Soil Characterization In Ex-Manganese Mining Land In North-Central Timor District, East Nusa Tenggara
Manganese (Mn) mining in North Central Timor results in open land conditions that can change soil qualities. The aim of this study was to determine physical characteristics and chemical properties of the soil in the ex-manganese mining areas. The study was performed from June – September 2021. Soil characterization was carried out at selected locations where manganese mining was carried out both traditionally and using technology. The soil characteristics measured were texture, water content, bulk density, mass density, porosity, organic matter content, pH, cation exchange capacity (CEC), organic C, total nitrogen (N), total phosphorus (P), total potassium (K), and total Mn. The results showed that the physical characteristics of the soil on ex-Mn mining land from 5 villages in TTU, NTT are dominated by sand texture which results in low water content (3.39 - 9.46 %), soil porosity (14.96 - 59.31 %), and high bulk density (1.18 - 1.49 g cm-3). Characteristics of soil chemical properties showed low pH (< 7), organic matter (0.06 – 0.81%), organic C (0.03 – 0.22 %), total N contents (0.05 – 0.22%), and high total P (14.77 – 61.44 me 100 g-), K (66.66 – 71.18 me 100 g-), and Mn (18.802 – 24.055 ppm) contents. Land must be reclaimed Reclamation can be done by land management, top soil conservation, planting pioneer crops or cover crops.

Optimization of Transaction Processing System (TPS) Using RAD With FAST Method
The use of computer-based information systems today has been understood by most companies in order to survive and succeed well. The transaction processing system (TPS) is a computerized system that runs and records daily routine business transactions that serve the operational level in the company. Information systems of purchase, inventory, sales are part of the TPS widely used by companies. The problem here is how to ensure that the system is connected to the organization's business plan and information requirements, where often a system that is built is not in accordance with the wishes of the user. Meanwhile, manual information systems can cause problems such as data redundancy, inconsistent data, irregular recording, miscalculations, difficulty in finding data and delays in presenting reports. To build the information system, the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) method will be used with a Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach that uses selected prototype features. The solution is expected to build an information system that can bring together user requirements and help companies process purchase, inventory and sales data in an integrated manner, so as to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of retail data processing
Endophytic Bacteria and Fungi from Indonesian Medicinal Plants with Antibacterial, Pathogenic Antifungal and Extracellular Enzymes Activities: A Review
The habitat of endophytic bacteria in plant tissues making it automatically used by plants to protect themselves against pathogenic bacteria. Endophytic bacteria have been applied in various fields, including agriculture, pharmacy, medicine, and biotechnology. This review was carried out to summarize recent studies focusing on the diversity of endophytic bacteria derived from traditional medicinal plants which have antibacterial activity and extracellular enzymes. This article was prepared and written by referring to literature studies collected from books and online journal publication. The literature review of endophytic bacteria focused on Vernonia anthelmintic, Saurauia scaberrinae, and Ki rinyuh (Chromolaena odorata) plants. The results revealed that endophytic bacteria obtained from Vernonia anthelmintic plant is from Micrococcus, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Stenotrophomonas, and Pantoea genus which possess the same biological properties as the host plant, producing antibacterial activity. Saurauia scaberrinae plant successfully isolated endophyte fungus Phoma sp. which produces phomodione (4) and cercosporamide. Phomodione (4) exhibit inhibitory activity against S. aureus, P. ultimum, S. sclerotiorum and R. solani. Cercosporamide exhibits inhibitory activity against S. aureus. Endophytic bacteria were also isolated from Ki rinyuh (Chromolaena odorata), including BECB3, BECB 4, BECA 8, BECA 5, BECA 1, and BECA 10 isolates which have extracellular enzyme activities such as ?-amylase, ?-amylase, cellulase, chitinase, and protease. Understanding endophytic bacteria in medicinal plants can help researchers apply them effectively
