    IMPLEMENTATION OF E-LEARNING USING THE MOODLE

    STAI Tuanku Tambusai Pasir Pangaraian is a high school for Islamic religious education, which in the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) is currently trying to apply the concept of blended learning by using e-learning. The purpose of this research is to build a Learning Management System (LMS) that can assist lecturers and students in conducting PBM with the help of computer technology. This is felt to have become a necessity during the pandemic and industrial revolution 4.0, STAI should have an e-larning that is able to answer challenges. The online learning system service architecture (e-learning) can be used as an appropriate design in the development of learning methods where the level of flexibility, scalability and functionality can make PBM easier to do anywhere and anytime.     Design of E-Module Based on Discovery Learning in Basic Boga Students of Class X Tata Boga in SMK Negeri 1 Beringin

    The purpose of this research is to produce valid e-modules based on discovery learning, and effective in basic food subjects. These e-modules based on discovery learning are designed to improve students’ understanding so that it can improve students\u27 learning outcomes. The method in this study uses Research and Development (R&D) with 4-D development procedures (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules based on discovery learning. The results obtained from this development research: The validity of e-modules based on discovery learning is declared valid on the media and material aspects. The practicality of e-modules based on discovery learning from teacher and student responses is stated to be very practical. The effectiveness of e-modules based on discovery learning is stated to be effective in improving learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this study it is concluded that the e-modules based on discovery learning are valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning aid in basic food subjects.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan sebuah e-modul berbasis discovery learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada mata pelajaran Boga Dasar. E-modul berbasis discovery learning dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan prosedur pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas e-modul berbasis discovery learning. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian pengembangan ini: Validitas e-modul berbasis discovery learning dinyatakan valid pada aspek media dan aspek materi. Praktikalitas e-modul berbasis discovery learning dari respon guru dan siswa dinyatakan sangat praktis. Efektivitas e-modul e-modul berbasis discovery learning dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis discovery learning dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Boga Dasa

    Efforts to improve problem solving skills and critical thinking skills through problem-based integrated Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) in Vocational Education

    Based on research conducted by PISA, the ability to solve problems and think critically of Indonesian students is still below the average score set by PISA. Problem based learning is one of the learning models recommended by the Ministry of Education and Culture to be applied in improving these abilities. However, the lack of problem-based learning that has been applied so far is the lack of use of media that can be used as support in learning activities, resulting in inconsistencies in the impact of problem-based learning in improving student skills. The importance of these skills for students to have in this era of the industrial revolution 4.0, makes educators have to be more creative and innovative in implementing learning. Therefore, this study aims at seeing efforts to improve problem solving skills and critical thinking skills through problem based integrated computer assisted instruction (CAI). This study used a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study were undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering Education, Padang State University. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire which is used to see students\u27 problem solving and critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique in this study is in accordance with the research hypothesis, where research hypotheses 1 and 2 use independent sample t-test and research hypothesis 3 uses MANCOVA. The research covered by his study is in line with higher education\u27s continuing search for effective SCL approachesBerdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh PISA, kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan berpikir kritis siswa Indonesia masih dibawah skor rata-rata yang ditetapkan oleh PISA. Problem based learning adalah salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan oleh kemendikbud untuk dapat diterapkan dalam peningkatan kemampuan tersebut. Akan tetapi, kekurangan dari problem-based learning yang diterapkan selama ini kurangnya penggunaan media yang dapat dijadikan penunjang dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga terjadi inkonsistensi terhadap dampak problem-based learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa. Pentingnya keterampilan tersebut untuk dimiliki oleh mahasiswa di era revolusi industry 4.0 ini, membuat pendidik harus bisa lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menerapkan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat upaya peningkatakan problem solving skill dan critical thinking skill melalui computer assisted instruction (CAI) terintegrasi problem based.     The effect of customer experience on repurchase intention with variety seeking as variable moderation at 4-star hotels

