Evaluasi Program Kuliah Umum MICE 2022
The MICE industry has grown rapidly in recent years. This concept was discussed at the 2022 MICE Public Lecture held for new students. However, in this student's practice there are several problems such as the program division and marketing division. The purpose of this qualitative research is to explain the implementation of the 2022 MICE Public Lecture program and explain the evaluation of the 2022 MICE Public Lecture program. The results show that the implementation of the 2022 MICE Public Lecture program requires students to have skills. Because this is related to new student satisfaction, including using technology to make activities more effective. Meanwhile, the evaluation of the 2022 MICE Public Lecture program lies in the program division when creating the TOR. Also the marketing division is not yet optimal in selling hampers to support the public lecture budget.

The concept of a Halal Tourism Village involves the integration of halal tourism principles into a village destination, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of this new paradigm, which may be unfamiliar to many. This study proposed Maqashid Sharia, a framework used to understand and implement the principles of Islamic Sharia that ensures the well-being and benefit of humanity as an indicator to analyze the readiness of particular village tourism destination to become halal village tourism destination. Maqashid Sharia refers to the goals or objectives of Islamic law (Sharia). This study conducted at Watesjaya tourism village, a tourism village destination in Bogor West Java that was nominated among the top-20 Indonesian Tourism Village Awards in 2021. Although the majority of its residents are Muslim and practicing Islamic sharia in all aspects of their lives, their familiarity with the concept of halal tourism is still limited. To assess and identify the potential for halal tourism development, Focus Group Discussions and observations were conducted, guided by the principles of Maqashid Sharia. These principles serve as halal indicators for developing Watesjaya into a halal tourism destination. The study found that, out of the six Maqashid Sharia indicators, the indicator related to preserving life has not yet been fulfilled. This research provides recommendations for enhancing the supporting components of the Maqashid Sharia indicators that are currently unmet, thereby ensuring that all indicators are addressed. Ultimately, this would enable Watesjaya to be recognized as a halal tourism village destination that is accommodating to both domestic and international tourists
Strategi Perencanaan Program Sponsorship untuk Meningkatkan Efektivitas Pameran oleh PT Nusaraya Asa Pameran (ASA Exhibitions)
Sponsorship program planning is a key element in the success of an exhibition. This study aims to explore the sponsorship planning strategy implemented by PT Nusaraya Asa Exhibition (ASA Exhibitions) in the context of the 2024 Indonesia Beauty Influencers Summit event. Through a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods, the research results show that the planning process involves several stages, including preparing a sponsorship proposal, creating a database of potential sponsors, communicating and sending proposals, following up, negotiating, and dealing. This study also identified several challenges in sponsorship program planning, including obstacles in bartering products that do not match the value of the booth being sold and the lack of interest of potential sponsors in sponsorship packages that are considered too expensive. These findings provide insight into best practices and challenges faced in sponsorship planning, as well as suggestions for improving the effectiveness of future sponsorship programs.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi perencanaan sponsorship yang diterapkan oleh PT Nusaraya Asa Pameran (ASA Exhibitions) dalam konteks acara Indonesia Beauty Influencers Summit 2024. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi memperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa proses perencanaan melibatkan beberapa tahapan, termasuk penyusunan proposal sponsorship, pembuatan database calon sponsor, komunikasi dan pengiriman proposal, follow-up, negosiasi, dan dealing. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam perencanaan program sponsorship, termasuk kendala dalam barter produk yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai booth yang dijual serta ketidakminatan calon sponsor terhadap paket sponsor yang dianggap terlalu mahal. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan mengenai praktik terbaik dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam perencanaan sponsorship, serta saran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program sponsorship di masa mendatang.

