The Role of Government Politics and Law in Building Public Participation in Elections
Get PDFThe use of voting rights in a general election is the subjective right of citizens (people) who have qualified to vote, but from the aspect of the interests of the state and nation, it can be considered that the use of voting rights / voting rights of citizens in general elections, in essence is a form of responsibility to participate in the administration of government. However, at the current level of reality there is a tendency for people to experience "frustration" and "political lethargy" to exercise their sovereignty through the mechanism of elections. This fact is due to the fact that people feel that their aspirations cannot be accommodated after the general election and presidential election. In addition, there is the influence of pressure groups (especially groups that want the disintegration of the nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) so that people better abstain and become "white groups". Therefore, a directed and effective government legal policy is needed to increase legal awareness of citizens participating in exercising their active voting rights in general elections and presidential elections.

Comparison of Sensitivity and Specificity of Alvarado Score and Tzanakis Score in Enforcement of Acute Appendicitis Diagnosis
Get PDFAppendicitis is inflammation of the appendix that occurs due to fecalitis, fibrosis, foreign bodies, or neoplasia. Based on WHO data in 2014, appendicitis is ranked 8th as the cause of death and is expected to continue to increase in the upcoming years. In the Southeast Asian region, the incidence of acute appendicitis is found in almost all Southeast Asian countries. Indonesia with a prevalence of 0.05% ranks first as the country with the highest incidence of acute appendicitis. Appendicitis has clinical manifestations in the form of visceral pain that is felt around the umbilicus, which within a few hours will move to the right under McBurney's point, fever, nausea, and vomiting as the result of infection. Difficulties in diagnosing acute appendicitis arise especially in pediatric patients, the elderly, and women of reproductive age because the symptoms they cause often overlap with other conditions
The Relationship between Service Delivery and Work Engagement on Nurse Performance at Bali Mandara Hospital 2022
Get PDFNursing services are the center of attention in every hospital because this service is a main activity that can be used as a benchmark for evaluating health services, especially in inpatient rooms. Performance measurement is carried out to improve the quality of providing nursing care, reduce costs, protect nurses from negligence in carrying out their duties, and protect patients from negligence in health services. Achievement of Indicators based on the Work Plan at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2021 with the performance indicator of the Percentage of Services program that meets Standard Operating Procedures is targeted to reach 100% and the realization reached 85.45%. In 2021, the target of providing salaries and benefits for health workers is 90%, and 87.07% is achieved. The research objective was to determine the relationship between service delivery and work engagement on the performance of inpatient nurses. This study used an observational design with a cross sectional. The number of samples selected was 241 people. Data analysis used multiple logistic regression test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between service delivery and work engagement on nurse performance. Variable work engagement is the most dominant variable influencing the performance of inpatient nurses at Bali Mandara Hospital

Boswa Megalopolis and the community of Aceh Jaya Regency, focusing on aspects of power imbalance, unclear provisions, and minimal legal protection for plasma farmers. Through an analysis of contributing factors such as social and economic structures, availability of information, and the limited role of the government, the need for regulatory reform and practical guidelines is identified to improve justice in partnerships. Furthermore, strengthening mediation institutions and implementing community-based partnership models are proposed as strategies to create sustainable partnerships. These findings are expected to provide insights for policymakers and stakeholders in creating a more just and sustainable partnership system in the oil palm plantation sector

No full textThe development of digital economy in Indonesia is growing rapidly along with the increasing use of internet and technology in various sectors. Fintech services are one of the main drivers of this development, especially in increasing financial inclusion. This study aims to explore the impact of fintech services on investment decisions among millennials. This study uses quantitative method with survey as the data collection technique, involving respondents who are active users of fintech platforms. The data collected was analysed using linear regression. The results of the analysis show that ease of access, low cost, transparency and time flexibility significantly influence their investment decisions. In addition, the study identified the importance of financial education in improving users' literacy and confidence in investing. The findings emphasise the important role of fintech in encouraging millennial participation in financial markets, as well as the need for appropriate regulation to protect consumers and support the industry's sustainable growt

This behavior is surely associated with the concept of organizational commitment. Furthermore, both variables (motivation and satisfaction in work) presumed to have a great impact on organizational commitment. Therefore, the aim of this study is to observe on how to enhance Generation Z’s organizational commitment through job satisfaction and work motivation. This observation is to explain on what Generation Z expects and values the most in the workplace and how employers can meet those expectations. Building Belarasa Habits in the Postmillenial Generation
Get PDFThis research is a qualitative research with a case study method approach that aims to find out the efforts to build belarasa habits, various forms of belarasa, and the impact of carrying out belarasa or compassion carried out by students of Darma Cendika Catholic University scholarship recipients from academic scholarship Aquinas. Thus, students of Darma Cendika Catholic University who received scholarships from academic scholarship Aquinas as many as 105 students were the subject of this research. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, and documentation. In data analysis using data reduction methods, data presentation, and inference. The results of this study showed that 1) 77% of the scholarship students from Academic Scholarship Aquinas consistently build attitudes and actions carried out through a six-step practice of habituation to build belarasa; 2) found various forms of belarasa, such as providing direct assistance in the form of goods, establishing cooperation to create business opportunities, providing inspiration; 3) the impact after doing belarasa can be felt both for yourself and the environment. The impact for one another is the existence of mental satisfaction or life satisfaction and encourages life to be more able to be grateful so that it becomes happy because it can do so, such as spontaneously being able to give thanks, can pray for those who suffer, can make decisions to provide assistance in what form. The impact for the environment is to form an environment around where scholarship students live felt more positive because it starts from him who develops sensitivity to be more able to carry out belarasa so that it can be transmitted to others around him, building networks by forming cooperation with institutions or other parties
The Effect of Investment, Free Cash Flow, Earnings Management, and Interest Coverage Ratio on Financial Distress
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to test investments, free cash flow, earnings management, and interest coverage ratio are affecting the risk of financial distress in healthy enterprises.. Healthy companies can be seen from how large the value of working capital, retained earnings, income before tax, market value and sales implemented in the measurement of the financial difficulties model with the Altman Z-score method. Collection of data by purposive sampling and number of samples as many as 33 companies in the category of healthy companies. The results show that free cash flows and interest coverage ratio significant effect on the financial difficulties of healthy companies whereas investment and earnings management had no significant effect on the financial difficulties of healthy companie
