Examination of Da'wah Communications on the Instagram @fuadhnaim Utilising Roland Barthes' Semiotic Framework
This study examines the application of Roland Barthes' semiotic theory in the analysis of da'wah messages disseminated through the social media platform Instagram. This research involved analyzing content posted by the @fuadhnaim account from January to October 2024. The research seeks to elucidate the denotative, connotative, and mythological significances embedded in reel-shaped preaching messages, while also examining the utilization of visual and verbal symbols to communicate Islamic ideals in the digital age. The employed methodology is descriptive qualitative, utilizing content analysis as the primary data collection tool. An investigation of the @fuadhnaim Instagram account revealed that the da'wah messages comprised five postings on faith, four on sharia, four pertaining to worship, and nine about morals. Certain reels also address prevalent topics and offline research articles. The da'wah themes presented encompass self-reflection, prayer, and critique of promiscuity, alongside an examination of falsehoods that expose social constructs, like the morality of "migrating children" and Islamic perspectives on soul mates. The findings indicate that Instagram is beneficial for da'wah, leveraging social trends to communicate Islamic ideals pertinently in the digital age.
Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes dalam menganalisis pesan-pesan dakwah yang disampaikan melalui media sosial Instagram. Studi ini dilakukan dengan mengkaji konten yang diunggah oleh akun @fuadhnaim selama periode Januari hingga Oktober 2024. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos yang terkandung dalam pesan-pesan dakwah berbentuk reels, serta memahami bagaimana simbol-simbol visual dan verbal digunakan untuk menyampaikan nilai-nilai Islam di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan analisis konten sebagai teknik utama pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan analisis konten akun Instagram @fuadhnaim ditemukan bahwa pesan dakwah yang disampaikan mencakup lima unggahan tentang akidah, empat tentang syari'ah, empat terkait ibadah, dan sembilan mengenai akhlak. Beberapa reels juga membahas isu populer dan potongan kajian offline. Tema dakwah yang diangkat meliputi introspeksi diri, doa, serta kritik terhadap seks bebas, dengan analisis mitos yang mengungkap konstruksi sosial seperti moralitas "anak hijrah" dan pandangan Islam tentang jodoh. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Instagram efektif untuk dakwah, memanfaatkan tren sosial untuk menyampaikan nilai keislaman secara relevan di era digital
Training Model Development: Transforming a Conservative Da'i to a Moderate by Leveraging Digital Tools
This research aims to determine the development of a training model to transform conservative da’i into moderate ones by utilizing digital tools. The research involves a comprehensive analysis of the Da'i's current beliefs and practices, as well as an assessment of the available digital tools that can be utilized to facilitate the transformation process. The results of this research are a training model development that incorporates various digital tools, such as online courses, social media platforms, and digital libraries, to provide the Da'i with a broader understanding of different perspectives and teachings. The potential impact of this study is significant, as it could lead to the development of a more inclusive and progressive religious community. By transforming a conservative Da'i into a moderate one, we can promote understanding, tolerance, and unity among different religious groups. Furthermore, the findings of this study can be applied to other religious contexts, demonstrating the potential of digital tools in promoting religious harmony and understanding. LABOR RETENTION STRATEGY IN UMKM LEADING SECTOR IN SUNGAI PENUH CITY: Deky Hamdani, Indra Budaya
This study examines workforce retention strategies in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the leading sector in Sungai Penuh City. With high employee turnover posing a significant challenge to the sustainability of MSMEs in the area, this study aims to identify the relationship between workforce retention strategies and MSME performance. Through a quantitative approach based on secondary data, the study used sentiment analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the factors that influence employee retention and its impact on productivity. The results show that competitive compensation, career development, and a conducive work environment are positively correlated with retention rates and improved MSME performance. These findings provide a foundation for the development of effective workforce retention strategies for MSMEs in the leading sector in Sungai Penuh City
Jejak Sosial Ekonomi dalam Pembentukan Karakter Tanggung Jawab Siswa: Kajian di SDN 07/XI Koto Baru
