The process of childbirth is a natural event for women; with the increase in birth rates, selecting a suitable obstetrician becomes essential. However, many couples find it challenging to choose the right obstetrician, from consultations to hospital births. This study aims to develop an obstetrician recommendation system to overcome decision-making challenges that involve many criteria. The method used is VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR), which is one of the best methods in Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) for ranking and selecting alternatives. This method involves several steps, including determining the weight of the criteria, normalizing the matrix, calculating the Utility Measure and Regret Measure, and calculating the VIKOR index. Testing was carried out through scenario tests and user survey tests using the USE questionnaire. The scenario test results show the successful implementation of VIKOR in this system. The results of the user survey test indicated a high level of satisfaction with a score of 83.34%, which fulfilled the four variables in the USE questionnaire: usability (79.76%), ease of use (84.81%), ease of learning (84.81), and satisfaction (83.31%). The results of this study have important implications for increasing the effectiveness of decision-making in selecting the right obstetrician. By incorporating the VIKOR method into an application, this research provides a valuable contribution to developing a VIKOR-based recommendation system. It emphasizes the importance of applying this method in complex decision-making environments

    Get PDF
Unknowingly, risk is an essential part of an individual's life. Every day individuals have the potential to be threatened by possibilities that can produce something that has fatal social, human, and financial consequences. Insurance can help individuals to relieve the financial burden caused by unwanted things by transferring individual losses to insurance companies. This transfer of losses will distinguish individuals from possible bankruptcy and financial security. Automotive insurance is a liability for loss or damage to motorized vehicles. This time we will take the example of an insurance company specializing in automotive insurance, namely Top Gear Insurance (TGI). This company uses customer data storage using an ordinary manual database that does not yet use a data warehouse system. This ordinary manual database makes it difficult for TGI to retrieve data for reprocessing and makes data inaccessible from anywhere, asynchronous, concise, and inefficient. There is a solution to the TGI problem of creating a data warehouse with a star schema approach for storing and processing data. The data warehouse is likely to make the data within the company more accessible, efficient, simple, and understandable so that TGI can develop its business through data analysis from the data it already has. Datawarehouse has many business advantages, such as increasing Business Intelligence, data quality and consistency, saving time, and supporting historical data analysis and queries. The data warehouse consists of datamart, OLTP, OLAP, and Star Schema. Using Mondrian as a visualization showed that TGI can get information about customer data, policies, and claims easily, quickly, and concisely. That can also help TGI create customer profiles and targeted marketing and company evaluation based on the visualization provided

    Get PDF
Most drugs on the market contain multiple active ingredients, each of which is intended to enhance the drug's therapeutic effect and ease of administration. Determination of the levels of efficacious substances in drug preparations is essential for agencies that conduct drug determinations, such as the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) and the drug industry; therefore, a rapid and dependable analytical method, as well as relatively inexpensive and easily accessible tools and operational costs, are required. In practice, however, it can produce accurate and precise results. This research will be conducted by optimizing the solvent and simultaneously analyzing the levels of Vitamin C and Zinc in the tablet preparation without any separation step using visible spectrophotometry. Vitamin C and Zinc were found to be soluble in a mixture of methanol and water with a ratio of 50:50 after a single examination with the addition of the complexing agent dhitizon at a concentration of 0.1%, which produced a pink color. Calculation of Vitamin C and Zinc's linearity. The linearity value described is the correlation coefficient value for both Vitamin C and Zinc, which is very close to one, indicating an excellent relationship between the drug concentration and the absorbance value. This also suggests that absorbance will increase as concentration increases. The method validation requirements for linearity, accuracy, and precision as well as the limit of detection (LOD) and the limit of quantification (LOQ) were met by the analytical method validation with promising results
