An analysis of teachers’ teaching styles to match students’ learning styles of IAIN Padangsidimpuan
Get PDFThe aim of this research was to see how the teachers match their teaching styles to students’ learning styles. The research was a type of qualitative research investigating and describing the phenomenon of teachers’ styles in matching students’ learning styles. It was conducted in IAIN Padangsidimpuan toward 10 classes of respondents consisting of 222 students and 10 teachers. To collect the data, questioners were given to students; interview and observation were given to teachers. Then, descriptive data analysis was implemented in analyzing the data that were collected. The research found that from the 222 students, 57 students are visual learners, 46 students are audio learners, 29 students are verbal learners and 90 students are kinesthetic learners. In relation to teachers’ teaching styles, it was seen that almost all of the teachers were regarded as good role models and facilitators which means that teachers like to ask students to make authentic task, give the examples related to students’ real life context, and facilitate the students with lots of interesting activities and games. Furthermore, to match kinesthetic learners, the teachers provided lots of games, to match visual learners the teachers used many pictures, to match audio learners the teachers also provided spoken explanation, at last to match verbal learners the teachers gave written explanation on the board. Finally, it can be concluded that teachers have tried to match their teaching styles to students’ learning styles. However, there is a need for the next researchers to investigate teaching styles in relation to students’ achievement

Get PDFRevolusi industri 4.0 memberikan dampak positif bagi setiap insan yang mampu mengikuti persaingan global yang kompetitif. Guru pendidikan agama Islam berperan dalam meredesign pembelajaran tanpa mengurangi nilai-nilai keislaman dan kemanusiaan dan mampu mengikuti perubahan di era revolusi industri 4.0. Pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dilaksanakan secara komunikatif melalui kerja sama antara peserta didik dan pendidik. Peserta didik memiliki kreativitas selanjutnya guru mengarahkannya dengan sejumlah inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 12 Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri di Cabang Dinas Sidimpuan Cabang Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pemilihan ke 12 tempat penelitian ini berdasarkan kondisi sekolah dari fasilitas sarana yang menunjang pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang mengaplikasikan digital. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan forum group discussion. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, display data, conclusion/verifikasi. Menjamin keabsahan data peneliti melakukan triangulasi.
Penelitian ini menemukan secara umum bahwa 12 Sekolah Menengah Atas dalam meredesign pembelajaran pendidikan agama masih dalam tahap merancang untuk menuju revolusi industri 4.0. Secara khusus bahwa peranan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam merintis redesign pembelajaran melalui media-media online serta pemakaian teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Pendidik dan peserta didik belum mampu menciptakan aplikasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam bersifat e learning, hanya sebatas pemakai saja. Peserta didik memakai internet dan perangkat komputer lainnya hanya sebagai mencari sumber materi dan masih mempublish materi pembelajaran melalui media social youtobe, facebook dan membuat member-member pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk dikaryakan
Comparison of learning outcomes of Islamic education subjects based on students' educational background in state X Padangsidimpuan middle school
Get PDFThe study was motivated by the large number of students with primary school backgrounds in the school than students with Madrasah Ibtidaiyah backgrounds in Padangsidimpuan Public Middle School so that this would raise the question of whether Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of students with Madrasah Ibtidaiyah backgrounds decreased and student learning outcomes behind Elementary School is much better.
The formulation of the problem that will be examined in this study is How is the value of learning outcomes of Islamic religious education students graduating from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. What is the value of learning outcomes of Islamic religious education students graduating from Elementary Schools in SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. How do you compare the value of learning outcomes of students graduating from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and students graduating from Elementary Schools at Padangsidimpuan Middle School. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the learning outcomes of students graduating from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and students graduating from elementary schools in SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan.
This research is a quantitative, comparative research. The population and sample in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan, with a total population of 273 students. The sample taken was 18 students graduating from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and 18 students graduating from Elementary School. The analysis used is a comparative analysis with the "t" test analysis technique to state the differences in the value of Islamic religious education learning outcomes between students graduating from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Elementary Schools in SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan.
The results of this study are seen from the calculations using the formula (t test) it can be concluded that, the average value of learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education students with Madrasah Ibtidaiyah background is 90.6666. The average value of learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education students with an elementary school background is 88.66666, and T test results obtained at 1.22792, at a significance level of 5%: tt = 0.3291, at a significance level of 1%: tt = 0 , 2785. Thus to is far greater than tt namely: 0.2785 0.3291. Then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that the hypothesis states that there are differences in the value of learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education grade VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan with students based on educational background of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Elementary Schools accepted or there is a comparison.
The conclusion of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah student learning outcomes value of 90.6666 while the value of elementary school student learning outcomes of 88.666 with the results of the T test of 1.6539 at a significance level of 5%: tt = 0.3291, at a significance level of 1%: tt = 0.2785. Thus to is far greater than tt, namely: 0.2785 0.329. Then Ha accepted Ho refused
Pemberdayaan sarjana tuna karya mensosialisasikan pendidikan karakter yang berdaya saing global di Kota Padangsidimpuan

