Innovations in Software Configuration: Introducing a Data Comparison Tool Based on the Myers Diff Algorithm

    No full text
In the realm of software project development, it's not uncommon for changes to emerge at various stages of a project's lifecycle. Such alterations can manifest in virtually every facet of the software development process, from conceptual design decisions down to the minutiae of the source code. To proficiently manage and track these dynamic changes, professionals turn to a specialized toolset known as Software Configuration Management (SCM). One of the standout features that SCM tools bring to the table is the 'diff' capability. This functionality allows developers to identify and review the disparities between two versions of source code. Recognizing the importance and utility of this feature, the primary objective of this research is to create an advanced diff application. This application, by leveraging the Myers Diff algorithm, is meticulously designed to pinpoint and showcase differences in characters between two sets of text-based data. Moreover, it accentuates these differences by visually highlighting the contrasting characters between the two datasets. To ensure the reliability and accuracy of this newly developed tool, we undertook a series of validation tests. We juxtaposed the results from our application against those from a comparable existing tool. Impressively, the discrepancies in results were minimal, with a marginal difference of just 1%. This suggests not only the utility but also the precision of our application in real-world software development scenarios. &nbsp

This study is aimed at investigating the effect of financial literacy, financial attitudes and financial behaviour on the growth of micro- and small-sector enterprises (MSMEs) in Trenggalek Regency, Indonesia. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and a Likert scale. The analysis technique used in this research is partial least squares analysis using structural equation models (SEM-PLS). The results showed that financial literacy and financial behaviour has an effect on the growing of MSMEs In Trenggalek Regency. MSME managers who have a high level of literacy will have knowledge, skills and beliefs that will influence their attitudes and behaviour in making financial decisions. Financial attitudes have no effect on MSME growth. Write Line Inner Sheating at PT. KMI Wire and Cable has idle time due to processing time on Unbalanced work stations sometimes cause stop lines. Fromcalculations it is known that the cycle time gap / cycle time obtained is as big as 109.2 seconds and the figure is taken based on the biggest time from 6 stations existing work. The author intends to examine the causes of its occurrence processing time delays that occur on the Inner Sheating line and deliver give suggestions for future improvements. This research uses line balancing method and production system layouts. Among them is looking for the cycle time at the 6 largest stations as a reference in determining the next calculation, calculating the company's capacity, determining the efficiency of the machine, calculating the number of machines, adding the number of machines and additional floor area. Data is taken from field observations and records. The author uses two methods, namely the line balancing method and the system method production layout. he line balancing method and production layout system that has been carried out can be causing it to be able to meet market demand of 17,688 coils / month with the addition of machines / work stations, the required floor area is 14 m² with details, 7 m² at the Inner Sheat workstation and 7m² at the Outer Sheat station

Indonesia’s sugar productivity is low and requires improvement. Producing new superior sugar varieties may increase sugar productivity. In 2019, a polycross between female SIL 04 and male 6535, PS 881, and Bululawang made 11 potential clones. Therefore, it is necessary to determine each clone's characteristics. This research aimed to determine superior clones that generate higher crystal production than the female parents. The research location was the Agricultural Technology Research and Assessment Installation (Instalasi Penelitian dan Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian - IP2TP) Karangploso from December 2020 until November 2021. The clones and female parents (SIL 04) were arranged in a Randomized Block Design using 2 replications. The research result showed that 9 clones (MLG 19/P6/1, MLG 19/P6/4, MLG 19/P6/5, MLG 19/P6/6, MLG 19/P6/8, MLG 19/P6/9, MLG 19/P6/11, MLG 19/P6/13 and MLG 19/P6/16) produced more crystals (7.07-12.95 t/ha) than the female parents (5.82 t/ha). To sum up, increasing sugarcane productivity improves crystal yields

    Get PDF
Clinic is a health service facility that organizes individual health services and provides basic and/or specialist medical services. If the clinic does not use a computerized system, it will hamper the patient handling process. Obstacles were found at the Rantauprapat Internal Clinic Clinic, including patient registration which was still done manually with patients having to fill out paper forms directly to the clinic, not having a queuing system for treatment, medical record management which was still manual by handwriting. This can take a lot of time in the data search process. The purpose of this application is to facilitate daily operational activities in clinics that run quickly and precisely, as well as medical data management to be more accurate (minimizing human error). The analysis method uses the Soft System Methodology (SSM), and the system development method uses Extreme Programming (XP). This website-based application uses the PHP programming language which is supported by the MySQL database. Based on blackbox testing, all features can run/100% valid. This information system helps the work process in the clinic to be faster, documenting structured medical records, reducing paper use, and facilitating activities in patient care

    Get PDF
Successful implementation of a program is the goal of program design. However, currently, many programs fail to be implemented due to the failure of efforts to prevent the occurrence of failure factors. Especially in the era of digital governance such as today, the planning of various smart city programs has a large potential risk of implementation failure. The Semarang City of Smart PJU, for example, the implementation of the use of analytics-based SMART PJU requires long and careful preparation. Not only management preparation but risk management is also needed for the program. This research aims to analyze the map of potential risks in the Semarang City SMART PJU of IoT program along with analyzing how the risk management of the program. This research is based on qualitative research with primary and secondary data collection techniques. Primary data collection by interviewing related informants purposively, then the data is analyzed based on qualitative analysis. The findings of this research are that the highest level of risk occurs in the shortage of human resources and SMART PJU operators because there are no human resources who are data analytic experts and Artificial Intelligence experts. Other high risks are database errors / down; SMART PJU devices using old technology; long loading dashboards; and no Fiber Optic connection in internet management