Comparison of Artificial Water Pump Drive Models
Starting from a printed water filter that uses an electric water pump, we tried to make a breakthrough by making an artificial pump using wind energy. Wind energy requires an appropriate drive model. Two driving models were tried and then compared between the two to get the best model to be applied as a recommendation for the wider community. In the initial stage, model design was carried out, both an artificial pump model and a driving model with two variations. Next, prepare the necessary materials, then make the model. For pump models from PVC pipes, drive models from plastic drums and drive models from mineral bottles as well as supporting system models. The supporting system is a network of intake pipes to the pump system and from the pump to the reservoir. Then the final step is to make a tower model from light steel with a height of approximately 10 meters. All models made such as custom pumps and drive models need to be tested to ensure whether the model can function properly. Apart from that, it is also necessary to evaluate if there are obstacles so that it can function optimally. Next, data collection and analysis of existing data is carried out. The final step is to draw a conclusion regarding the model being made and choose the best drive model with all its advantages and disadvantages. Based on nine trials by rotating the drive models (2 models) manually, a conclusion can be drawn that Drive Models 1 and 2 can rotate well, the crank also functions well and the artificial pump after evaluation is finally functional and able to drain as much water as possible. 0.38 liters per one revolution of the drive model. The volume of water obtained is the maximum capacity based on a comparative calculation of the volume of the pump tube of 0.34 liters. Both Drive Models can be raised to a higher level of 5 meters or 10 meters for strong wind gusts. However, because the area where the research was conducted, the wind gusts were protected by tall buildings, so the results were not optimal
PERANCANGAN SISTEM POINTING ANTENA TOWER BTS OTOMATIS UNTUK KOMUNIKASI WI-FI BERBASIS APLIKASI ANDROID: RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI KONTROL POINTING ANTENA BTS BERBASIS ANDROID
In this digital era, the demand for reliable and efficient communication networks is increasingly rising. One of the critical components in communication networks is the Base Transceiver Station (BTS), which requires an antenna with optimal orientation to ensure maximum signal quality. This research aims to design an automatic BTS antenna pointing system using an Android application. The system utilizes DC Gear Motors and Servo Motors to adjust the antenna's position and orientation in real-time. The Android application serves as an intuitive user interface, allowing technicians to easily calibrate and adjust the antenna. The system is designed to enhance time efficiency and accuracy in the antenna pointing process. The application is developed using Android Studio and Firebase Realtime Database. It is connected to the ESP32 via mobile Wi-Fi internet. The developed application functions effectively, enabling the tower to rotate to the specified angle accurately as commanded by the application. The code and system built significantly assist technicians in the antenna pointing process.Pada era digital ini, kebutuhan akan jaringan komunikasi yang handal dan efisien semakin meningkat. Salah satu komponen vital dalam jaringan komunikasi adalah Base Transceiver Station (BTS), yang memerlukan antena dengan orientasi optimal untuk memastikan kualitas sinyal yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pointing antena BTS secara otomatis menggunakan aplikasi Android. Sistem ini memanfaatkan Motor Gear DC dan Motor Servo untuk menggerakkan posisi dan orientasi antena secara real-time. Aplikasi Android berfungsi sebagai antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif, memungkinkan teknisi untuk melakukan kalibrasi dan penyesuaian antena dengan mudah. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan akurasi dalam proses Pointing antena. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan android studio dan Firebase Realtime Database. Aplikasi ini terhubung dengan ESP32 menggunakan internet Mobile Wifi. Aplikasi yang dibuat bekerja dengan baik, dimana tower dapat berputar ke arah sudut sesuai dengan perintah yang diberikan oleh aplikasi dengan tepat, dengan kode dan sistem yang dibangun dapat memudahkan teknisi dalam melakukan pointing antena
ANALYSIS ALTMAN Z-SCORE TO PREDICT BANKRUPTCY IN PT RAMAYANA LESTARI SENTOSA TBK
The objective of this study is to ascertain the anticipated level of bankruptcy risk at PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk, based on the annual financial reports spanning from 2018 to 2020. The data utilized in this analysis comprise the Financial Statements of PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk for the specified period, accessible through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, www.idx.com. As PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk is a publicly traded retail company in Indonesia, its financial statements are publicly accessible. The technical analysis employed in this research utilizes the Altman Z-score method, entailing calculations based on the Altman Z-Score formula. The Z-Score calculation for 2018 yielded a result of 6.271, indicating placement within the safe zone. In 2019, it slightly decreased to 6.190, still within the safe zone. Subsequently, in 2020, it experienced a slight increase to 6.211. The Z-Score results for the period spanning 2018 to 2020 suggest that PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk can be classified as a financially healthy company with no evident potential for bankruptcy. THE IMPACT OF MOBILE ASSISTED LANGUANGE LEARNING (MALL) SMARTPHONE’S APPLICATION: A DESIGN-BASED STUDY
Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is a method for enhancing language teaching methods autonomously, utilizing language learning apps conveniently and flexibly. Engaging and interactive learning methods, such animation, images, and audio, can effectively communicate knowledge and enhance memory retention by being easily comprehensible and stimulating human senses. Innovative solutions are required to address the challenges of limited access, flexibility, and pedagogical assistance in Distance Education. This study utilizes the Design Based Research (DBR) technique to create Mobile Technology, a mobile application tailored for vocabulary acquisition. The development process consists of cycles of design, execution, and evaluation, emphasizing the requirements and environment of the learner. The implementation of VocUp Mobile Technology was successful and proven its efficiency in enhancing vocabulary proficiency. This program facilitates interactive and adaptable learning by incorporating elements that respond to user requirements and learning circumstances. Mobile technology has enhanced vocabulary acquisition by offering a more adaptable and convenient approach, addressing common obstacles in distance education. This facilitates the adoption of advanced and student-focused learning methods. This Mobile Technology provides a practical and efficient answer for vocabulary acquisition issues in a university setting, particularly in Distance Education. THE STRATEGY OF MIND MAPPING IN TEACHING DESCRIPTIVE WRITING THROUGH THE FOURTH SEMESTER STUDENTS AT STIKOM TUNAS BANGSA IN PEMATANGSIANTAR
Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills that a person must possess. Using writing, someone can generate interesting ideas and pour them into writing. Writing descriptive paragraphs is also one of the lessons that the school student finds difficult to understand; the mind mapping method is applied to see how the technique influences writing students, especially in the description text. This study aims to examine the import of image media-based mind mapping on the fourth-semester students' skills in writing descriptive text paragraphs. The subjects are fourth-grade students at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. The research adopts a mixed-methods framework, merging qualitative and quantitative approaches to examine the intervention’s outcomes comprehensively. The quantitative component includes pre-tests and post-tests to assess improvements in students' descriptive writing skills before and after the intervention of image media-based mind-mapping. The qualitative component consists of classroom observations, student feedback, and analysis of written assignments to capture students' experiences and perceptions of the technique. Results indicate that the image media-based mind mapping technique significantly enhances students' ability to generate ideas, organize their writing, and incorporate detailed descriptions. The study highlights the effectiveness of combining visual media with mind mapping to improve descriptive writing, suggesting that this approach offers a valuable tool for educators aiming to enhance student's writing proficiency where students view mind mapping positively, nothing its effectiveness in highlighting critical information from the textbook and simplifying the process of understanding details.

