Job Satisfaction of Vocational High School Teachers
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between: 1) organizational climate with teacher job satisfaction, 2) commitment with teacher job satisfaction and 3) climate and commitment together with teacher job satisfaction. The research was conducted at SMK in Ciracas District, East Jakarta with a population of 362 teachers. Using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 0.05, a simple random sample of 191 teachers was taken. Test the hypothesis using a correlation test. For the measurement of job satisfaction variables, five dimensions are used: namely interest in work done with indicators (1) diligent work and (2) increasing competence. The dimensions of awards received with indicators (1) compensation and (2) promotion. The supervisor's ability dimension provides technical assistance with indicators: (1) academic supervision and (2) clinical supervision. In general, the results of the study prove that the job satisfaction of teachers working at SMK Ciracas District can be influenced by organizational climate variables and commitment variables. As for suggestions for research related to the integration model of the influence of organizational climate variables and organizational commitment to job satisfaction, it can be done in the scope of work of private organizations
Employee Performance Evaluation at IPDN North Sulawesi Campus
Human Resources are the main principle in an organization to achieve the expected goals. The performance of employees, especially at the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN) North Sulawesi Campus, requires evaluation, especially for civil service educators, namely caregivers. This study aimed to determine the performance and factors that affect the performance of employees (caregivers) at IPDN North Sulawesi Campus. The research used a qualitative approach, while the data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were the Head of the Civil Service Administration, the Head of the Parenting Subdivision, the employees (caregivers), and the IPDN Praja North Sulawesi Campus. In general, the results of this research are; 1) The performance of employees (caregivers) of IPDN North Sulawesi Campus is in a reasonably good category, this is based on the results of research where from five employee performance indicators, there are still two indicators included in the good enough category, namely “service orientation and work discipline, 2) Factors that affect the performance of employees (caregivers) of IPDN North Sulawesi Campus, there are four namely a) HR development, b) work motivation, c) supervision and d) work environment. It can also be seen that of the four factors that affect employee performance, only one factor supports the performance of IPDN North Sulawesi Campus employees, namely the work environment. In comparison, the other factors are HR development and work motivation. Furthermore, supervision does not support IPDN North Sulawesi Campus employees (caregivers) taking out the job
Blue Concept Economy Implementation in Coastal Communities Based on The Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation Perspective
This study aims to analyze the application of the blue economy concept to coastal communities based on the Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation perspective. This study is a qualitative empirical legal research (juridical sociological) with a conceptual approach. The data taken rom legal materials used include primary legal materials such as statutory regulations and secondary legal materials such as books, journals, and mass media articles. Factors and Reasons That Influenced The Misyar Marriage Phenomenon in Surabaya Urban Communities
This study aims to analyze the factors and reasons behind the Misyar marriage phenomenon in Surabaya urban communities. The practice of misyar marriage is a marriage in which the husband visits the wife's residence, but the wife is reluctant to move to the husband's residence. In the context of the phenomenon of marriage agreement (a study of the practice of misyar marriage in the urban community of Surabaya), each party also has a different background and purpose. This study used descriptive qualitative studi, it describes in a structured, accurate, and factual manner related to the problems that occur, which include cases of misyar marriage practices in the urban community of Surabaya. The results show that the practice of misyar marriage in the urban community of Surabaya has unique characteristics that are different from the initial form of misyar marriage carried out by the Arab community. The Development of Islamic-Based Pancasila and Civic Education Curriculum at Junior High School: Research at Junior High Schools in Cluster 5 Bandung Regency
This research departs from an idea of how to develop an Islamic-based Civics curriculum that can improve morality (character building or character). The research conductedat SMPN 1 Cileunyi, SMPN 1 Cilengkrang, and SMPN 2 Cimenyan. An Islamic-based Civics Curriculum development design can inspire independent learning in a student-centric learning process and an Islamic teacher. The core values Islamic values into goals, programs, implementation, and evaluation. The primary purpose of this study was to determine the implications of Islamic-based Civics Curriculum Development in Junior High Schools that internalize Islamic values. This research used qualitative research and development, a process or steps to develop a new product or improve an existing product, which can be accounted for. Data collection techniques were obtained using library research, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Transformational Leadership and Employee Engagement Analysis on Employee Performance Readiness to Change at Human Resources Development Agency
