The Fragments, Run-Ons, and Comma Splices in Selected Types of Paragraph Writing
Writing is a challenge for non-native English writers since the process of transferring the message includes the writers’ writing competence and it is recorded permanently. As a result, the English learners make errors when they lack the writing skill and knowledge. This study aims to reveal the fragments, run-ons, and comma splices in selected types of paragraphs, namely descriptive paragraph, paragraph of logical division of ideas, process paragraph, and comparison-contrast paragraph. The empirical, quantitative approach is used to identify the frequency of each kind of error in the paragraphs written by students of English Department in University of Widya Dharma Pontianak in academic year 2021/2022. To conclude, the errors occur mostly in comparison-contrast paragraphs (37.96%) as there are different ways of organization. Furthermore, the most frequent kind of error is fragment (66.67%), which is missing an independent clause (41.67%). This is due to the students’ experiencing incomplete thought or their having an afterthought following their previous finished sentence. Lastly, the paragraph of logical divisions of ideas has the least errors (13.89%) and the kind of error that rarely occurs is run-on (9.26%)

The development of rural tourism at the national level has been initiated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which supports the empowerment of rural communities. This provides new motivation for tourist villages to continuously strive to develop their villages, including Kassi Tourist Village in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province. One of the challenges faced by this village is the difficulty in marketing it due to the lack of tourism package planning, even though it has substantial potential, especially in the field of agro-tourism development. This study aims to identify the tourism components present in Kassi Tourist Village, Jeneponto Regency, in order to identify the potential of agro-tourism as a main attraction in Kassi Tourist Village. Through an analysis of raw materials such as palm wine (tuak) and coffee, which are the primary products of agro-tourism, they can become unique attractions for visitors to the village. Furthermore, this study also involves traditional beverage management activities. The research methodology used to achieve these objectives is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study suggest that introducing traditional beverages such as tuak and coffee sarru as the main attraction for visitors in Kassi Tourist Village during their activities in the village, from harvesting to final product production ready for sale, can complement each other in the development of agro-tourism. These findings can serve as a reference for travel agencies, especially in the development of tourism packages, which have not yet been created by existing travel operators in Jeneponto Regency and Makassar

The aim of the research was to determine the description of factors that influence early marriage in Kati Maju village, Ketambe subdistrict, Southeast Aceh district. This type of research uses observation methods related to early marriage. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive techniques, where all data is obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The research results that cause early marriage are economic factors based on the economic needs that are most felt to be urgent in the family. Parents marry off their young children because parents have low awareness of the importance of their children's education, so they prefer to stop their children from going to school because they think it is a waste of time and money. And social factors assume that unmarried children are a burden on the family and must bear shame. It is recommended that health workers provide education and outreach to families regarding the impact of early marriage on their reproductive health
