    Effectiveness of Smoke-Free Area (KTR) Policy in Schools: A Study on High School and Vocational School Students in Padang City

    Adolescent smoking behavior poses a serious challenge to public health. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Smoke-Free Area (SFA) policy in two high schools in Padang City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving 37 students from Senior High School X and Vocational High School Y West Sumatera. The study findings revealed that although most students support the SFA policy, there is still inconsistency between their attitudes and actual behavior, mainly due to the lack of teacher role models and limited visibility of the policy. This study concludes that the success of the SFA policy depends not only on formal regulations but also on consistent implementation and active involvement of the entire school community. Participatory approaches and behavioral modeling are the main strategies for the policy's success in the educational environment

    Analysis of Social Values in the Quran to Overcome the Occurrence of Social Withdrawal

    Social withdrawal refers to a condition in which individuals avoid engagement in social interactions. This condition contradicts human nature as social beings who depend on one another. This study aims to explore the social values found in the Qur'an that can help address the tendency toward social withdrawal and encourage the development of harmonious interpersonal relationships. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method and thematic analysis of selected Quranic verses, such as Al-Hujurat (49:11), Al-Ma'idah (5:2), An-Nisa' (4:86), and Al-Mujadilah. The interpretation of these verses refers to classical and contemporary exegeses, including Fi Zilalil Qur'an, Tafsir Al-Munir, and Tafsir Al-Misbah, in order to uncover the meanings and messages contained within. The findings reveal that Qur'anic social values such as ukhuwah (brotherhood), mutual assistance, and empathy play a vital role in shaping a harmonious social order. Such an environment helps prevent social withdrawal by offering emotional and social support, while also encouraging active participation in healthy social interactions. Abstrak. Penarikan diri dari lingkungan sosial merujuk pada keadaan ketika seseorang menghindari keterlibatan dalam interaksi sosial. Kondisi ini bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam yang menekankan pentingnya ukhuwah, silaturrahmi, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai sosial dalam Al-Qur'an yang dapat membantu mengatasi kecenderungan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial serta mendorong terwujudnya hubungan yang harmonis antarindividu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka serta analisis tematik terhadap ayat-ayat dalam Al-Qur'an, seperti Al-Hujurat (49:11), Al-Ma'idah (5:2), An-Nisa' (4:86), dan Al-Mujadilah. Penafsiran terhadap ayat-ayat tersebut merujuk pada tafsir Al-Azhar, Tafsir Al-Munir, dan Tafsir Al-Misbah untuk mengekplorasi makna social yang terkandung di dalamnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai sosial Al-Qur'an seperti ukhuwah (persaudaraan), tolong-menolong, dan empati memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk tatanan sosial yang harmonis. Lingkungan sosial yang demikian mampu mencegah terjadinya penarikan diri secara sosial dengan memberikan dukungan secara emosional maupun sosial, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam interaksi sosial yang sehat

    INTEGRATION OF DA'WAH VALUES IN KHITOBAH AS STRENGTHENING THE ISLAMIC CHARACTER OF SANTRI PESANTREN ZAINUL HASANAIN GENGGONG PAJARAKAN PROBOLINGGO

    Speech (Khitobah) is one of the essential activities in pesantren education that not only trains public speaking skills but also serves as a strategic medium for strengthening the values of Islamic preaching (da'wah). Through khitobah, Islamic teachings are not only conveyed but also deeply instilled in the students (santri). This study aims to examine the integration of da'wah values in khitobah activities as a means of strengthening the Islamic character of students at Pesantren Zainul Hasanain Genggong. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that khitobah activities are conducted in a structured manner using the memorization method. The integrated da'wah values include monotheism (tauhid), honesty, justice, Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), responsibility, discipline, and cleanliness. These values are integrated through the processes of text preparation, memorization, delivery, and sermon evaluation. The khitobah activity significantly contributes to shaping the Islamic character of students, which is reflected in their behavior and social attitudes in daily life, both within the pesantren environment and in the broader community

    IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TAHFIDZ QUR'AN PROGRAM AT THE DARUT TAUHID TANJUNGSARI-KREJENGAN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahfidz Qur'an program at Pondok Pesantren Darut Tauhid Tanjungsari-Krejengan and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of its success. The main issues examined include how the program is carried out and the factors that influence its effectiveness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the program is implemented systematically through structured memorization methods, and regular evaluations. Supporting factors include students' internal motivation, teacher competence, and a conducive environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time, students' busy schedules, and a lack of understanding of proper articulation (makharijul huruf) and tajweed. These findings are expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of Tahfidz programs in Islamic boarding schools

    The aim of this research is to examine the problems of learning Characteristics and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN Patokan 1 Kraksaan, Probolinggo Regency. Character education and PAI have an important role in developing the morals and character of students from the start of life. However, in practice, there are usually a number of problems that hinder the efficient achievement of learning objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with PAI teachers, school administrators and students, as well as documentation of educational activities.The research results obtained show that there are learning problems of Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 13 Gowa include: 1. Students who It's easy to get bored in learning because of the motivation of the teacher lacking, 2. Educators who are less varied in using methods, 3. Very minimal facilities and infrastructure are also one of the causes of learning problems

