    Get PDF
The Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm is a statistical learning method that has shown promise in predicting the healing rate of hepatitis patients. Hepatitis is a liver disease that can be chronic or acute and affects millions of people worldwide. The healing rate of patients with hepatitis can vary widely depending on various factors such as age, gender, and medical history. The Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm takes into account the correlations between the different attributes of patients and their healing rates, unlike the traditional Naïve Bayes Algorithm. This approach has been shown to improve the accuracy of predictions significantly. In this study, the Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm was applied to a dataset of hepatitis patients. The dataset contained information about patients' age, gender, medical history, and other attributes that might affect their healing rates. The algorithm was trained on this dataset to predict the healing rate of new patients. The results showed that the Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm achieved higher accuracy in predicting the healing rate of hepatitis patients compared to the traditional Naïve Bayes Algorithm. This suggests that the Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm could be a useful tool for healthcare professionals in predicting the healing rate of hepatitis patients, and ultimately improving their treatment and care. Furthermore, the study also investigated the importance of different attributes in predicting the healing rate of hepatitis patients. The results showed that age and medical history were the most important factors, followed by gender and other attributes. The findings of this study have significant implications for the medical community, as accurate prediction of healing rates can inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes. The Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm provides a powerful tool for healthcare professionals in predicting the healing rate of hepatitis patients, and could be extended to other medical conditions. However, it is important to note that the Correlated Naïve Bayes Algorithm has limitations, such as the assumption of independence between attributes. Therefore, future research should investigate alternative methods that can overcome these limitations and improve the accuracy of predictions further

    Get PDF
Phaleria macrocarpa is known as one of the medicinal plants in Indonesia. Almost all parts of the plant have chemical content that is useful for being used as medicine. The growing use of crown plants by the community for various diseases requires a series of tests to obtain traditional medicine preparations that are safe for human use. The purpose of this study was to identify the content of secondary metabolite compounds (alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, triterpenoids, and glycosides) and the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus with the good method because the good method has the advantage that it is easier to measure the area of the inhibition zone formed because an antibacterial activity is not only on the upper surface of nutrient agar but also at the bottom. The results of phytochemical screening showed that the flesh of Phaleria macrocarpa (Scheff). The results of testing the antibacterial activity of an ethanol extract of crown Phaleria macrocarpa (Scheff) fruit flesh (Boerl) were positive for alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins, tannins, and steroids. Boerl.) showed effective results at a concentration of 40 mg/ml against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with an inhibition zone diameter of 14 mm; the antibacterial activity was categorized as strong

    Get PDF
Transportation is a major component of living, government, and social systems. Tsocio-demographic conditions influence the performance. In this study has a purpose as an investigation of an event that measures the maximal capacity of the road as a way to overcome congestion. Searching for the maximal flow based upon the graph formed using the Ford-Fulkerson Algorithm with numerous stages, namely determining the possible pathway through the source point to the main point arranged in numerous iterations by analyzing the graph formed. Then the initialization process is given by zero flow from each side of the graph, then the search for maximal flow is obtained after doing as many as 16 iterations. The residual flow results from subtracting the total number of flows by the number of flows at each iteration. The iteration will stop if no more augmenting pathway is found. Cuts will occur if the amount of flow equals the amount of capacity. Research data is in the form of public transportations in Medan and routes. The data was obtained directly from the archives of the Transportation Service in Medan City. The search for the maximal flow of the transportation network is carried out by observing the public transportation route in the city of Medan, namely the public transportation route through Jalan Jamin Ginting to Jl. Various types of public transportation traverse Williem Iskandar. Based upon the research, the maximal capacity can be exceeded through the transportation network. There are 5 types of public transportations. The pathway through City Hall - Jl. Putri Hijau and the pathway through Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan–Jl. HM. Yamin has exceeded capacity because the types of public transportation that pass through the two roads are 15 and 9. However, the other lanes are still low, so it should divert some types of public transportation overload to empty roads
