    No full text
Indonesia still has public health centre (Puskesmas) health care issues. The data from Bengkulu is comparable to those from the national level. It shows that Puskesmas has not maximised gatekeeping. We need responsible Puskesmas management and high-quality, sustainable health care to address these problems. Pushesmas' accreditation and Regional Public Service Agency status help the government improve Puskesmas administration. We need a synchronization model because we implement accreditation and BLUD separately. Given the current situation, this study explores potential synchronization strategies between accreditation and BLUD to enhance Puskesmas management. The study describes the condition of accredited and BLUD Puskesmas, identifies the problems, investigates the role capabilities of the parties involved, seeks to synchronise Puskesmas management, and formulates a strategy to improve management. This qualitative descriptive research uses a case study approach with purposive sampling to examine Puskesmas, an accredited and BLUD school in Bengkulu Province. Researchers conduct in-depth interviews, observations, library studies, and documentation. Researchers analyse data through collection, reduction, presentation, and verification or conclusion. They also triangulate data, sources, and procedures for data validity analysis. This research created a Puskesmas Management Improvement Strategy Model as a Novelt

    No full text
The use of Smartfren SIM cards is increasing along with the public's need for fast and stable internet services. However, a deep understanding of public interest in the SIM card is necessary to optimize marketing strategies and increase sales. Proper analysis can help companies identify potential target markets and develop effective marketing strategies. We chose the K-Nearest Neighbors method to analyze public interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. This study aims to develop and evaluate the K-Nearest Neighbors model in predicting public interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. This study uses a dataset containing information about Smartfren SIM card users. We divide the data into two sets: a training set for model building and a test set for evaluating model performance. We apply the K-Nearest Neighbors method to classify the data into two categories: interested and not interested. We evaluate the model performance using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. We present the evaluation results as a confusion matrix. The developed K-Nearest Neighbors model showed excellent performance with an accuracy of 94.29%, a precision of 94.20%, a recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 97.01%. These results indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbors model is effective in predicting people's interest in Smartfren SIM cards. The high recall value indicates that the model is able to identify all interested individuals without missing any, while the high precision value indicates that the model rarely makes false positive prediction errors. This study concludes that the K-Nearest Neighbors method is very effective for use in analyzing people's interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. We can rely on the developed model's strong performance for real-world applications in marketing strategies

Parking violations are very frequent around us, especially in urban areas, which greatly disturbs other road users so the government imposes strict sanctions on parking violations. To solve this problem, a surveillance system is needed to immediately alert drivers to move their vehicles to the correct parking space. In this paper, a monitoring system for parking violations has been developed that focuses on carrying out license plate recognition on cars and giving warnings to drivers to move their cars from the wrong parking location via voice media. The steps involved in license plate recognition are license plate detection, character segmentation, and character recognition by performing OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Furthermore, the license plate recognition results will be used as input for sound generation as a warning. In this paper, a GUI was also developed to help users run programs that have been developed. Finally, the experimental results show that a simple monitoring system to alert parking violations can be established

Antioxidant Potential Of Ethanol Extract Of Kendondong Leaves (Spondias Dulcis), Characterization And Examination Of Quercetin By TLC Method

    No full text
Indonesia has a variety of plants that can be used to cure various diseases. Natural therapies offer little negative effect, especially in degenerative diseases, due to decreased function of body cells damaged by oxidation. Antioxidants have a vital role in counteracting free radicals to prevent degenerative diseases. One of the most abundant sources of antioxidant compounds is flavonoids. Kedondong leaf (Spondias dulcis) is one of the plants which is also suspected to contain flavonoids. Spondias species contain triterpenoids, namely oleanolic acid and flavonoids such as quercetin, kaempferol, kaempferida and rhamnetin. Examination of simplicia characteristics, phytochemical screening, examination of quercetin with Thin Layer Chromatography, and determination of antioxidant activity and IC50 value of Kedondong leaves using the DPPH method were carried out in this study. The results of the characteristic examination showed that simplicia met the requirements with a water content of 8.63%, a water-soluble extract content of 19.42%, an ethanol-soluble extract content of 5.17%, a total ash content of 12.43%, an acid-insoluble ash content of 7 .81%. Phytochemical screening showed that the bright kedondong leaves contained flavonoids, alkaloids, glycosides, saponins, tannins, and steroids/triterpenes. Examination of quercetin thin layer chromatography with chloroform: methanol (70: 30) as eluent produced six stains with Rf values (0.5; 1; 1.2; 3; 4.3; 6.6), and compared with quercetin raw material on the sixth stain with an Rf value of 6.6 has the same stain as the ethanol extract of kendondong leaves. The results of antioxidant testing at a 400 – 800 nm wavelength using UV-Vis spectrophotometry obtained a maximum wavelength of 515 nm. IC50 value obtained an IC50 value of 68.6260 ppm, so it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of kendondong leaves has antioxidant activity in the strong category