A common problem that occurs in schools today is the low level of responsibility among students in their studies. This can be seen from students not taking notes during lessons, only doing assignments when told to, being unable to solve problems, and cheating on assignments by copying or asking others to do their work for them. This occurs due to internal factors within the students themselves, while external factors come from outside, one of which is social and economic factors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of socio-economic factors on students' sense of responsibility at SDN 047/XI Koto Baru. The research design is a mixed-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, using a descriptive analysis with simple regression. The population consists of 152 individuals, with a sample of 60 students from SDN 047/XI Koto Baru. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, while instrument testing employed validity and reliability tests. Qualitative data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions, whereas quantitative data analysis involved normality tests, hypothesis testing, simultaneous tests (F-test), and determination tests (R2). The results of the study on student responsibility at SDN 047/XI Koto Baru indicate that, in general, student responsibility is good and aligns with the indicators of responsibility, including: preparing activity reports both verbally and in writing, performing tasks without being told, demonstrating initiative to address issues within their immediate surroundings, and avoiding dishonesty in task execution
The Existence of Surau Tinggi Siulak Panjang as an Islamic Educational Institution in Kerinci (1951-1957)
Islamic Education Institutions in Indonesia grew and developed from surau, pesantren, and dayah, which are the forerunners of Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. Traditional educational institutions called surau were also developed in the Siulak Kerinci area. This is surau as a place to foster the generation of Islamic scholars in Siulak Kerinci. There were several surau in Siulak at that time, but the one that had an Islamic education institution was Surau Tinggi. This research aims to trace the traces of traditional Islamic educational institutions in Siulak that once existed. The method used is the historical method with stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study show that from 1935 to 1947, several Siulak people went to study outside Siulak and even outside Kerinci. They returned to their homeland to teach the knowledge gained to the Siulak community in their respective homes. In 1951, an Islamic education institution was established in Surau Tinggi, which was developed by several religious leaders in Siulak, namely H. A Khamis, Mat Serak who came later, Tarmizi, and Mat Run Salim. They succeeded in motivating the community and their friends about the importance of education. Finally, a formal Islamic education institution was established, madrasah (MTI), in 1957 and developed until it changed its name to MTsS Siulak Gedang; this is the first madrasah in the Kerinci homecoming section. From here, the forerunner of changes in Islamic education institutions in Siulak. This needs to be underlined in Siulak. There is a modernization of education, which was formerly surau to madrasah (MTI-MTsS).
Lembaga Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia tumbuh dan berkembang dari surau, pesantren, dayah yang merupakan cikal bakal lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Lembaga pendidikan tradisional yang disebut surau berkembang juga di wilayah Siulak Kerinci. Hal ini surau sebagai tempat membina generasi terpelajar Islam di Siulak Kerinci. Ada beberapa surau di Siulak masa itu, namun yang mempunyai lembaga pendidikan Islam yaitu Surau Tinggi. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menelusuri jejak lembaga pendidikan Islam tradisional yang pernah eksis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah dengan tahapan yaitu heuristic, kritik sumber, Interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menunjukkan, bahwa tahun 1935-1947 terdapat beberapa masyarakat Siulak pergi menuntut ilmu ke luar Siulak bahkan keluar Kerinci. Dan kembali ke tanah kelahiran mengajarkan ilmu yang diperoleh kepada masyarakat Siulak yang bertempat di rumahnya masing-masing. Pada tahun 1951 didirikan lembaga pendidikan Islam di Surau Tinggi, yang dikembangkan oleh beberapa tokoh agama di Siulak, yaitu H. A Khamis, Mat Serak yang datang belakangan itu Tarmizi, dan Mat Run Salim. Mereka berhasil memotivasi masyarakat dan teman-temannya bahwa pentingnya pendidikan. Dan akhirnya didirikan lembaga pendidikan Islam formal madrasah (MTI) tahun 1957 dan berkembang sampai berubah nama menjadi MTsS Siulak Gedang, inilah madrasah pertama di bagian Kerinci mudik. Dari sinilah, cikal bakal terjadi perubahan lembaga pendidikan Islam di Siulak. Hal ini perlu digaris bawahi di Siulak ada modernisasi pendidikan yang dahulunya surau menjadi madrasah (MTI-MTsS)
Qanun and Syariah Tourism in the Approach of Communication in Central Aceh
Explaining the communication used by the Central Aceh Regency Government in providing understanding to tourism actors and tourists about Qanun No. 8 of 2013 and the application of Sharia tourism in tourist areas in Central Aceh is very important. For this reason, this research aims to examine how the tourism Qanun is implemented in Central Aceh, then look at the challenges and opportunities for Central Aceh in implementing Sharia tourism based on the Qanun, as well as the role of communication in it. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with an exploratory approach. Data is presented according to facts that occur in the field and is organized and systematic. The research results show that to implement Sharia tourism, the Regional Government and Tourism Office use several communication approaches, such as educational campaigns, religious counseling, collaboration with ulama and religious figures, digital marketing, training tour guides, providing free food products, and promoting local culture. Most of the tourist areas in Central Aceh have implemented Sharia tourism in accordance with the Qanun issued by the Aceh Government. Although there are still several obstacles to implementing Sharia tourism in Central Aceh, the communication approach used has succeeded in increasing the number of tourists.
