    This research aims to find out everything that happens in the process of foreign crew change at the Immigration Agency at PT.Snepac Shipping. The acquisition of data obtained based on observations in the field. In the management of foreign crew change, the agent gets power of attorney from the ship owner to take care of all the needs of the crew. The agent will prepare all the documents required by the foreign crew at the time of sign off and sign on, service while the crew is on the ship, pay attention to the crew documents on board, prepare all crew needs such as documents that must be submitted to the Immigration agency and take care of all the needs needed by foreign crews while in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques by conducting field observations, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at PT Snepac Shipping Batam. The result of this research is that the crew change procedure for foreign crews at PT Snepac Shipping Batam agenti is still not going well, characterized by obstacles such as, requests for crew changes by ship owners delivered suddenly, so that the agents who serve the crew change have a short time.     The problems discussed in this research are related to optimizing coal loading and unloading activities at the Teluk Bayur port of PT Adhi Guna Putera, Padang branch. The main objective of this research is to determine coal loading and unloading activities at Teluk Bayur Port, as well as identifying the obstacles found and solutions that can be implemented during the loading and unloading activity process. The method used is descriptive qualitative which involves observation, interviews and documentation in order to obtain accurate and real data. The research results show that natural factors such as rainy weather or storms cause coal to stick to the upper port when it is loaded onto trucks and equipment damage can hamper loading and unloading activities, because it takes quite a long time to repair. Furthermore, optimizing coal loading and unloading activities at Teluk Bayur port consists of natural factors, by carrying out regular inspections at the station and paying attention to the natural atmosphere and routinely checking and maintaining coal loading and unloading equipment

    Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengering Sepatu Berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT)

    The development of internet of things (IoT) technology has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including shoe hygiene maintenance. This study aims to design and develop an IoT-based automatic shoe dryer system designed to optimize the shoe drying process efficiently and safely. The device consists of a drying box equipped with a DHT22 sensor to monitor temperature and humidity, an ultraviolet lamp, a heater as a heating element, and four DC fans for cooling. The device's operation is controlled via a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller connected to the Blynk application, enabling real-time control and monitoring through the internet. The test results show that this device can dry sneakers within 2 hours with a power consumption of 0.380 kWh, incurring an electricity cost of IDR 513. This device not only accelerates the drying process but also preserves the quality of the shoes, making it suitable for use in unfavorable weather conditions such as rain or nighttime

    In carrying out the production process, the induction motor will be used continuously so it is prone to interference. The disturbances that often occur in 3- phase induction motors include overcurrent and overload. Several components of the protection system commonly used in induction motors are thermal overload relays. Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) is an electronic device to secure overloads based on temperature (Thermal) which has a relay to disconnect a control circuit such as direct online and start. delta. Meanwhile, the Electronic over current relay (EOCR) is an electrical component that functions to limit the current flowing to the motor. Based on the advantages and disadvantages between TOR and EOCR, the surface aerator motor control panel which previously used TOR was upgraded to EOCR in stages starting from EN8, EN9 and EN2M. with the aim of providing more protection to the motor to minimize damage such as burnt stator coils. The use of EOCR is more effective for protecting a motor control system, because it has more protection features than TOR. EOCR also has a display that displays the current value for each phase so it is easy to find out if there is an imbalance in one of the phases. EOCR also has a fail safe mode which can be used to provide more protection to the motor if the EOCR malfunction

    This research aims to investigate the failure of axle shafts in sugar cane transport trains at PT Madubaru PG-PS Madukismo, Yogyakarta. Axle shaft failure is a serious issue that can lead to accidents and disrupt production processes. In this study, we designed the distribution of axle shaft loads, determined the maximum acceptable load limits, identified critical zones on the axle shafts, and selected the most efficient and safe materials for axle shaft construction. The research method involved data collection, modeling, and analysis using Ansys software. The results indicate that the axle shafts failed due to fatigue life, and ST 70 material is more efficient than AISI 4340 with an increase in the fatigue life value of ST 70 material by 0.76% compared to AISI 4340 material and an increase in the safety factor value of ST 70 material by 0.11% compared to AISI 434 material. The recommendation for replacing the axle shaft material is ST 70

    The phenomenon of mass layoffs and falling stock prices of Indonesian startups when they have just conducted an Initial Public Offering (IPO) at a time of increasing startup growth during the pandemic, assumes the occurrence of a bubble burst phenomenon in Indonesian startups. This study tries to investigate the phases of the emergence of a speculation bubble in the startup PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk by using the Kindleberger-Minsky model on GoTo. This research is qualitative research and uses library research methods by collecting data from various written sources such as books, articles, journals and existing research. The results of this study indicate that GoTo does not meet the bubble burst criteria based on the theory of bubble burst emergence patterns by Kindleberger-Minsky and there are no typical signs of speculation bubbles as seen in historical bubbles

    This seminar is an activity carried out to help owners, managers and operators of MSMEs, students and the general public who are interested in developing MSMEs. The seminar method was chosen because it is more effective in delivering and receiving material. The objectives to be achieved in making this final assignment are determining the human resources needed, determining the task specifications and task descriptions of the committee, determining the speaker criteria, determining participants, motivating the cooperation of the event committee, finding out the report on making the seminar and calculating costs. In the technical aspect of work in carrying out these activities starting from the project preparation stage, project implementation, project completion and project reporting. In carrying out the seminar, the required committee consists of 15 people with different duties and responsibilities. This event was attended by 110 participants from various backgrounds. The speaker of this seminar is Rahmad Hidayat who has 5 years of entrepreneurial experience, the businesses he is involved in are Soymond Milk, Santuy Crackers and Warung Kopi Mahsiswa, Pekanbaru. In carrying out the seminar, the costs incurred were IDR 3.560.000.
