Candy is used as a source of high calories, so it is often eaten during activities such as work, studying, and exercise. In general, the candy that is widely circulated in the community is hard candy, which has a hard texture and a shiny appearance. The benefits of candy for the human body are that it adds nutrients, minerals, and other vitamin content because this candy is made from real fruit juice. The purpose of this study was to formulate hard candy with the main ingredient of sweet orange juice with a variety of sucrose in order to get a delicious formula in the form of taste that is expected to meet the nutritional requirements of both children and adults. formulated candy. Hard candy is made using the open pan method. The research is experimental and includes the processing of sweet orange ingredients, making sweet orange juice, making hard candy and hard candy test parameters including organoleptic tests, pH tests, weight uniformity tests, water content tests, ash content tests and tests of preference level (hedonic test) by the respondent. Based on the results of the study, sweet orange juice can be formulated into hard candy preparations with sucrose 1,5; 2 and 3 g. The obtained results with candy shape, taste, and hardness are quite good; they have a pH of 5, and they meet weight uniformity requirements with a coefficient of variation of 1.08, 1.30, and 1.11%, moisture content 2.4, 2.3 and 1.7%, ash content 1.0, 0.13 and 0%. The results of the organoleptic preference level test in terms of liking, taste, and texture showed that F3 was the most preferred formula. The sucrose levels have an effect on the level of liking

    Get PDF
The number of human populations is increasing as well as daily needs and consequently increased the number of wastes that being produced including plastic waste. Indonesia itself consumed 17 kg/capita per year. Recycling the plastic waste is one of alternatives way to reduce waste, by melting the plastic waste using six heaters from electrical energy source. This research was conducted to obtain number of heaters that will be used in the injection molding process by considering the time consumed for the temperature of 50? - 210? C. The observation is being done by measuring the temperature and power supplied from 3, 4, 5 and 6 heaters and repeated for 3 times experiment. Based on the measurement data that has been carried out, it is found that the highest average power is the injection with six numbers of heaters consumed 956.80 W. The time measurement required to reach optimal temperature, for 3 number of heaters was taking the longest time which is 2842 Seconds. This condition is in line with the average of electrical power consumed to reach the optimal temperature is the using of the heaters 0.350 kWh. Based on three hypotheses that being done, the result shows that the Ha is accepted and there is significant influence between three models that being made

An infectious disease is a disease with the highest prevalence in the world, with a great risk of transmission. Staphylococcus aureus is a pathogen that can cause several infectious diseases. The use of kemangi leaves as vegetables can be used as an invention in treating infections caused by bacteria. The purpose of this study was a phytochemical screening test to determine what metabolites are contained and their potential activity against Staphylococcus aureus. The research method is to carry out a qualitative phytochemical screening test using reagents and an antibacterial potential test against Staphylococcus aureus using the Kirby-Bauer method (diffusion agar) with varying concentrations. The results showed that kemangi leaves extract showed positive results on the secondary metabolite compounds, were alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, glycosides, and steroids/triterpenoids. The diameter of the inhibition zone at a concentration of 500 mg/mL showed the diameter of the inhibition zone was 11.93 ± 0.25 mm with the strong category group. The conclusion is that the ethanolic extract of kemangi leaves shows the ethanolic extract of kemangi leaves has potential as an antibacterial

Covid-19 has an impact on the economy, where ADB decreased with estimates in Asian Developing Countries by 3.0 ppts to 2.2%, and for ASEAN by 3.7 ppts to 1.0% (ASEAN, 2020). In addition, one of the indicators that shows that the occurrence of stock market movements, can be seen through the country's stock price index. The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI), which is one of the benchmarks for the Indonesian stock market, on March 5, 2020 was at 5,638.13 and experienced a low on March 24, 2020 at 3,937.63. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, exchange rate, and TVA on the stock price index in the basic and chemical industry sectors, which in this case uses data in the period January 2020 -June 2022, namely the period where the stock price index of the basic industry and chemical sectors shows a downward trend in April 2020 and November 2020. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling samples so that 64 Companies in the Basic and Chemical Industries Sector were obtained listed on the IDX. The data analysis technique used in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis to describe the data that has been collected. The results of the study for the F test showed that inflation, exchange rates and TVA had a positive and significant effect on the stock price index. While the results of the t-test show that inflation has a positive and insignificant effect, the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on the stock price index, and TVA has a negative and insignificant effect on the stock price index

This research was conducted at CV. Oro Kopi Gayo, Central Aceh Regency, this research was conducted in February 2016. The location determination was determined intentionally by considering that CV. Oro Kopi Gayo is one of the industrial companies engaged in coffee processing and coffee export. The data analysis method used simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the partial analysis, the value of tcount = 5.121 > ttable = 2.228 with a significant value obtained 0.000 or <0.05 (5%) then H0 is rejected and Hadi accepts. This shows that the independent variable (number of random purchases) has a partially significant effect on the dependent variable (drying labor acceptance). The average number of random purchases of coffee is 289,552 Kg\Year with the average number of drying workers receiving Rp.33,684,0984, From the results of this study indicate that the higher the number of random coffee purchases, the higher the labor acceptance. drying. So that it can be concluded that the proposed simple linear regression equation model Y=q+bX is acceptable