    IMPROVING THE DISCIPLINE OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE THROUGH MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIM)-BASED SUPERVISION AT AR-ROFI'IYYAH ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN KRAKSAAN, PROBOLINGO

    The school is facing challenges related to weaknesses in teacher discipline in carrying out daily tasks, such as frequent lateness, lack of reporting on learning activities, and poor classroom management. This study uses a qualitative approach and a school behavior research method conducted in two cycles. The instruments used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The use of a School Information Management System (SIM) was implemented through a simple application that covers online attendance, educational activities, and daily performance assessment. The results showed a significant improvement in teacher discipline, with attendance increasing from 76% to 94% after the implementation of the SIM. Additionally, teachers became more motivated due to increased transparency and a better reporting system. This study concludes that SIM-based supervision and accountability-driven discipline are highly effective in improving teacher performance

The rise of digitalization and the adoption of hybrid work systems have encouraged a more flexible approach to work, enabling people to operate from virtually anywhere. This Coworking Space design adopts the Design Thinking methodology—an empathetic, user-centered problem-solving approach that emphasizes iterative development. Rather than focusing on identifying problems, the primary objective is to gather concrete data regarding spatial organization and the core functions typically present in Coworking Spaces, particularly within the Samarinda region. The goal is to develop a shared workspace that promotes ergonomics, adaptability, and enhanced user productivity. The central design concept combines Biophilic and Zen Modern principles to cultivate a tranquil atmosphere through the integration of natural elements and a minimalist, balanced aesthetic. The selected materials emphasize both natural and semi-industrial characteristics, including wood, glass, stone, metal grilles, and exposed concrete. Spatial zoning is tailored according to functional needs, encompassing private rooms, both open and enclosed coworking areas, meeting rooms, a mini restaurant, lounge, pantry, and rooftop facilities—providing users with the flexibility to choose work environments that suit their preferences and requirements. This design aspires to serve as a modern, efficient, and adaptable workspace solution that also supports the psychological and physical well-being of its users

    THE EFFECT OF INVESTMENT DECISIONS, FUNDING DECISIONS AND DIVIDEND POLICY ON FIRM VALUE AT PT. UNILEVER INDONESIA TBK. YEAR 2014 TO 2023

    This study aims to determine how the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions and dividend policy on firm value at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. 2014 to 2025. By using secondary data in the form of company financial statements, multiple linear regression analysis, rdeterminant coefficient and hypothesis testing, the results show that partially investment decisions have a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, funding decisions have a positive and significant effect on firm value, dividend policy has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. Simultaneously investment decisions, funding decisions and dividend policy have a significant effect on firm value with an influence of 96.7%

    LEARNING, PROCESS, PHASE AND GROWTH OF KNOWLEDGE IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

    This article aims to integrate the perspectives of Islamic educational psychology and the Qur'an in understanding the learning process and the periodization of human development. In Islamic educational psychology, learning is seen as a process of behavioral change and the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, which is based on the theories of tazkiyah, tawhid, tarbiyah, tabi'ah, and fitrah learning. The learning process itself involves pre-learning, learning, and post-learning stages, and goes through the information, transformation, and evaluation phases. Furthermore, this article links the stages of psychological development with the periodization of development in the Qur'an. The Qur'an provides a basic framework for human development from conception to old age, with an emphasis on biological and spiritual aspects. Psychology complements this view by providing details of psychological, cognitive, social, and emotional development at each phase. Islamic education plays an important role in integrating religious values throughout the stages of development, starting from Islamic prenatal care, introduction of basic teachings in childhood, to strengthening understanding and practice of religion in adolescence as preparation for responsible adulthood. This integration provides a holistic understanding of human development that is in line with Islamic values

    REPRESENTATION OF SPIRITUAL VALUES IN NUSSA DAN RARA ANIMATION AND ITS RELEVANCE TO ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

    Amid the rapid flow of digitalization and the dominance of visual culture, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces strategic challenges in conveying spiritual values to the younger generation. Children growing up in digital ecosystems tend to be more responsive to emotional and visual narratives than to conventional verbal approaches. This study aims to analyze the representation of spiritual values in the animated series Nussa and Rara and to explore its relevance to Islamic education in the digital age. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis method, this research examines selected episodes based on three main categories: worship, jihad (in its broader ethical sense), and exemplary character. The findings reveal that Nussa and Rara consistently deliver Islamic values through narrative, visual, and symbolic elements that align with the developmental psychology of children. These values are not delivered through instruction, but rather internalized through characters, everyday conflicts, and emotionally resonant resolutions. This study shows that animation can serve as an effective medium for strengthening religious attitudes, supporting the affective objectives of the Islamic education curriculum, and bridging learning spaces between school and home. Moreover, the series aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, making it a relevant instrument for thematic, contextual, and character-based learning in contemporary Islamic education