    This research aims to determine the influence of customer experience on repurchase intention with variable moderation of variety seeking. The statistical analysis used is moderated analysis regression. The selection of 4-star hotels due to the standard of star hotels pays attention to the increasingly varied needs of consumers.  The target population in this study was hotel guests who had stayed at a 4-star hotel in Padang. A simple random sampling technique is used with 286 samples, in obtaining the data a questionnaire with a Likert scale. From the results of the study obtained the influence of variable customer experience had a significant positive effect on the repurchase intention, with a significance value of 0,000<0.05 and had an influence contribution of 4.5%, with a regression coefficient of 0.125.  While variety-seeking variables have a significant negative effect on repurchase intention with a significance value of 0<0.05, and have an influence contribution of 6%, with a regression coefficient of -0.197. From the results of moderation regression obtained variety seeks to moderate the influence of customer experience on repurchase intention negatively with the significance of 0,000<0.05, and has a regression coefficient of -0.537 with an influence contribution of 8.7%

    Study of mixing purple sweet potato and turmeric extract as green corrosion inhibitor for API-5L in NaCl 3.5% environment

    Green inhibitors have become a major option for corrosion prevention since people are more aware of environmental damage. It is true that chemical inhibitors are more powerful at preventing corrosion, but its side effects are very harmful to the environment. Purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) in single use has been proven as an active inhibitor for certain applications. To improve this property, purple sweet potato is used as a mixed with other plants that contain antioxidant agents, such as ginger, melinjo, turmeric, jeera, etc. This paper discussed the effect of applying mixed extract of purple sweet potato with turmeric (Curcuma longa) as a green inhibitor to corrosion rate of API 5L steel in a 3.5% NaCl environment. Turmeric extract contains curcumin and kaempferol antioxidants while purple sweet potato extract contains antocyanin antioxidants. Corrosion rates were analyzed based on weight loss and polarization methods. The results showed the highest inhibitor efficiency was 82.54% achieved by 16 ml of turmeric mixed with 2 ml of purple sweet potato, and the optimum inhibitor efficiency was 74.2% achieved by 8 ml of turmeric mixed with 6 ml of purple sweet potato

    Engineering technology in robotics for the present era is no longer new, especially in high education, marked by Indonesian robot contests routinely held annually by the national achievement center. The participants in this event are groups of students from all higher education institutions spread throughout Indonesia. The development of robotics technology is now faster to spur individuals and students to compete to conduct research and development in robotics. The study aims to develop a six-legged robotic motion system or so-called hexapod. The research was conducted using the Addie model research method consisting of five stages, namely, analyze stage to analyze the needs of the development of the robotic motion system and analysis of the needs of tools and materials to be used. The design stage of designing the mechanical structure of the robot both in terms of hardware and in terms of robot software, the development stage of developing a six-legged robot\u27s motion system to be more stable and more efficient in moving, the implementation stage is a test stage of the robot\u27s motion system that has been developed.     Productivity is an alternative to evaluating the performance that has been done even one of the most effective ways in assessing the efficiency of using several inputs in producing certain outputs. the study was conducted at PT Johan Sentosa. The company is engaged in processing palm oil into CPO (crude palm oil) and kernels. In this case, the company must replace an important process called the sterilizer system from the horizontal sterilizer to the vertical sterilizer. This change will certainly have an impact on company productivity. In this study, the method used is Marvin E Mundel where partial productivity will be identified in the form of depreciation value index, material, labor, energy, and maintenance, and know the total production value index. The results of this study obtained a partial productivity index on the declining workforce, other partial productivity such as depreciation, material, labor, energy, and maintenance have increased while the index value of total productivity increased after a change in the sterilizer system