ANALISIS PERILAKU BRAND SWITCHING KONSUMEN MCDONALD'S DI TENGAH KONFLIK ISRAEL–PALESTINA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR : (Studi Kasus Pada Gen Z di Kota Depok Bulan Oktober 2023–Januari 2024)
ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study is to identify the consumption habit and tendencies of Gen Z in Depok in responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which influence their decision to remain loyal to or switch from McDonald's. Data from 100 respondents were assassed using the PLS-SEM method. The outcomes of the analysis show that Attitude towards behavior shows a positive and significant effect on Brand switching behavior, from a coefficient value of 0.226 and P values of 0.012. Subjective norms variable is positive and significant on Brand switching behavior, with a coefficient of 0.365 and P values of 0.000. In addition, Perceived behavioral control also shows a positive and significant effect on Brand switching behavior, from the coefficient value which indicates 0.375 with P values of 0.000. These findings suggest that Gen Z is more likely to switch brands if they feel their attitude towards McDonald's is negative, are influenced by social norms, and feel they have control in the decision.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola konsumsi dan kecenderungan Gen Z di Depok dalam merespons konflik Israel-Palestina, yang memengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk tetap setia atau beralih dari McDonald's. Data dari 100 responden dianalisis dengan metode PLS-SEM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Attitude towards behavior menunjukkan efek yang positif dan signifikan pada perilaku Brand switching, dari nilai koefisien sebesar 0,226 dan P values 0,012. Dampak Boikot Konsumen terhadap Fluktuasi Harga Saham Starbucks: Analisis Empiris
This study focuses on the impact of consumer boycotts on Starbucks' stock price fluctuations, employing an in-depth empirical approach to analyze the moderating factors that influence the intensity and duration of such effects. The study provides quantitative data on stock price variations during different boycott periods and explores the roles of macroeconomic conditions, social media sentiment, and mitigation strategies in moderating boycott impacts. Findings indicate that consumer boycotts can significantly trigger stock price volatility, particularly when accompanied by intense media coverage and high social media engagement. Under unstable economic conditions, boycott impacts tend to be more severe and require extended recovery times. Conversely, companies adopting proactive crisis communication approaches and implementing responsive and transparent mitigation strategies are better positioned to expedite stock price recovery. This research contributes to financial and consumer behavior literature by demonstrating that investor perceptions are influenced by public sentiment dynamics, particularly as recorded on social media platforms. Furthermore, the findings highlight the critical importance of crisis and reputation management in the digital era, where rapid, uncontrolled information flow can accelerate the spread of negative sentiment affecting company valuations. These results aim to assist multinational companies in developing more adaptive strategies to address potential consumer boycotts in the future.Penelitian ini berfokus pada dampak boikot konsumen terhadap fluktuasi harga saham Starbucks, menggunakan pendekatan empiris yang mendalam untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memoderasi intensitas dan durasi pengaruh tersebut. Studi ini menyajikan data kuantitatif mengenai perubahan harga saham dalam berbagai periode boikot, serta mengeksplorasi peran kondisi makroekonomi, sentimen media sosial, dan strategi mitigasi dalam mengurangi dampak boikot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa boikot konsumen dapat secara signifikan memicu volatilitas harga saham, terutama ketika disertai oleh liputan media yang intens dan volume interaksi yang tinggi di media sosial. Di bawah kondisi ekonomi yang tidak stabil, dampak boikot cenderung lebih parah dan membutuhkan waktu pemulihan yang lebih lama. Di sisi lain, perusahaan yang mengadopsi pendekatan proaktif dalam komunikasi krisis, serta menerapkan strategi mitigasi yang responsif dan transparan, mampu mempercepat pemulihan harga saham mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi literatur keuangan dan perilaku konsumen dengan menunjukkan bahwa persepsi investor dipengaruhi oleh dinamika sentimen publik yang terekam di media sosial. Selain itu, temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya manajemen krisis dan reputasi di era digital, di mana arus informasi yang cepat dan tak terkontrol dapat mempercepat penyebaran sentimen negatif yang memengaruhi valuasi perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan multinasional dalam mengembangkan strategi yang lebih adaptif dalam menghadapi potensi boikot konsumen di masa depan
