Whorl patterns are more likely to be found on finger IV with the rate of 15.04% and rarely seen on finger V (7.4%) in all three ethnic groups (Thai, Kinh, H’Mong). The Kinh ethnic group has a higher rate of Whorl pattern than the other two groups. Moreover, the distribution of Whorl patterns is higher on the right hand than the left hand. The frequency of Whorl patterns on fingertips of all 3 ethnic groups follows the following sequence: Wc> Ws> Wdl> Wcp
Sampling Assistance Using the Poct Cholesterol Tool for Patients with Diabetes Mellitus in the Working Area of Puskesmas Ome
Diabetes has now become the seventh cause of death in all age groups in Indonesia. There is a tendency for non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus (DM) to increase. This is due to unhealthy lifestyle behaviors that continue to develop in society. DM patients have the potential to suffer various complications if their glucose levels are not controlled. The rapid pace of technology has caused many laboratory equipment manufacturers to create a tool that can be used by both the health community and the non-health community. However, in preparing samples for examination, a phlebotomy technique is needed. Poor phlebotomy technique will affect the examination results issued by the portable device. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and health checks related to sampling using a poct cholesterol tool for people with Diabetes Mellitus in the Work Area of the Ome Health Center. The methods used in this community service are lectures, question and answer and health checks, practicum (demonstrations), posttests and monitoring evaluations which are carried out 2 weeks later. The results of this community service resulted in the ability to use the POCT tool independently
Adolescent Mental Health and Physical Activity During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Padang City
The Covid-19 pandemic, a rapidly spreading infectious disease, limits one's activities and reduces physical activity as a result of the adoption of social isolation to reduce the risk of transmission. As the Covid-19 pandemic spreads, staying physically active is crucial to maintaining mental wellness. This study aims to investigate the relationship between physical exercise and adolescent mental health in the Covid-19 epidemic. This research uses a cross-sectional design and is quantitative. Using a stratified random sampling technique, 246 persons were sampled at SMPN Padang City. The Self Reporting Questionnaire-20 (SRQ-20) and Physical Activity Questionnaire-Adolescent (PAQ-A) questionnaires were distributed online using google forms for this study's collection of physical activity and mental health data. The data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. Adolescent mental health was shown to be significantly correlated with physical exercise (p-value = 0.000; OR 2.660; CI 1.568-4.515). Teenagers are advised to enhance their physical activity levels and learn about physical activities that can help prevent mental health difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to help prevent problems
Initiatives to Involve Women in Environmentally Friendly Economic Projects that Promote Sustainable Development in Iraq
Women have an important role in developing the economic sector around the world in general and Iraq in particular. Women have an important role in promoting the path of sustainable development and in building a next generation capable of creating decent work and developing other economic sectors. The research problem was crystallized by asking: What are the most important initiatives for economic projects that have participated? Where is the woman? To what extent are women empowered and what is their role in promoting sustainable development goals? The aim of the research was to know the extent of women’s empowerment and their role in environmentally friendly economic projects that enhance the path of sustainable development in Iraq, and to highlight the most important initiatives undertaken by the Central Bank of Iraq, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and the national strategy, and to update the weaknesses and strengths in economic projects that diminished the status of women. As for the research hypothesis, women play an important role in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development through financing and opportunities, while the most important conclusions were the weakness of the role of Iraqi women in the field of environmentally friendly economic projects, and if they exist, they are not at the level of ambition. The most important recommendations were to contain unemployment rates amongWomen in the government sector and the private sector through enhanced job opportunities for production and productivity and environmental, social and legal protection systems for women

Genomic Analysis to Determine Genetic Risk Factors in Degenerative Diseases in the Elderly: Challenges and Opportunities in the Genomic Era
This study aims to identify and analyze genetic risk factors associated with degenerative diseases in old age, by utilizing advanced genomic approaches. Amid advances in genomic technology, this research details the challenges and opportunities faced in understanding the genetic basis of complex degenerative diseases. The study methodology involved analysis of complete genome data from an elderly cohort that had been collected over several years. Mapping of genetic variations associated with degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and cardiovascular disease, will be carried out to identify genetic polymorphisms that may act as risk factors. The main challenges of this research include managing large and complex data, interpreting complex genomic results, and understanding the interactions of genes and environmental factors. On the other hand, the opportunity for this research lies in the potential for developing genome-based therapies tailored to an individual's genetic profile, enabling a more precise approach in the prevention and treatment of degenerative diseases. This research contributes valuable insights into the understanding of genetic risk factors for degenerative diseases in the elderly. While challenges in genomic analysis persist, opportunities in the development of customized therapies and a better understanding of gene-environment interactions pave the way for improvements in the prevention and treatment of degenerative diseases in the aging population. Ethical and policy implications must also be seriously considered to ensure the safe and beneficial application of genomic information in the context of public health
