    Modern Global Art Groups' Effects on Graphic Design

    The modern era in defining the features of formal and expressive construction and achieves its functional and aesthetic goals. Hence, the research aimed to clarify the formal and organizational variables of graphic designers and their expressive performance and to compare their impact on the methods of artistic movements in the modern era. The research was based on the descriptive analytical approach of a group of samples, from which it came out with a set of results and conclusions, namely: Modern arts contributed to finding new performance standards for the aesthetic process in design, which was limited to the aesthetics of drawing and its techniques to express it to the techniques of collage and photo montage towards expressive metaphor using previously untouched materials. Achieving the formal organization of the elements with the background, whether through mathematical and engineering logic or as a coincidence industry, led to a transformation in the design process and the emergence of a new spatial relationship that directly affected a clear transformation of the design

    Ethnographic Study of Symbolic Meanings in the Ma'nene' Toraja Ritual Series

    In an ethnographic study of the "Toraja Ma'nene' Ritual," the Toraja people follow the Aluk Todolo beliefs which involve symbols, religion, and cultural preservation. The Ma'nene' ritual is a funeral ceremony that honors ancestors and is related to symbols that have meaning in the life of the Torajan people. The Toraja people believe in the Aluk Todolo belief, which combines elements of local beliefs and elements of Christianity. The Ma'nene' ritual is understood as a way to respect ancestors, care for them, and preserve culture. The traditional meaning, rooted in the Aluk Todolo belief, has experienced a shift to a modern meaning that emphasizes love, gratitude, respect and care for ancestors. This study reveals the complexity of interactions between tradition, religion and cultural preservation in Toraja society. The Ma'nene' ritual is a symbol of changes in meaning and implementation that reflects the combination of Aluk Todolo beliefs and the influence of Christianity, with the aim of preserving cultural heritage

    This paper examines the feminism of Adrienne Rich, focusing on how she subverts patriarchal ideas and themes in a few of her poems. Rich's criticism of gender roles, power relationships, and the repressive aspects of patriarchy can be found by looking at her poetry through feminist lens. Rich effectively promotes gender equality by challenging patriarchal norms through the use of language, imagery, and poetic methods.Rich's poems under study are: ‘‘Tear Gas’’, ‘‘Paula Becker to Clara Westhoff’’, ‘‘Snapshot of a Daughter in – Law’’, ‘‘Diving into the Wreck’’ ‘‘Power’’, and ‘‘Rape’’.The shape as well as themes of Rich's poetry prove a new style of American writing poetry. Rich refuses the rule that is put by male on female writing because she wants to express her voice and dream. Rich fights the patriarchy that is imposed on women and represses them for ages. Women are oppressed and their rights are violated by males society.Rich has used her poetry to defend women and has released them from the oppression of patriarchal society . She dares to write as a woman. Rich Introduces herself as a female who suffers in a patriarchal society. Rich is aware limited of language to transferring woman's voices, so she searched for an efficient device to transfer the experience and suffering of women

    The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation of village fund management and the level of community participation in improving community welfare in Tenggela Village, Tilango District. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that in the process of realizing each stage of financial management, management is still found in accordance with the provisions of the regulation. This can be seen from the planning process to the reporting stage which is often not timely, so this also affects the final reporting and accountability carried out by the Village Head. From the results of the study, it was found that one of the influencing factors was the quality of village apparatus resources that were less competent and the performance and discipline that needed to be considered and improved considering that the village financial management process was the most important thing for the village itself. In addition, the role of the sub-district government which lacks space to be involved in overseeing the financial management process is because all stages of financial management have been carried out by the relevant agencies

This is part of the expectation that they will be ready to compete in the workforce

    Internet service provider companies play a crucial role to internet usage. This industry is facing the conditions of hyper competition, so that the profitability growth tends to stagnate and even decline. Refer to the background, the study is aimed to investigate the influence reputation and partnership strategy on business performance of the internet service provider companies in Indonesia. This was a verification study on internet service provider companies in Indonesia as the unit of analysis, with the observation unit was the management of that companies. Samples were taken from 100 respondents. The research data was collected in a cross-section/one-shoot time horizon, in 2023. Data processing and hypothesis testing used Partial Least Square. The results of hypothesis testing show that reputation and partnership strategy have an effect on business performance of internet service provider companies, and partnership strategy has a more dominant influence compared to reputation.  It is concluded that to achieve the targeted business performance of the internet service provider companies in Indonesia, it must be support by strengthening the partnership strategy and improve reputation  so that it is expected to support growth in business performance

    Cost of Equity Capital and the Determinant: A Study in Industrial Firms in Indonesia

    This research aims to analyse the effects of accounting information asymmetry, market risk, audit quality, and company size on cost of equity capital on industrial companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021. Data analysis techniques consist of descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression analysis method. The test results show that market risk and company size has positive and negative effect on the cost of equity capital respectively, while accounting information asymmetry and audit quality does not affect the cost of equity capital. The limitation in this study is that the measurement of audit quality variables is only obtained by the standard of public accounting firm, and there are still 62,7 percent of other factors outside the independent variable which can affect the value of the company’s cost of equity capital
