    This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, ship charter prices and ship management on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty or commonly called charterers, by the shipping company world. The research sample was 200 people from charterers or customers from PT. Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk. The data were collected using a questionnaire and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as an analytical technique using the AMOS 22 program. The study results prove that service quality, ship charter prices and ship management have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The results of this study have implications for service quality, ship rental prices and ship management, which need to be improved to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty

    Optimization Increases Customer Satisfaction Through Mudharabah Financing Products and Brand Image

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of mudharabah financing and brand image partially and simultaneously on customer satisfaction at Commercial Islamic Banks. This type of research is classified as associative. The population and sample in this study were 92 respondents with a sampling technique using an accidental sampling approach. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously mudharabah and brand image had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Commercial Islamic Banks. Mudharabah financing variable has a greater influence than brand image in influencing customer satisfaction at Commercial Islamic Banks

    The study aims to determine the effect of firm size on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion, the effect of corporate profitability on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion, the effect of previous year's audit opinion on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion, the effect of accounting firm size on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion, and the simultaneous influence of company size, company profitability, previous year audit opinion, and accounting firm size on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion. The research method used in this research is a hypothetico-deductive method which is a systematic approach and valuable to produce knowledge to solve fundamental and managerial problems. Initially, the researcher determined the theme or problem area. Furthermore, the researcher identified a problem formula. Based on theories and previous research, the researcher made the hypothesis to be tested. This study focused on non-financial service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the partial test show that there is no significant influence of firm size ongoing concern opinion, there is the significant influence of profitability ongoing concern opinion, there is the significant influence of previous audit opinion of with going concern opinion, and there is no significant influence of accounting firm size ongoing concern opinion. The simultaneous testing result indicates that the firm size, the company profitability, the previous year's audit opinion, and the size of the accounting firm influence the acceptance of going concern audit opinion

    This study aims to analyze the legal position of the broker (broker) as an intermediary trader in the binding agreement for the sale and purchase of land in Indonesia, as well as the legal implications of the actions of the land broker in the binding sale and purchase agreement (PPJB) which resulted in the occurrence of defect of will(wilsgebreken/ defect of consent). This type of research uses the normative type, normative legal research is a process to find the rule of law, legal principles, and legal doctrines in order to answer the legal issues faced. The results of this study indicate that legal position of a broker (broker) as an intermediary trader in a binding agreement for the sale and purchase of land in Indonesia in the KUHD arrangement is classified based on an official broker and an unofficial broker. Related official brokers have been regulated in the provision of Article 62 of the KUHD that he must obtain an official appointment fromrequired state officials. Meanwhile, unofficial brokers through the provisions of Article 63 of the KUHD do not grant a monopoly position to brokers, in fact there is an article that allows the existence of unofficial brokers, namely without an appointment from the Minister of Justice and without an oath, namely Article 63 of the KUHD bsd 1792 of the KUHPER.     Gratification or gifts are criminal acts of corruption, if given to state officials or civil servants. The form of corruption is bribery. This corruption crime was only formulated in Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption (hereinafter referred to as the Corruption Law). The birth of the regulation regarding gratification as one of the criminal acts of corruption in the Anti-Corruption Law is a form of state anticipation in dealing with various new modus operandi in acts of corruption. In order to provide a sense of justice, usefulness and legal certainty in its implementation, gratification offenses should be prepared on a philosophical, sociological and juridical basis. The study aims to find out bribe and gratification acts. This study uses normative research methods. Moreover, as part of the element of offense in the criminal act of corruption with the offense itself being the recipient of gratification, the proof in gratification adheres to the principle of the reverse burden of proof. Therefore, in the Law on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, Gratification recipients are required to submit a report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) within 30 (thirty) days. the gratification report is received by the KPK, within 30 (thirty) days the KPK will determine whether the gratification is a bribe or not. If it is proven that a bribe is proven, the gratuity will become the property of the state and vice versa if it is not related, then the gratification becomes the right of the recipient of the gratification

