    Get PDF
The amount of infrastructure development in Jakarta makes internal control of the implementation of design and build contracts for the construction of state buildings need attention. The problem in internal control is there are still some recurring findings and supervisory findings that are not detected by Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) but found by external auditors, as well as delays in completing assignments. The problems include a limited number of technical auditors, uneven knowledge, and experience of construction supervision, overlapping assignments, and a report process that takes time. These problems can have an impact on the implementation of internal control, that is lack of achievement of internal control objectives and the potential for non-compliance with the construction process with laws and regulations, thus showing that internal control of construction is not running effectively and efficiently. To improve efficient and effective internal supervision of construction, it is necessary to standardize operational procedures (SOP) or work procedures for internal control of construction, especially for design and build contracts. This research aims to identify stakeholders and the roles and responsibilities of each party in internal control of building construction using design and build contract to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The results reveal a set of internal and external stakeholders as well as the form of organizational structure and the relationship of coordination and responsibility lines. The results of this research also emphasize the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder so that each party fully understands the obligation to carry out internal supervision assignments for design and build construction

The tourism industry has faced numerous crises and disruptions around the world. The global travel and tourism industry is currently suffering substantial economic losses as a result of a health-related crisis, specifically the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, tourism-related organizations have a growing interest in crisis management, including disaster management and risk management. The present study examines the tourism industry's strategies for effectively managing crises and disruptions, focusing on fostering long-term resilience. This study examines more than just the disruption caused by health-related crises. To get insight into the adoption of crisis management and resilience strategies within the tourism industry, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on 43 articles spanning a period of ten years (2012-2022). This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method. This study presents a novel theme conceptual framework that can guide future research endeavors on resilience and crisis management within the tourism sector. The study identified three primary themes on the resilience of the tourist sector in effectively managing and responding to crises and disruptions. The first is adaptive responses, the second is innovations, and the transformation model is the third theme. The results and discussion sections will explain each theme in more detail

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how much influence product quality, service quality and social media marketing have on consumer buying interest at the Batik Gallery of the East Java Province Cooperative and SME Service, partially and simultaneously and how much influence they have. This research data was obtained from primary data through interviews and distributing questionnaires to consumers who had purchased products at the Batik Gallery of the East Java Province UKM Service. In this study, researchers used the Lemeshow formula to obtain the population size and obtained 96 data samples for processing. In this research the author used quantitative descriptive methods. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, classical assumption test, and coefficient of determination test using the SPSS version 23 application. The questionnaire in this research has also passed the validity and reliability testing stage. The results of the partial test (t-test) between the product quality variable (X1) and purchasing interest (Y), can be concluded that the product quality variables (X1) and (Y) have no partial influence. The service quality and social media marketing variables have a partial influence. Meanwhile, the results of simultaneous testing (F-test) can be concluded that there is a significant simultaneous influence between the variables product quality (X1), service quality (X2) and social media marketing (X3) on consumer buying interest (Y)

This thesis discusses the evaluation implementation of income tax on rent for domestic taxpayers after the enactment of PSAK 73: a case study at the West Jakarta Madya Tax Service Office to ensure the gap among the current conditions that need to be followed up to provide suggestions for improvements in taxation and the Madya KPP.  The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Respondents in this study consisted of Account Representatives and Taxpayers at the West Jakarta Madya Tax Service Office. The data used in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through document analysis and interviews. Qualitative data analysis is carried out by involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study concluded that the implications of PSAK 73 for the tax treatment of rent for domestic taxpayers include recognizing rent as an asset and liability and increasing transparency and fairness in financial reporting. The main challenge faced by the West Jakarta Madya Tax Service Office in ensuring PPh compliance on rent after the enactment of PSAK 73 is the lack of Taxpayer understanding of the implications of this standard and the complexity that makes it challenging to fulfill tax obligations. Steps to overcome the problem of implementing income tax on rent include increasing taxpayer understanding, strengthening the audit function, collaborating with related institutions, and issuing guidance from the tax authorities

Implementation of Decision Tree Method to Predict Customer Interest in Internet Data Packages

    No full text
The use of smartphones is on the rise, making internet packages vital in everyday life. In Indonesia, mobile operators offer a variety of data packages to meet customer needs. Understanding preferences is important to making the right decisions when providing products that meet customer needs. However, not all packages are suitable for all customers. Telkomsel is one of the providers that can deliver consistent signals and a wide range of data packages, but it still has a relatively high price. The study uses decision tree methodology to analyze citizens' preferences about Telkomsel services, comparing the relative cost of data packages with other services. This research will use surveys with samples from different communities to determine the representativeness of the results and provide strategic recommendations for Telkomsel to improve customer satisfaction. The research methods employed in this study included data collection, preprocessing, data division, model design, prediction results, and result evaluation. The results showed accuracy levels of 98.7%, precision of 100%, recall of 98.7%, specificity of 100%, and an F1-score of 99.3%. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the decision tree model in predicting customer interest in Telkomsel services. Despite some limitations, the findings provide valuable insights that Telkomsel can use to develop more effective marketing strategies

Implementation of K-Means Clustering for Inventory Projection

    No full text
Inventory forecasting is crucial in effective supply chain management and cost reduction. However, traditional forecasting techniques face significant challenges due to the complexity and variability of demand patterns. This study explores the use of K-means clustering, a data-driven approach that can improve inventory forecasting accuracy. By grouping inventory items based on their unique demand profiles, we can create personalized forecasting models for each cluster. This technique enhances demand estimation, helping businesses make informed decisions and optimize their inventory. Our research delves into the use of K-means clustering to identify patterns and similarities within historical demand data. This clustering process divides inventory items into groups with similar demand characteristics. By applying specific forecasting models to each cluster, we achieve greater precision in our predictions. The proposed methodology is rigorously evaluated using real-world inventory datasets, and the results demonstrate its significant superiority in forecasting accuracy compared to conventional non-clustered methods. This study offers compelling evidence and valuable insights for practitioners seeking to improve their inventory management practices through data-driven techniques
