In an uncertain environment, and increasingly high levels of competition, the competitive advantage of business organizations is becoming shorter and more difficult to maintain. Facing this situation, a strategy is needed in an effort to maintain competitive advantage in a sustainable manner. One effort that can be made is through technological capabilities and dynamic capabilities in managing the resources owned. One approach that can be applied by companies to face various challenges and opportunities is an approach based on the resources-based view (RBV). This study aims to determine the extent to which the RBV concept plays a role in providing solutions to the company's efforts to maintain its competitive advantage in a sustainable manner. Through the VRIO framework. The method used in this paper is a literature study, namely by reviewing reading sources related to the concept of competitive advantage through the RBV approach. Based on the results of the study, a company will generally have the ability above the performance of its competitors if it is able to apply the RBV concept. This is because the company is more focused on identifying and managing the potential resources (tangible and intangible) it has, so that it has a competitive advantage in the long term

Learning yellow books in Islamic boarding schools is one of the main pillars in strengthening the tradition of classical Islamic knowledge. However, the challenges of the digital era require innovation in learning methods, including the integration of information and communication technology (ICT). This study aims to examine and develop an ICT-based yellow book learning model that is in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of research applied being library research. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, which are analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that the use of ICT, such as digital interpretation applications, PDF versions of yellow books, and online learning platforms, can increase the effectiveness of students' understanding of the contents of the book, accelerate the learning process, and facilitate interactive discussions between teachers and students. However, the success of implementing this model is highly dependent on the readiness of infrastructure, digital competence of teachers, and support from Islamic boarding school policies. This study recommends the development of an ICT-based adaptive curriculum and continuous teacher training as part of the digital transformation of Islamic boarding schools

SPIRITUAL COMPANY AS A PREDICTOR OF COMPANY SUSTAINABILITY AND PERFORMANCE

The background of this research is driven by increasingly intense demands from stakeholders for companies to not only focus on financial profits, but also to be responsible for social and environmental sustainability. The concept of Spiritual Company, which encompasses values such as integrity, meaning in work, caring for others, and a balance between profit and ethical responsibility, is seen as a crucial predictor of corporate sustainability and overall performance. This study aims to explore the influence of the Spiritual Company concept on corporate sustainability and performance through a qualitative approach and identify the mechanisms, supporting factors, and obstacles that arise in the relationship between Spiritual Company and these two variables. The method used is qualitative research with case studies or in-depth interviews involving company leaders, managers, and employees as informants. Data is processed through thematic analysis, open coding, and data source triangulation to ensure the validity and reliability of the research findings. The results of the study revealed that companies that apply spiritual values in their organizational culture, including ethical leadership, employee empowerment, internal justice, and attention to social and environmental aspects, tend to perform better in maintaining sustainability in the economic, social, and environmental dimensions. In addition, Spiritual Companies also contribute positively to company performance, including productivity, job satisfaction, reputation, and competitiveness. However, obstacles are encountered, such as a lack of commitment from leaders, conflicts with short-term profit goals, and ambiguity in implementing spiritual values at the operational level. In conclusion, Spiritual Companies have proven to be significant corporate sustainability and performance predictors. To optimize the benefits, companies should consistently internalize spiritual values and incorporate them into their strategies, policies, and daily operational practices

The condition of the results of the MTQ (Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an) in Kerinci Regency, the achievements obtained are very worrying.  In the Decree (SK) issued by the Council of Judges in 2023, Kerinci Regency is in the last position, namely in 10th position out of 10 districts and cities that take part in the MTQ (Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an) event.  In the recitation branch competition, there are 8 group branches that are contested. Of the eight competitions in the recitation branch category, Kerinci Regency only managed to win two titles, and even then they were runners-up. The aim of this research is to improve the current condition of MTQ results, and the focus of this research is the causes and strategies to change the existing situation. The method used is field research by visiting the object to be studied directly to obtain data that is directly related to the discussion that will be discussed. There are several supporting factors that can improve MTQ performance, namely: first, training. It is needed to hone the skills of qori and qori'ah. Second, government support. Government support is needed both in terms of material and non-material. Third, completeness of facilities. Another supporting factor is that the facilities provided must be adequate so that qori and qori'ah can be comfortable in studying and honing their abilities in the art of reading the Koran. The conclusion is that the factors that cause the performance of Qori and Qori'ah in Kerinci Regency are in a very worrying condition, in fact for the last three years Kerinci Regency has been in the last rank, the cause is due to the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure provided by the Kerinci Regency and the lack of attention from the government both on services to qori and qori'ah and lack of appreciation so that there is no strong motivation from qori and qori'ah

THE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN IMPROVING THE ABILITY TO READ AL-QUR'AN THROUGH LEARNING GHORIP MUSYKILAT AT TPQ AL-AHSAN TAMAN SARI

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in improving students' Qur'an reading ability through ghorib musykilat learning at TPQ Al-Ahsan Taman Sari. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The ghorib musykilat lessons are conducted after students complete Books 1 to 6 and Juz 27 of the Qiro'ati method, with teachers providing direct and intensive guidance. The learning focuses on difficult words and special reading marks such as imalah, isymam, tashil, and saktah. The Qiro'ati method is selected for its effectiveness in gradually and systematically building students' ability to read the Qur'an, enabling them to recognize various types of readings and marks. Teachers at TPQ act as educators, guides, facilitators, motivators, and evaluators. Besides teaching correct reading techniques, teachers instill Islamic values and create a supportive learning environment to boost students' confidence. The findings reveal that the comprehensive role of teachers significantly contributes to enhancing students' ability to read the Qur'an accurately and fluently, especially in understanding and pronouncing ghorib musykilat readings. The applied learning approach also improves students' motivation and discipline