Menjelaskan tentang komunikasi yang digunakan Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada pelaku wisata dan wisatawan tentang Qanun No 8 tahun 2013 dan penerapan Syariah Tourism pada kawasan wisata di Aceh Tengah merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana implementasi Qanun pariwisata di Aceh Tengah, kemudian untuk melihat tantangan serta peluang bagi Aceh Tengah dalam menerapkan Syariah Tourism berdasarkan Qanun, serta bagaimana peran komunikasi di dalamnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif, data disajikan sesuai fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, terorganisir serta sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk menerapkan Syariah Tourism Pemerintah Daerah dan Dinas pariwisata menggunakan beberapa pendekatan komunikasi seperti kampanye edukasi, penyuluhan agama, kolaborasi dengan ulama serta tokoh agama, pemasaran digital, pelatihan pemandu wisata , menyediakan produk makanan secara gratis, dan Promosi Budaya Lokal. Sebagian besar daerah wisata di Aceh Tengah telah menerapkan Syariah Tourism sesuai dengan Qanun yang telah diterbitkan oleh Pemerintah Aceh walaupun masih ada beberapa hal yang menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaan Syariah Tourism di Aceh Tengah, namun pendekatan komunikasi yang digunakan berhasil meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan
Transformation of Islamic Communication: Optimizing Blockchain Technology for Digital Da'wah Content
This research aims to understand the potential and implementation of blockchain technology in the transformation of Islamic communication, particularly in the dissemination of digital da'wah content. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection process was carried out using documentation study tools, observation, and interviews to delve into in-depth information related to the dissemination of digital da'wah content. The research results show that the application of blockchain provides significant benefits for preachers and content creators, such as copyright protection through smart contracts, enhancing the credibility of da'wah content, and expanding audience reach. Blockchain technology, which supports encryption and decentralization systems, secures data from unauthorized access, thereby increasing user trust. This study contributes to the optimization of technology use, specifically blockchain technology, in digital da’wah content. The implications of this research highlight the importance of using technology to support and facilitate the dissemination of da’wah in the digital era.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami potensi dan implementasi teknologi blockchain dalam transformasi komunikasi Islam, terutama dalam penyebaran konten da'wah digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat studi dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara untuk menggali informasi mendalam terkait penyebaran konten dakwah secara digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa penerapan blockchain memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi pendakwah dan pembuat konten, seperti perlindungan hak cipta melalui kontrak pintar, meningkatkan kredibilitas konten dakwah, dan memperluas jangkauan audiens. Teknologi blockchain yang mendukung sistem enkripsi dan desentralisasi membuat data aman dari akses tidak sah, sehingga meningkatkan kepercayaan pengguna. Studi ini berkontribusi pada optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi terkhusus teknologi blockchain pada konten dakwah digital. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya penggunaan teknologi untuk mendukung dan mudahnya diseminasi dalam dakwah di era digital
BRAND AMBASSADOR AND BRAND IMAGE ON PURCHASING DECISIONS WITH WOM AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE IN ONLINE SHOP SHOPEE ON COLLEGE STUDENTS IN KERINCI DISTRICT AND SUNGAI PENUH CITY: INDRA BUDAYA
The aim of this research based on the problems above is to find out whether brand ambassadors and brand image have a positive and significant influence on e-WOM in decisions. The object of this research is all students in Sungai Banyak City and Kerinci Regency with a total of 50 respondents. The results of this research are that Brand Ambassadors have a direct influence on purchasing decisions as evidenced by the results of (0.001 < 0.05) and the calculated t value < t table (3.733 > 2.01063), Brand Image does not have a direct influence on purchasing decisions as evidenced by the results of 0.892 > 0.05 and t count < t table (0.137 < 2.01063), Brand Ambassador has no influence on WOM (Word Of Mouth) as evidenced by the results of 0.862 > 0.05 and t count < t table (0.345 < 2.01063), Brand Image has no influence on WOM (Word Of Mouth) as evidenced by the results 0.732> 0.05 and t count < t table (0.345 < 2.01063), WOM (Word of Mouth) has no influence on purchasing decisions as evidenced by the results of 0.140> 0.05 and t count < t table (1.503 < 2.01063)
MUSLIM PERSONALITY MOTIVATION AND RELIGIOUS ATTITUDE (CASE STUDY: ANALYSIS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY PERSPECTIVE)
This literature review article aims to review the relationship between religious motivation, the formation of Muslim personality, and religious attitudes, and their implications in Islamic education. Muslim personality is formed through the internalization of Islamic values influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and supported by religious education and the environment. Religious motivation is the main driver for individuals to practice Islamic teachings consistently, which ultimately affects the quality of personality. Religious attitudes reflect the depth of internalization of religious values and are manifested in daily behavior. This study found that the implementation of motivation, the formation of Muslim personality, and religious attitudes in Islamic education aims to produce a generation with noble character through the methods of exemplary behavior, habituation, and targhib and tarhib. A conducive educational environment plays an important role in fostering students' motivation and religious attitudes