In government organizations, demands for quality improvement and the use of information technology in services are unavoidable due to the expansion of globalization. Through improving employee performance during dynamic environmental changes, organizations can make this happen. This study aims to determine and analyze employee performance by looking at the effects of transformational leadership, employee engagement, and employee readiness to change. The respondents of this study were 73 employees at BPSDM Kumham who were selected by the purposive sampling method. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires—data analysis using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. The study results conclude that transformational leadership and employee engagement have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. However, transformational leadership and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on readiness to change. Readiness to change was found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and is a full mediator between the relationship between transformational leadership on employee performance and employee engagement on employee performance. Changes that occur both inside and outside the organization will not have an impact on employee performance if they have equipped themselves with the various competencies needed to carry out their work
Life Motivation in Autobiography of Nick Vujicic Life Without Limits Literary Learning Perspective
This study describes Nick Vujicic's life motivation which includes extrinsic and intrinsic motivation to fulfill his life needs in his autobiography "Life Without Limits" from a literary learning perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results in Nick Vujicic's autobiography "Life Without Limits" show that Nick gets extrinsic motivation from his family, especially his father and mother, who encourage, mobilize, and direct Nick to make ends meet. Motivation from his parents encourages Nick to get the intrinsic motivation within himself to encourage himself to carry out his daily activities (physiological needs), feel secure about his future (need for security and protection), and feel loved and accepted by himself. Friends and family (the need to have and love) with a physical condition without arms and legs. Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation plays an important role that needs and complements each other in facing every difficulty and challenge in life, thus enabling Nick to fulfill his life's needs and get through his dark time
The Effect of Organizational Commitment and Work Culture on Civil Servants Public Service Performance in Tomohon’s District Office
This study aims to explain the commitment to public service organizations of sub-district civil servants in Tomohon then the influence of work culture on public service performance using quantitative methods. The authors analyze and explain the influence of the variables in the research concept model. The study results indicate that the effect of Organizational Commitment on Public Service Performance shows a positive and significant direction. Employees who have a high organizational commitment must be selectively prepared from the start (recruitment). It is hoped that with the recruitment of employees with a merit system, employees with a high organization can carry out their functions, duties, and roles. The performance of public services shows results that organizational commitment and work culture simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Moreover, the contribution of organizational commitment and work culture simultaneously to the performance of public services is 53.50%, while the other variable determines the remaining 46.50%. The conclusion of this study provides an overview of organizational and cultural commitment to the performance of civil servants as a sub-district public service in Tomohon; thus, the employees have continuity and respective roles following the existing sub-districts and functions
Green Human Resource Management Practice in Bangladesh Readymade Garments Industries
Green Human Resource management (GHRM) is not commonly practiced in the ready-Made Garments (RMG) sectors in Bangladesh. Only a few factories practiced the GHRM and they achieved many international awards as well as developed their business rapidly. RMG sector in Bangladesh could benefit from implementing GHRM and establishing sustainable development. This is the quantitative analysis and random sampling methods used to select the garments factories and representatives. Ten garments industries were randomly selected . Five managers were selected from different departments in each garments factory. They informed that the many obstacles to GHRM practices in the RMG sector in Bangladesh. The researcher found some major obstacles like organizational support, inadequate turnover of managerial interests, high costs of practice, and employee turnover. It is possible to successfully implement the GHRM practice in Bangladesh's RMG industry by implementing tight regulations and rules, supervision, training programs, incentives, and mandatory courses in the education system. The suggestion of this research paves the way for improved GHRM methods. The research outcomes would increase GHRM practice in the RMG sectors and may be utilized for innovative contributions to Bangladesh's RMG businesses
Development of Cyber Weapons to Improve Indonesia's Cyber Security
It is indisputable that technical advancements have an impact on a country's military capability and security. This is inextricably linked to the deployment of numerous technologies and new discoveries aimed at boosting the military's defense system. As a result of this predicament, all governments are attempting to modernize their defense systems in order to deal with dangers posed by technological advancements. This is both a challenge and an opportunity for Indonesia's existing defense system. The goal of this study is to look into the development of cyber weapons and how they may help Indonesia improve its cyber security. The purpose of this study is to utilize a descriptive qualitative technique to investigate or explain the concerns surrounding the importance of cyber weapons in strengthening cyber security in Indonesia. The conclusions of this study show that as the number of Internet users grows, so does the global trend of cyber attacks. It's difficult to compare precision cyberweapons systems to existing kinetic weapons because of their new nature. Additionally, the development and use of cyber weapons can yield economic rewards. Human resources, as well as support and cooperation from Indonesian cyber defense groups with professionals in the field of hacking, are all crucial variables to consider while designing cyber weapons