    Determinants of Adolescent Pregnancy in Urban Slum Areas in Nigeria

    Abstract The study investigated Determinants of Adolescent Pregnancy in Urban Slum Areas in Nigeria. The objectives of this study were to investigate whether; Family background, friends and peer pressure, lack of knowledge on human sexuality, sexual abuse and media influence are determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum areas in Nigeria. Ex-post factor research and cross sectional survey method was used for the study. Population for this study comprised all adolescent girls in urban slum area, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling techniques consisting of simple, purposive and proportionate sampling techniques were used to select 1305 respondents from 6 selected states in the six geopolitical zone. Data was collected with the use of researcher’s structured questionnaire and tested for reliability with the use of cronbach alpha. A reliability coefficient of r = 0.93 was obtained. The 5 formulated null hypotheses were tested using inferential statistics of one sample t-test at 0.05 alpha level of significance. The findings of this study showed that: Family background was a determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum area, Nigeria because the calculated t- value t-3.693 is greater than t-cal. 1.960 at df (1285). Peer pressure was a determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum area, Nigeria because the calculated t- value t-8.341 is greater than t-cal. 1.960 at df (1285). Lack of knowledge on human sexuality was a determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum area, Nigeria because the calculated t- value t-2.847 is greater than t-cal. 1.960 at df (1286). Sexual abuse was a determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum area, Nigeria because the calculated t- value t-7.091 is greater than t-cal. 1.960 at df (1285). Media influence was a determinant of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum area, Nigeria because the calculated t- value t-3.250 is greater than t-cal. 1.960 at df (1285). The study concluded that Family background, friends and peer pressure, lack of knowledge on human sexuality, sexual abuse and media influence are determinants of adolescent pregnancy in urban slum areas in Nigeria. The following recommendations were made: Parents must be encourage to attend workshops on sexuality education, make contributions towards developing the school policy on sexual education, and provide learners with adequate resource material. The empowerment of NGOs with grants, political supports and friendly policies that will enhance the effectiveness of their duties in ameliorating the menace of teenage pregnancy. Skills acquisition centers should be established in every LGA to help adolescents who cannot complete formal education to acquire skills that will make them independent

    Construction of Reality and Social Criticism in the Frame of Online Media (Framing Analysis of News on the Kanjuruhan Football Tragedy in Tempo Online Magazine October 10-16 2022 Edition)

    The rapid development of social media provides easy access to unlimited information and freedom of information. Access to the internet allows every individual to access a variety of available information. Information about the Kanjuruhan football tragedy which caused many fatalities is an interesting topic for the media to cover. The methodology used in this research is framing analysis developed by Pan and Kosicky, while the approach adopted is a qualitative approach. The findings obtained from this investigation are that Tempo online magazine's reporting on the tragedy was critical, informative and very provocative. These indications can be seen from the results of the framing analysis carried out, namely in the framing of the main news: in the Kanjuruhan tragedy there were errors and omissions caused by the security team (either the political committee or police officers), syntactic elements: strengthening the main framing by using unbalanced quotes from sources and the news writer has too many opinions, script elements: strengthening the news, the How element to reduce the why element, thematic elements: there are 5 big themes in the news as material for the news writer, rhetorical elements: the use of cover photos and several graphics and words used to emphasize elements of news that seem hyperbolic and provocative. Furthermore, it can be concluded by researchers that Tempo Online magazine constructs reality for the purposes of social criticism to the Kanjuruhan tragedy competition committee and the government, especially the Indonesian National Police, in reporting through a framing process

    Kahoot: Let’s Have Fun in English Class with It!

      Motivation is required to have satisfying learning echievement in English because it drives students to study seriously without being forced. To improve students’ learning motivation, English teachers can integrate the use of technology in their teaching. One of applications which is considered to improve students’ leaning motivation is Kahoot, a game-based application. This research aimed to investigate learning motivation of students of SMA N 1 Belitang after experiencing Kahoot in learning English and English teacher’s perception toward the use of Kahoot. Questionnaire was administered to 43 second grade students and interview was done with one English teacher who used it in English class. It turned out that almost all students gave positive responses on the questionnaire and after being analyzed, students’ learning motivation was categorized into high category. Moreover, the English teacher claimed that students showed more interest in English after being introduced to Kahoot and their English scores were improved. The students’ improvement in motivation and achievement were resulted from competitive atmosphere on games and interesting display on Kahoot so that they argued that learning English is a fun activity
