Knowledge Sharing Behavior Model of Polytechnic Lecturer
Knowledge sharing is very important for lecturers in implementing the tri dharma of higher education. By sharing knowledge, it will create creative ideas and innovations for lecturers. This study aims to find out how the behavior of sharing knowledge of polytechnic lecturers. Research on the knowledge sharing behavior of polytechnic lecturers has never been carried out. The research sample was 200 lecturers at the first six polytechnics in Indonesia. The behavior of sharing knowledge is seen from three factors: knowledge donating, knowledge collecting, and technology. The data was processed using LISREL 8.80. The results of the research are the dominant dimension in supporting the sharing of lecturers' knowledge. Polytechnics lecturer also tend to collecting more knowledge than share knowledge. This can be due to the lack of motivation of lecturers to share and competition. For this reason, polytechnic university management needs efforts to improve the culture of knowledge sharing among lecturers

Isolation of Chitosan From Dogol Shrimp Skin (Parapenaeopsis sculptilis)
In Indonesia, shrimp underwent a "cold storage" process where the heads, tails, and shells were discarded as waste. This shrimp waste could pollute the environment around the factory so it needed to be utilized. So far, shrimp shells had only been used as ingredients for making crackers, shrimp paste, and animal feed supplements. The remaining shrimp shells that had been separated were made into chitosan which was then subjected to characterization tests. The three steps of the chitosan isolation process were deproteinization, demineralization, and deacetylation. The analytical tests carried out were testing the water content, ash content, and functional groups contained in chitosan which were identified using the Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR) Spectrophotometer. Based on the test results, there was a moisture content of 9.27% ??and an ash content of 1.69% in the chitosan samples made from shrimp shells. Functional groups of shrimp shell chitosan were identified using FT-IR characteristics. The -NH- group, which was represented by the N-H and O-H stretching groups, could be seen in the absorption band 1456.26 in the wave range 3000–30500. The conclusion of this study was that chitosan could be extracted from shrimp shells and meet the characterization criteria
How To Improve Business Performance Of Msmes In The Covid-19 Pandemic Through Knowledge Sharing
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are economic drivers in both developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. In an effort to improve the performance of MSMEs, it is necessary to pay attention to the application of knowledge sharing within these MSMEs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the application of the knowledge sharing model and the improvement in the performance of MSMEs especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research subjects taken in this study were MSME actors in the food and beverage sector at Pematangsiantar City, totaling 374 MSMEs. The analysis technique used in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart PLS program. The results of this study indicated that the performance of MSMEs increases when the application of knowledge sharing went well, this couldbe seen from the test results which showed that tacit knowledge sharing had a positive and significant effect on marketing performance and explicit knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. However, it was different from the effect of explicit knowledge sharing on marketing performance which showed a negative and significant influence