    This study aims to develop a learning module for Workshop Work and Technical Drawing using EPUB for class X TAV students at SMKN 1 Sutera. This research is a series of processes or activities carried out to produce Workshop Work and Engineering Drawing learning modules using EPUB based on development theory. The purpose of developing a workshop work learning module and technical drawings using the EPUB is to produce a valid and practical learning module. The learning module developed is based on the ADDIE development model, which consists of the analysis, design, and development stages. development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The first stage, analysis, is to analyze before product development is carried out. The second stage, Design, the design stage begins by determining the main concepts contained in the workshop work and engineering drawing subjects. Then the third stage of Development, carrying out product development through designing the components of the learning module, in this development process carried out is conducting validation tests, and practicality regarding products by experts. Furthermore, the fourth stage is Implementation, the implementation stage can be interpreted as a realization step of the design and development stage. The last stage is the Evaluation stage, which is taking action on the treatment of the learning module with EPUB that has been tested. Based on the validation of the learning module that has been carried out on the media expert validator, the value is 0.94 with a valid interpretation. "Furthermore, for material expert validation, the value is 0.89 with a valid interpretation. So it can be concluded that the developed learning module is feasible to use to improve the learning outcomes of the Workshop Work and Technical Drawing Class X TAV Students at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. After the learning module is declared valid, then it is followed by practicality testing of teacher respondents who obtained the value practicality of 92.49% with very practical interpretation. While the practicality value based on student respondents was 82.39 with practical interpretation. However, overall practicality is very practical

    Quantitative data analysis carried out included data descriptions and respondent\u27s level of achievement in 4 (four) components, namely: context (context), input (input), product (process), output (result). Based on the results of the research that has been done, all incoming data meet the requirements for processing and analysis. Quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 27 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the questionnaire was given to 104 students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in the Department of Makeup and Beauty in 2018 which were filled in online via google form to answer the questions given about the evaluation of the implementation of practical learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the make-up and beauty study program. . statistical data of research evaluation of the implementation of practical learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, Makeup and Beauty Education Study Program. The table above shows that the number of data (N) is 104, mean 106.66, median 107, mode 109, standard deviation 6.99, variance 48.86 range 33, minimum value 91, maximum value 124, and total Overall score of 11093. To complement the research data collected through questionnaires, the researcher also collected data by conducting interviews with several respondents, namely 4 lecturers of makeup and beauty at UNP. When conducting interviews, data were recorded and important points were recorded from the contents of the interview. Interview data were collected by researchers related to components in the evaluation of practical learning during the Covid-19 pandemic of make-up and beauty education study programs, namely components of context (context), input (input), process (process), and product (result).Analisis data kuantitatif yang dilakukan meliputi deskripsi data dan tingkat pencapaian responden pada 4 (empat) komponen, yaitu: context (konteks), input (masukan), product (proses), output (hasil). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, seluruh data yang masuk memenuhi syarat untuk diolah dan dianalisis. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang terdiri dari 27 butir pertanyaan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Selanjutnya kuisioner diberikan kepada 104 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan pada Jurusan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan tahun masuk 2018 yang diisi secara daring melalui google form untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diberikan tentang Evaluasi Implementasi pembelajaran praktik selama pandemi Covid-19 program studi tata rias dan kecantikan. data statistik penelitian evaluasi implementasi pembelajaran Praktik selama pandemi Covid-19 Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan. Tabel di atas menunjukan bahwa jumlah data (N) sebanyak 104, mean 106,66, median 107, mode 109, standar deviasi 6,99, varians 48,86 rentang (range) 33, nilai minimum 91, nilai maksimum 124, dan jumlah skor keseluruhan sebesar 11093.     A needs analysis for the development of e-modules project-based learning

    This research aims to describe the results of the needs analysis for the development of electronic module project- based learning. This research was a qualitative descriptive study by using survey methods in identifying the needs of students and teachers in learning assessment. In this research, needs analysis refers to the achievement of student learning outcomes, problems faced by students, and the media needed in the learning assessment process. This research used observation and interview methods in collecting the data. Observations and interviews were done for the students of grade X of computers and basic networks subject at SMKN 5 Padang. The results showed that: 1) completeness of student learning 2) Interactive learning media needed on computer and basic networks subject. The results of this research concluded that students need interactive learning media in learning activities. Thus, this research is used in designing electronic module project based learning