This study aims to examine the educational model implemented by SMP Muhammadiyah Gending Probolinggo in instilling religious moderation values in students. Religious moderation is a vital principle in fostering a harmonious social life within Indonesia's diverse society. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the school develops an integrative religious moderation education model through curriculum integration, school culture, teacher role modeling, and extracurricular activities. The core values taught include tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), i'tidal (justice), musawah (equality), shura (deliberation), and tahadhdhur (civility). The implementation of this model is supported by participatory learning strategies, community involvement, and evaluation methods such as attitude observation, social projects, and student self-reflection. However, challenges such as social resistance, the influence of digital radicalism, limited teacher capacity, and the lack of contextualized materials present obstacles that need to be addressed. The study recommends strengthening teacher training, promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration, and developing learning materials based on local wisdom as strategic steps to optimize religious moderation education

The Systematic and Authenticity Of Hadith In The Book Al-Ahadits Al-Mukhtarah By Buya Mawardi Muhammad (D. 1994)

This research is motivated by Federspiel's classification of hadith literature studies up to the 20th century, where one of its categories is reflected in the presence of the book Al-Ahadits Al-Mukhtarah by Buya Mawardi Muhammad. This book is a compilation of hadith used as teaching material in Islamic schools, and it serves as important evidence of the development of hadith studies in the Nusantara, particularly in Minangkabau. The focus of this research is on the 2 (second) chapter of the book Al-Ahadits Al-Mukhtarah, which has not been extensively studied before, as it contains hadiths on the themes of deeds and morals widely used in Islamic education. However, it has not been thoroughly examined in terms of writing systematics and hadith quality. Additionally, the writing of hadiths in that book in some parts does not fully adhere to the hadith writing rules formulated by scholars, necessitating a scientific study to assess its conformity with academic standards in the hadith discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis and takhrij al-hadits bi al-lafzhi methods to trace hadiths in the main book, focusing on 40 hadiths, which are analyzed in terms of sanad and matan and their conformity with primary sources (al-mashadir al-ashliyyah). This study found that the systematics of hadith writing in the book tends to be concise and thematic to facilitate student’s understanding. However, several editorial errors were found in both the sanad and matan aspects, which were most likely caused by the lengthy copying process, the involvement of calligraphers, and the use of references from secondary sources. In terms of quality, 72.5% of the hadiths are classified as shahih, 2.5% as hasan, and 25% as dha’if with varying degrees of weakness in the chain of narration. These findings indicate that the purpose of compiling the book emphasizes the conveyance of moral values and religious messages. Therefore, a scientific verification process is needed to improve the text and the hadith narrators so that this book remains suitable for use in the context of education and hadith studies.

IMPLEMENTATION ANALYSIS OF THE NO SMOKING AREA POLICY: BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN NORMATIVE GOALS AND FIELD REALITIES IN URBAN AND RURAL CONTEXTS

The No Smoking Area (KTR) policy is one of the efforts to control the health effects of exposure to cigarette smoke. Its implementation shows a gap between normative goals and reality in the field. Implementation disparities between urban and rural areas indicate that the local context plays an important role in the effectiveness of the policy. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of KTR implementation in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review approach with a focus on comparison between urban and rural contexts. The review procedure was conducted based on the PRISMA protocol by screening scientific literature from the Scopus database. KTR implementation faces multidimensional challenges ranging from weak cross-sectoral supervision and coordination, low public awareness, and social resistance to regulations. Compliance is higher in health facilities, but still low in other public spaces, especially in areas with limited institutional capacity. This paper emphasizes the importance of a policy implementation approach that is adaptive to local characteristics and actively involves community actors. This paper also offers practical implications for strengthening KTR policy governance in a more participatory and sustainable manner to support public health development goals

MARRYING BECAUSE PREGNANCY ON THE PORCH OF MEDINA (GORONTALO) (A COMPARISON)

Lenggota Lo Pohutu (traditional wedding ceremony in Gorontalo) which is based on the philosophy of ‘adati hula-hula'a to sara’, sara' hula-hula'a to kitabullah, basically fulfils the validity of marriage without the need to consider the state of pregnancy as part of the prenuptial requirements. The only prenuptial requirement that is regulated is the Khatam Qur'an which aims to determine the bride's ability to read the Qur'an on the night of the engagement (Mopotilantahu). In the discussion of Islamic law, the coefficient of the cause of pregnancy should be more important than Khatam Qur'an, this is because the provision of provisions against deviant behaviour which is the urgency of the law in various propositions and sources of Islamic law, the limits of association, the prohibition of khalwat, and the punishment for the perpetrators of adultery are more widely discussed. For this reason, a causality approach that is historically normative is used. The results showed that the concept of Muayyidat Shar'iyyah is the main piece whose needs must be at an urgent stage on the issue of isbat nikah because of pregnancy. The local government acts as an executor (legality) as well as a facilitator, customary actors as mentors, and people who are required to obey, while the task of supervision is the responsibility of everyone. Religious leaders act as the first post to educate and the centre of study with customary actors. Based on its urgency, the legal theme applied is the optimisation of the role of supervision of deviant behaviours
