Psycho-Wellness Blueprint: Crafting Personalized Mental Strategies for Physical Health Optimization
This study looks at how a new method, the Psycho-Wellness Blueprint affects improvement in mental and physical health results. The study uses a full method that combines mental plans made for each person's needs. In a study with 300 people, the research used statistics and math to look at how mental health (measured by PHQ-9 scores), weight levels (BMI) moved together along with mindfulness. The results show big connections, showing that losing more weight is connected to a large drop in feeling sad. The research shows how joining different approaches can help make overall health better
The Influence of English Learning Material and Learning Style on Students’ Speaking Skill
This research aimed to find out the types of students’ learning styles, to investigate the appropriateness of teaching material with students' learning styles and to find out the influence of teacher’s learning material and students' learning styles to stuents’ speaking skills. This research used Quantitative Descriptive. The data were obtained by using questionnaires, observation checklist and test. The subjects of this research were 30 students who studied in the Seventh Grade of SMP Pesantren IMMIM Makassar, selected by using a Random Sampling Technique.The findings of this research revealed that the types of students’ learning styles were kinesthetic, (16 students 53%), auditory, (12 students 40%) and visual, (2 students 7%), As for the appropriateness of teaching material, it was not appropriate because the teacher used learning material for visual (4 items out of 7 items 57%), audio (3 items out of 6 items 50%), and kinesthetic (2 items out of 4 items 50%). Moreover, students’ learning styles and teacher’s learning material has significance influence toward speaking skill (Ftest 18.9> Ftable 3.09). Students’ learning styles has significance influence towards speaking skill (Ttest > Ttable2.343) and teacher’s learning material has no significance influence toward students’ speaking skills (Ttest 0.808<Ttable2.343). Therefore, it can be concluded that the students’ learning styles were mostly kinesthetic and auditory. The learning material used by the teacher was not appropriate because the teacher's learning material was mostly visual
The Relationship between Intellectual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence with Students' Communication Skills
The research aims to the relationship between intellectual intelligence and students' communication skills, the relationship between emotional intelligence and students' communication skills, the relationship between intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence with students' communication skills. The research method is quantitative with a correlational design. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis, normality, linearity and hypothesis testing. The research results show there is a positive and significant relationship between intellectual intelligence and communication skills of students at the Faculty of Education, Gorontalo State University with a coefficient value of 0.604 or 60.4%. There is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the communication skills of students at the Faculty of Education, Gorontalo State University with a coefficient value of 0.665 or 66.5%. There is a positive and significant relationship between intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence together with the communication skills of students at the Faculty of Education, Gorontalo State University with a coefficient value of 0.728 or 72.8%. For this reason, it is recommended the Faculty of Education is expected to further improve students' intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence through scientific forum activities which can improve students' communication skills so that they become capital when working later; students can further improve their intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence and improve their ability to communicate well in order to create good communication relationships
HIV-Related Knowledge and Health Care Seeking Barriers among Transgender Individuals in a Megacity of Bangladesh: A Cross-sectional Study
The prevalence of HIV among Transgender is 1% in Bangladesh while only 0.9% in Dhaka City.Being minority group barriers faced by transgenders for healthcare-seeking are major public health concerns. Thus, the study aims to find out the
HIV-related knowledge and health care seeking barriers among transgender individuals in dhaka city. This was a cross-sectional study purposively selecting 135 transgender from Drop-in-center and three Hijra pollis of Dhaka City. Data was collected using a semi-structured questionnaire containing a Likert scale regarding HIV-related knowledge. Majority were professional sex sellers including 54.10% having irregular sexual clients while 48.9% had been engaged in sex work for more than 10 years. Although more than half (57%) had good HIV-related knowledge. Only one-third (37.30%) sometimes used barrier method and more than half (58%) had knowledge of HIV symptoms. The barriers were negligence (16%), inconvenient location (12.43%), shame (13.45%), judgment (11.68%), fear (7.60%) and long waiting time (8.10%). Transgenders from Drop-in-center had higher HIV-related knowledge compared to ones from hijra pollis [t (95% CI)=.168, p<.001]. Those having HIV-related higher knowledge did not feel the necessity of isolated health corners [t (95% CI)= -3.799, p<.001]. Although DIC provides healthcare services, but existing facilities barriers need to be addressed to extend health services
The Influence of Financial Literacy, Locus of Control, Government Support and Access to Capital on Financial Behavior in Business Sustainability in MSMEs in Sambas Regency
This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, locus of control, government support, and access to capital on the financial behavior of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sambas Regency, Indonesia. The objective is to understand how these factors contribute to the sustainability and growth of MSMEs in the region. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving a survey of 100 MSME owners in Sambas Regency. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis to determine the relationship between financial literacy, locus of control, government support, access to capital, and financial behavior. The results indicate that financial literacy, locus of control, and access to capital have a significant positive impact on the financial behavior of MSME owners. Government support also plays a crucial role in enhancing financial behavior, although its impact is comparatively moderate. Collectively, these factors are essential for the financial sustainability and success of MSMEs in Sambas Regency
