational study with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study were nurses who worked at RSIA Ananda as many as 72 nurses who were representatives of private hospital nurses and nurses who worked at RSKD Mother and Children Pertiwi as many as 70 nurses who were representatives of government hospital nurses. The results showed that there was no statistically significant effect of worklife/homelife dimension on turnover intention at RSIA Ananda (p=0.239) and RSKDIA Pertiwi (p=0.055), there was no statistically significant effect of work design dimension on turnover intention at RSIA Ananda. (p=0,260) and RSKDIA Pertiwi (p=1,000), there was no statistically significant effect of work context dimension on turnover intention at RSIA Ananda (p=0,093) and RSKDIA Pertiwi (p=1,000), there was a statistically significant effect work world dimension on turnover intention at RSIA Ananda (p = 0.016) and there is no statistically significant effect of work world dimension on turnover intention at RSKDIA Pertiwi (p = 0.684), and work world dimension variables that have an influence on turnover intention at RSIA Ananda (p=0.047). It is suggested to the hospital management to review the situation of the nurse's work environment in order to improve the quality of her work life and commitment to the organization in the hospital and to pay more attention to the fulfillment of the nurse's personal needs

With the obligations within the company, it is expected to reduce the control exercised by managers on the company’s cash flow arrangements. The purpose of the research is to measure the implementation of institutional ownership, asset structure, and company size against debt policy on the food and beverages company was listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. The size that is used consists of institutional ownership percentage, comparison between fixed assets to total assets, natural logarithm of total assets and debt ratio. Analysis tools are used in the research using the SPSS program. Method of determination of samples is sensus sampling where there are 54 observation data. The analysis used in the SPSS program is descriptive analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, multiple linear regression, correlation and determination test, f test, and t-test. As for the results of the research conducted is a regression model already are BLUE and have a specification of goodness fit model. Religiosity and Romanticism in Mandar's Love Poem Text: Stylistic Analysis
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to find the lexical form of religiosity and romanticism contained in the Mandar Sayang-sayang poetry. The type of research used is qualitative research, with qualitative descriptive methods. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection procedure used a literature review procedure, listening method, note-taking technique, and reflective-introspective. The data analysis model used is an interactive model (interactive model). The results of the study found that the lexical containing the meaning of religiosity was found in the verse at the beginning of the text Sayang-sayang Mandar. Meanwhile, the lexical containing the expression of romanticism is found in almost all stanzas of the Mandar Sayang-Sayang text. The Mandar affectionate poetry is an expression of religiosity and the character of mutual love for fellow Mandar people and for all human beings in the world

Therefore, it is important to continue the study of forensic linguistics. This study aims to describe the veracity language in the special fugitive scandal. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research design that focuses on analyzing the level of veracity in language in the special fugitive scandal using John Olsson's Statement Analysis in Linguistic (SAL) model. The data of this research are oral data, namely forensic text narratives contained in talk shows about special fugitives. The data source in this research is the Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) talk show. The main theory used in this research is the study of forensic linguistics which is specified in John Olsson's theory of veracity language. The results of this research indicate that veracity in language in special fugitive scandals tends to have a high level of veracity
The Effect of Brand Image on Loyalty through General Patient Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable in Makassar City Hospital
Get PDFLoyalty is a critical component of success in today's corporate environment. Loyal clients might indirectly aid in the promotion of services to individuals in their immediate vicinity. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of brand image on general patient loyalty at Makassar City Hospital. This is a quantitative study that combines an observational design with a cross sectional study design. The sample for this research consisted of 187 nurses working in the Makassar City Hospital's outpatient department. The findings indicated that although brand image had a direct influence on patient loyalty, it had no effect on satisfaction-based loyalty. It is recommended that hospital management develop various marketing strategies to promote the hospital's existing health services, pay close attention to patient wait times because the average patient complains about doctors who are frequently late, and pay close attention to various brands or health services such as superior products. As a result, it has become a point of differentiation for the health services supplied by other institutions
The challenging journey to floating: How did both the steering of the transition and COVID19 transform the domestic Forex Market in Africa?
Get PDFThis article investigates the impacts of transition process steering and the COVID19 pandemic on domestic forex market behavior. To do so, we conducted a comparative analysis based on various GARCH family models and the case of four African countries which adopted different transition paths from fixed to intermediary and/or floating regimes. Our main empirical result is that smooth and gradual transition allows for a better adaptation of the domestic market actors, resulting in improved liquidity management and shocks absorption than countries with forced regime switch. We also notice a significant fallout from the COVID19 pandemic on economies where the regime transition was abrupt as the domestic forex market became more sensitive to endogenous factors. Finally, we presented critical policy implications and some suggestions for future studies
The Effectiveness of Ethyl Acetate Extract of Sungkai Leaves (Peronema Canescens Jack.) Against Blood Glucose Levels in Alloxan-Induced Male Mice
Get PDFThis research aims to test antidiabetic using alloxan induction on mice test animals. The type of research used is experimental, which includes sampling, sample determination. Extract preparation with ethyl acetate solvent, extract characteristics test and simplicia, extract and simplicia screening test. Antidiabetic testing was carried out using male mice as test animals. Screening tests for the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, steroids, and glycosides for the anti-diabetic test of Sungkai leaves were carried out using alloxan induction in mice. With initial KGD 90-120 mg/dl. Extract concentrations were 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg with negative control CMC Na 0.5% and metformin positive control 65 mg/kg. The most effective decrease in mice blood glucose on days 3, 7, 10 and 14 was at an extract concentration of 300 mg/kg bw with a decrease of 114 mg/dl. Based on the results of the ANOVA statistic Fcount 208.813> Ftable 2.87 so H0 is rejected, there is a significant decrease in blood sugar in mice. The results of the anti-diabetic test of the ethyl acetate extract of Sungkai leaves at a dose of 300 mg/kg body weight had an anti-diabetic effect on male mice after alloxan induced on the 14th day with an average of 114 being the most effective in reducing the male mice's KGD
