Work-Life Balance, Organizational Support, And Job Burnout As Determinants of Turnover Intention In Generation Z

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and organizational support on job burnout and its implications for turnover intention among Generation Z educational staff at Esa Unggul University. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 115 Generation Z respondents. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4 software, which allows for simultaneous testing of causal relationships between variables. The results showed that work-life balance had a significant negative effect on job burnout and turnover intention. This means that the higher the level of work-life balance perceived by employees, the lower the risk of burnout and intention to leave. Furthermore, organizational support has been shown to play a significant role in reducing job burnout levels and reducing the likelihood of resignation. Conversely, job burnout has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, indicating that the higher the level of job exhaustion experienced, the greater the likelihood that employees will plan to leave the organization. Theoretically, this study expands the literature on Generation Z dynamics in the workplace, emphasizing the role of work-life balance and organizational support in influencing turnover intention. Furthermore, the results corroborate previous research findings that confirm a strong relationship between burnout and turnover intention. Practically, this study provides strategic recommendations for university management to strengthen employee wellness policies, develop work flexibility, provide career development programs, and build a supportive organizational culture

    No full text
Inventory management and logistics are crucial aspects in the operation of business incubator centers, especially in ensuring the efficient availability and distribution of resources. This research aims to develop and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system in inventory management and logistics at the IBIK57 Innovation Center and Business Incubator Center. The system is designed to provide automation solutions in goods tracking, stock monitoring, and asset distribution optimization using RFID sensor technology, QR codes, and cloud-based communication. The research methods used include literature studies, user needs analysis, IoT-based system design, implementation, and system performance evaluation. RFID sensors and QR codes are used to detect the presence and movement of goods in real-time, while the data obtained is sent to a cloud-based server for processing and analysis. With this system, it is hoped that inventory management will be more accurate, reduce the risk of asset loss, and increase the operational efficiency of business incubator centers. The results show that the application of IoT in inventory management and logistics is able to increase efficiency by up to 40% in stock recording and asset tracking compared to manual methods. In addition, the system also provides users with real-time access to manage inventory in a more transparent and integrated manner. In conclusion, the use of IoT in inventory management and logistics can be an innovative solution in improving the effectiveness of resource management in academic and business environments

This study investigates the effectiveness of Islamic banking financing in enhancing economic growth in Sumenep Regency. Islamic banking plays a significant role in providing Sharia-compliant financing solutions, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that form the backbone of the local economy. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative data collected from Islamic banking institutions and regional economic statistics between 2018 and 2023. Quantitative analysis utilizes multiple regression models to measure the impact of Islamic financing schemes, such as Mudharabah and Musyarakah, on the growth of SMEs and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Sumenep. Qualitative data from interviews with banking officials and SME entrepreneurs provide insights into factors that enhance financing effectiveness, including trust, compliance with Islamic economic principles, and accessibility of capital. The findings indicate that Islamic banking financing significantly contributes to economic growth by supporting SME development, improving income levels, and fostering sustainable business practices. However, challenges such as limited human resources and regulatory constraints are identified as barriers to maximizing financing potential. The study concludes that optimizing Islamic banking products and strengthening institutional support can further accelerate economic growth in the region. This research provides valuable implications for policymakers, banking institutions, and stakeholders seeking to leverage Islamic finance as a tool for regional economic development