Sarjana tuna karya mengembalikan image dan mainset berfikir masyarakat bahwa sarjana itu tidak ada yang menganggur. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan melalui sosialisasi pendidikan karakter yang berdaya saing global dan produktif di masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Community Based Reseach (CBR). Adapun subjek penelitian adalah sarjana tuna karya yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Wek IV Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Utara sebanyak 20 orang, dan juga masyarakat berusia 25-85 tahun berjumlah 125 jiwa. Prosedur Community Based Reseach melalui tahap peletakan dasar, perencanaan penelitian, pengumpulan dan analisis data, aksi atas temuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian berupa pengabdian dalam mensosialisasikan pendidikan karakter berdaya saing global di kota administratip Padangsidimpuan dilakukan dengan proses pemotivasian berupa pengabdian melalui kegiatan di majelis ilmu dan perhatian penuh dengan program ipas delivery dan armada Kehemaita serta contoh teladan, membagi plastik layak pakai serta membantu korban bencana alam

Get PDFThe objectives of the study were, to find out the result of student in learning Math before and after using problem based learning model, to find out whether problem based learning model able to improve students’ ability in learning Math. The material topic was Addition and Reduction of integer operations. The subject of the study were 33 students at the seventh grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 07 Medan Perjuangan in academic year 2018/2019. The object of the study was problem based learning model in improving students’ ability in learning math with th topic Addition and Reduction of integer operations. The data were collected by using test, observation, documentation and interview. The data were analyzed in several steps, they were: data reduction, data display, and verifiying/conclusion. The result of students’ ability in learning math before using problem based learning model was low. It was represented by percentage of students’minimum mastery criteria only 15,15% with average 52,27. After using problem based learning model, students’ ability was improved. The percentage of students’ minimum mastery criteria was 60,60% and 75 at the end of cycle I and 90,90% and 87.57 at the end of cycle II. As a result, the using of problem based learning model in learning math with topic Addition and Reduction of integer operations was able to improve the ability og the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 07 Medan Perjuangan in academic year 2018/2019
Pengembangan bahan ajar komik untuk meningkatkan minat baca PPKn Siswa MIN Ramba Padang Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

menghasilkan bahan ajar komik dalam meningkatkan minat baca PPKn siswa kelas 5
(lima) MIN Ramba Padang kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada
model pengembangan bahan ajar komik berjenis ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation, Evaluation). Uji kelayakan produk bahan ajar komik dilakukan melalui
siklus uji coba I dan uji coba II. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) bahan ajar
yang dihasilkan berupa komik telah memenuhi kriteria dengan skor rata-rata validasi
sebesar 95,56% atau berkategori sangat valid; (2) hasil uji coba telah diperoleh bahwa
bahan ajar komik yang dikembangkan efektif dapat meningkatkan minat baca PPKn
siswa kelas 5(lima) dengan skor rata-rata peningkatan yang lebih dari 23 atau
berkategori tinggi; (3) uji peningkatan skor minat baca PPKn diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar
komik yang dikembangkan telah meningkatkan minat baca PPKn siswa kelas 5(lima)
MIN Ramba Padang sebesar 23,24 dengan kategori tinggi melalui pengukuran angket,
dan sebesar 23,11 dengan kategori tinggi melalui pengukuran observasi pada uji coba I
dan uji coba I

This solution is given if there is no way out anymore to solve the problems that occur between husband and wife in their household. In the process of implementation there is a dualism of understanding in society. One side of divorce or thalak is the husband's right so he can freely drop it whenever and wherever he wants. This is done, of course, after careful deliberation and peaceful efforts by both husband and wife families. Such provisions are found in the fiqh of fiqh of the Imam of the sect one of which is the fiqh of the Imam Shafi'i sect. Fall of thalak like this is considered legitimate by people who have long held the understanding of the Imam of his school