The Effect of Board Diversity and Financial Stability on Financial Performance of Banking Sector in Indonesian Stock Exchange
The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between financial stability, diversity on corporate boards, and financial performance for firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that are involved in the banking industry. Associative explanatory research is what this study is based on. For studies that rely on secondary sources, researchers often peruse audited financial records made available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange's website. In this study, 190 research samples were collected using a purposive sampling strategy. The research criteria were banking firms that had an initial public offering (IPO) before 2016. The observation period fell between 2018 and 2022. The EViews version 12 application was utilized for the quantitative data analysis. According to the study's findings, financial stability positively affects a company's financial performance, but board diversity—as defined by the percentage of women on the board—has no impact on the same
Ability to Write Procedure Texts with Problem Finding Models and Group
The purpose of this study is to determine how well Indonesians can write how-to books utilizing the problem-finding method and groups. SMAN 11 Pinrang was the location of the investigation. This study is literature review. The study discusses that changes in students' cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities are the results of learning, which occurs as a result of their interactions with their environments. Writing is the imaginative act of putting one's thoughts into written words for the goal of persuasion, education, or recreation. Increased IQ, more effort and ingenuity, more bravery, and a stronger will and ability to learn are just a few of the advantages. One definition of narrative is "a genre of writing that aims to create, narrate, and string together human actions within an event as they unfold over time." To write well, one must be able to strike the right tone, arrange their thoughts into a coherent whole, avoid ambiguity in their word choice, sentence construction, and examples, and show that they have a firm grasp on the material at hand
Issues of the 2024 Presidential Candidates in Online News Texts: Critical Discourse Analysis of the Teun A Van Dijk Model
The discourse on the 2024 presidential candidate issue is a discourse formed by the practice of power which implies certain goals. Therefore, media discourse that reports on the 2024 presidential candidate issue is an issue or problem that contains critical languages or expressions. This research is important to find out the purpose or intention of the presidential candidate issue which reports on popular figures who have a major influence on social change and the progress of the country in the future. The purpose of this study is to analyze news texts about presidential candidates using the text dimensions of the Teun A. van Dijk model in the form of macro structure, super structure, and micro structure which are modified with the Jufri model. The type of method used is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive design that describes aspects of the text dimensions of the discourse structure, the data used is written text on the online news media CNN Indonesia, Jawapos.com, and Kompas.com. The results of this study are to describe the description and interpretation of the aspects of text dimensions in the form of macro structure, super structure, and micro structure which are then explained in the form of actions or actions that have a specific purpose. This research is useful for making a theoretical contribution and providing a conceptual overview that can inspire researchers or students who focus on the study of critical discourse analysis and can be implemented in critical discourse courses
Societal Reactions to Social Movements in Elections in Asian Countries: An Overview of Democracy
This study was conducted with the intention of presenting a comprehensive picture of the ways in which voters and political parties in Asia have reacted to social movements during the course of election cycles. In addition to statistical analysis, we made use of other research methods such as literature reviews, case studies, surveys, and in-depth interviews to arrive at our conclusions. It was found that social movements have had a substantial influence on both the political rhetoric and the results of elections in a number of Asian nations. It was found that people's responses to social movements are complex and varied, and that these responses change depending on the political and cultural atmosphere at the time. People's perceptions on social movements change depending on the climate at the time. The findings of the study also came to the conclusion that the use of social media and other forms of technology in social movements may have both positive and bad effects on the democratic process. This study highlights the need for more research on the influence of social movements on democratic processes in Asian countries during election times
The Ecranization of Dewi Lestari's Supernova Novel Becomes Rizal Montovani's Supernova Film
This study is descriptive qualitative in nature. 1) What is the nature of the intertextual link between the book and the Supernova film Episode Knight, Princess and Falling Star? and 2) How was the novel adapted for the Supernova film Episode Knight, Princess and Falling Star? This research examined 1) the intertextual link between the book and the Supernova film Episode Knight, Princess and Falling Star, and 2) the process of ecranizing the novel into the Supernova film Episode Knight, Princess, and Shooting Star. This study's data include of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences from the book and movie Supernova Episodes of Knights, Princesses, and Falling Stars. This research uses the books and movie Supernova Episodes of Knights, Princesses, and Falling Stars as its data sources. Reading, recording, visual, note-taking, and library approaches are used to acquire data. Researchers studied the data via data reduction, data display, and conclusion drafting. The findings of the research indicate that the intertextual link between the book and the Supernova film is permutative via comparison, juxtaposition, and comparison. The comparison encompasses topics, characters and their portrayals, location, storyline, and mandate. The alignment of character and characterisation, as well as the narrative style. The book Supernova by Dewi Lestari serves as the hypogram for the Supernova film directed by Rizal Mantovani, so that the film undergoes an adjustment known as innovation
