    The diversity of processed cassava products reflects its important role in daily life and the diversity of Indonesian culinary delights. Therefore, making appropriate tools is very necessary to support the production development process, such as making cassava chip mixing machines. The cassava chip mixer can be started by detailing the challenges faced in the process of making traditional cassava chips. Factors such as time efficiency, consistency of results, and human involvement may be issues that need to be addressed. Seeing this problem gave rise to the aim of making a cassava chip mixing machine with a variety of stirrers and being able to find out the productivity of the cassava chip mixing machine. This tool uses a 180 watt electric motor with a rotational speed of 1400 rpm as the main mover and is reduced by a gearbox with a ratio of 1: 60, resulting in a slow rotation of 23 rpm in the mixing process and is equipped with 2 variations of stirrer leaves. After testing, the results showed that the tool functioned well and could stir the cassava chips evenly and there were no lumps of spices and reduced fragments in the stirred chips

    Fishermen are one of the livelihoods of the people on the shores of Lake Toba. Currently, many fishermen use wooden boats as a means of transportation to catch fish. As time goes by and the high maintenance costs for ships made of wood, there is an alternative by using fiberglass Reinforced Plastic as the main material for making ships. In this research, a 1 GT fishing boat made from fiberglass Reinforced Plastic was simulated, where the calculation used a method, namely the trend curve approach, with a displacement of 1,609 tons and an engine power of 10 HP with a speed of 9 Knots. And the result is that a 1 GT fishing vessel has the main dimensions: LOA = 6.6 m, B = 1.2 m, H = 1,5 m, and T = 0.48. Making miniatures using PVC, with dimensions LOA = 66 cm, B = 12 cm, H = 15 cm. With the results of this research, it is hoped that suitable fishing boat designs can be created on Lake Toba

    Road is one of the means of land transportation that has an important role in human life, especially for economic and socio-cultural growth to support national development. To facilitate community mobility so as to provide good service in accordance with the required capacity, if there is road damage, it will hinder community activities, causing accidents. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of damage and the value of the pavement index of the Sudirman General road, so as to determine the condition value of the Sudirman General road section based on two predetermined methods. The methods used are Bina Marga method and SDI (Surface Distress Index) method. The types of damage found on the 2 km Jendral Sudirman road include potholes, grain release, crocodile skin cracks, and patches. In the Bina Marga method, a priority order value of 5 is obtained, which means that the road is in periodic maintenance. In the SDI method, the road condition value is 25, meaning that the road is in good condition. After calculating the results of the research on the condition of the Jendral Sudirman road section with the two methods, it turns out to get almost the same results and values, namely the condition of the road section is still in good condition but requires maintenance so as not to worsen the condition of the road

    Road construction in Indonesia uses a lot of road construction with rigid pavement construction, the various types of cement brands used are believed to have a big influence on the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete pavement. To improve the performance of rigid pavement, it is necessary to test and evaluate variations in the cement composition used. This test will examine the effect of cement variations on the characteristics of rigid pavement, including strength, durability and other properties. In this test the author used cylinder dimensions of 10 x 20 cm, totaling 15 cylinders for each type of cement and block dimensions of 15 x 15 x 60, totaling 3 blocks for each type of cement. Effect of Cement Type on Concrete Compressive Strength Test results show that Red and White Cement has the highest compressive strength at 28 days compared to other types of cement. This shows that this type of cement can produce concrete with better compressive strength. Effect of Cement Type on Concrete Flexural Strength: Dynamix cement provides the best flexural strength results, indicating that this cement is more effective in producing concrete with the ability to withstand higher bending loads

    With the development of an increasingly fast and dynamic era, people have to live more quickly and efficiently in doing everything in their lives. This means that the process of borrowing campus facilities must also provide fast and efficient services to students and campus employees. The problem faced in this research is the inefficient process of borrowing campus facilities where we have to come to the main building to ask permission to borrow campus facilities that do not know whether they are accepted or not. The results of this research are intended to make borrowing campus facilities easier. To solve this problem, a website-based campus facility loan application was designed. This application is made using the main programming language PHP and uses the Laravel framework and MySQL database management. The test results show that this application is able to increase the speed of borrowing with a significantly reduced approval process time compared to manual methods and provide loan reports that are useful for monitoring the use of facilities at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis

    Manually cutting in welding workshops has disadvantages such as inaccuracy, low cut straightness, high gas consumption, and large operational costs. Previous studies created a 6 inch automatic pipe cutting tool, but the low rotation problem still exists. This research designs a pipe cutting tool using a torch to improve cut quality. Based on the analysis of 2 inch pipes at different rpm, the results will be applied to 3-6 inch pipes with single phase AC electric motors. This final project includes redesigning tools, adding transmission systems, and adjustments to produce quality cuts on pipes of various sizes, with the aim of increasing the efficiency and quality of operator work

    BEM is an abbreviation for "Student Executive Body", which is an organization or group of students at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic. BEM has several activities and interests, one of which is in community social assistance or what is called fundraising. When collecting donations, BEM members still collect manually, and often BEM members collect donations at red light intersections or in other places. In this research, the author discusses the design of a Fundraising Application for Community Social Assistance, aimed at making it easier for BEM members to carry out the process of collecting donations. Based on the results of testing at two stages, namely on BEM members and users (raisers and donors), the results were that this fundraising application for community social assistance was very helpful in various aspects. For BEM members, this application makes it very easy for BEM members to raise funds and manage the amount of incoming donations. Meanwhile, for donors, this application greatly simplifies the process of viewing fundraising information and making donations online. And for admins, this application also makes it easier to provide information related to fundraising and managing incoming donations

    Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tugas jaga sesuai prosedur yang sudah ditetapkan perusahaan pelayaran maupun aturan internasional, memastikan apakah aturan tersebut sesuai dengan peraturan pencegahan tubrukan di laut/P2TL serta proses dan hambatan saat melakukan dinas jaga. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah tugas jaga tersebut sudah sesuai prosedur yang sudah ditetapkan aturan internasional, apakah aturan tersebut sudah diterapkan sesuai dengan peraturan pencegahan tubrukan di laut/P2TL dan bagaimana proses dan hambatan saat melakukan dinas jaga anjungan KN Rupat saat berlayar di Selat Rupat. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni tahun 2024 di KN Rupat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini addalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara kepada narasumber seperti nakhoda dan awak kapal di KN Rupat serta melakukan studi pustaka berupa penerapan pelaksanaan dinas jaga untuk melengkapi data yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada proses dinas jaga, prinsip dan pedoman yang ada dalam kode STCW yang diterapkan oleh KN Rupat, penerapan Peraturan Pencegahan Tubrukan di Laut (P2TL) dapat dilihat dalam pembagian tugas jaga dan penggunaan aturan 14 saat kondisi kapal berpapasan dan proses dan hambatan saat berlayar ke KN Rupat yaitu kapal hampir berpapasan, daun kemudi kapal rusak dan anak buah kapal tidak standby. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwasnnya pelaksanaan dinas jaga anjungan KN Rupat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan peraturan P2TL
