    No full text
The Design and Build method have been widely used in government projects in recent years. The construction of a sports stadium is one type of project that uses an integrated contract. Design and build, which is considered to have high complexity and is urgent, so the use of the Design and Build method is expected to provide a solution in the implementation of the project. However, in implementing the integrated design and construction contract, there are still many disputes from stakeholders involved such as Inspection of Work Results. This study aims to identify the factors that cause dispute in the Design and Build project and develop a Standard for Inspection of Work Results from the perspective of Construction Management. The results of the study indicate the factors causing the dominant risk-based dispute as well as corrective action in the form of standard inspection of work results on construction projects

Companies depend more on their workforce than just suitable facilities and advanced equipment to achieve their goals. To achieve organizational goals, human resources - particularly employees - play an important role. This study aims to explain how the relationship between work motivation, compensation, and employee performance; how these factors affect employee performance; and which component has the most influence on employee performance. A total of 35 employees were involved in this study. The method used was the total sampling method. To collect information, surveys and interviews were conducted. Scale range and multiple linear regression were used as analytical techniques to assess and validate the research hypotheses. Employee performance has a positive impact on the company. The same results also show that work motivation and compensation have an effect on the success of the company, employee performance increases when incentives and work motivation are improved. This implies that work motivation and compensation have a positive influence on employee performance

Revolutionizing Journal Publishing: Unleashing The Power Of Web-Based Chatbot Development With Dialogflow And Natural Language Processing

    No full text
The chatbot is a manifestation of Artificial Intelligence that can replace humans in engaging in conversational interactions and providing information services to users or visitors. Chatbots generally interact through text messages, voice, images, and other mediums. In this study, a web-based chatbot application was developed for a journal website called the Journal of Multidisciplinary Issues, aiming to relieve site administrators from having to repeatedly answer the same visitor questions. The development of the chatbot application followed the Rapid Application Development method, involving several stages including planning, design, system development, implementation, and testing. The application was built using Google Dialogflow services, employing Natural Language Processing techniques, along with the integration feature called Dialogflow Messenger, which offers a wide range of response options for journal websites utilizing Open Journal Systems. The chatbot application was evaluated using Alpha and Closed Beta Testing methodologies, which yielded promising results. The chatbot demonstrated the ability to provide appropriate responses after being tested with various question scenarios, achieving a score of 85.25% in the questionnaire-based assessment, which aimed to gauge visitor perspectives on the developed chatbot application. Future research endeavors should focus on integrating the chatbot with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, or LINE

Leveraging Blockchain-based Smart Contracts to Develope Trustworthy Customer Agreements

    No full text
The With the advancement of computer, electronic, and telecommunications technology, there has been a significant change in the world of applications, which makes it easier for humans to carry out various activities, both at work and in interacting on social media.CV. Albahritech faces the challenge of not having a quick and easy office equipment maintenance application. This limitation can have a negative impact on company operations. Currently, the maintenance process still relies on communication via WhatsApp or phone, which causes customer appointments to be missed or forgotten due to the large number of calls for customer maintenance services that cannot be fulfilled. In addition, transactions and visit reports are not properly recorded, which can cause customers to experience delays in getting treatment services or even cause customers to look for other treatment services. The currently designed application uses a blockchain-like decentralized network model, known as a DApp. This DApp has several important features that utilize blockchain technology[1], including the ability to make payments using cryptocurrencies such as Ether and the feature to record service lists for customers. In this application, smart contracts are used to create a mechanism of trust and automation in agreements or deals between the parties involved. This ensures that agreements and transactions made within the app are transparent, secure, and without the need for a third party. In addition, the app also uses IPFS for customer data storage. IPFS is a peer-to-peer file distribution system that serves to store and distribute data on the interne[2]t. The use of IPFS in this application enables distributed and decentralized data storage, thereby improving data security and reliability.     Keywords: Helpdesk, Ticketing, Blockchain, Smart Contract,IPFS

Soybean Supply Response Model In Sub-Optimal Land In Tanjab Timur District: Application Of The Meta Response Function

    Get PDF
Soybean production in the Tanjab Timur region has been on a downward trend for nearly a decade. This requires attention and assessment to find solutions to existing problems. The objective of study is to (1)evaluate the use of inputs and their effect on production, as well as investigate the capacity of production factors, such as landand other factors to analyze supply responses; and (2) analyze soybeansupply response variable to the components of input costs, gross revenue, and other variables, to produce a soybean supply response model in sub-optimal land types: Application of Meta-Response Functions. This research was conducted in 2021 on peatland types (sub-optimal). Stratified random sampling is used for the land area.Appropriate qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods are used, called the Meta Response Function, which in their application is distinguished from the research objectives, namely in the first objective using the Production Function Empirical Model, and in the second using the Meta-Response Model. The results showed that soybean farmers on peatland in the research area respond to changes in input use efficiently. In terms of output supply, it responds to soybean production. In terms of input demand, many variables aresensitive to the use of labor, maintenance, and harvesting labor. Production elasticity completes the policy section of the database foranalysis of the policy impact of applying alternative inputs on soybeansupply and input demand

Infectious diseases are Indonesia's most common. Antibiotics are used to treat infections. Medicine needs new antibiotics due to antibiotic resistance. Antibiotics from plants are possible. Papaya leaf carpain alkaloids may be antibacterial. This study determined papaya leaf compound content, flavonoids' total phenol content, and the optimal concentration of papaya leaf ethanol extract that inhibits Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The first stages of the research were the maceration of papaya leaf extract with 96% ethanol solvent, the phytochemical screening test (alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tannin, and steroid and triterpenoid tests), total phenol and total flavonoids tests, and the paper disc antibacterial activity test. Alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, steroids, and saponins were found in papaya leaf ethanol extract. Papaya leaf ethanol extract has 59.05 mgQE/g flavonoids and 56.80 GAE/g phenols. The antibacterial activity test of papaya leaf ethanol extract measured the diameter of the inhibitory zone on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, steroids, and saponins were found in papaya leaf ethanol extract. Papaya leaf ethanol extract has 59.05 mgQE/g flavonoids and 56.80 GAE/g phenols. Papaya leaf ethanol extract had the best inhibition zone diameter for Staphylococcus aureus at 150 mg/mL (12.85 mm) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa at 150 mg/mL (13.10 mm)

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii) is one of the spices that can be used as cosmetic preparations in the pharmaceutical industry because it contains potent antioxidants. Examples of cosmetic products containing cinnamon are body scrubs, body showers, and moisturizers. This study aimed to determine the antioxidant activity of cinnamon extract using the DPPH method. Cinnamon was extracted using the maceration technique with 96% ethanol solvent, and phytochemical screening was carried out. The results of phytochemical screening from cinnamon bark extract were alkaloids, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids, and flavonoids. Antioxidant activity obtained an IC50 value of 25.35 ppm. Based on these results, the cinnamon extract has a very strong antioxidant activity value
