In this card, postmarked January 16, 1987, Dale Freeman writes to his cousin, Anna Buchanan to let her know that he has not forgotten her and informs her that he has included the photograph of his mother, Adeline Addie Whitten Jones and Anna\u27s mother, Texanna Texie Whitten Buchanan. The black and white photograph shows two older women wearing dresses and standing outdoors in front of a house with small trees behind them to the right. The back of the photograph includes two notes. The top notes reads Mama and Aunt Add her sister and the bottom note reads My aunt Addie Whitten Jones who lived at Tillatoba a long time and my mother Texanna Whitten Buchanan--Frank Buchanan. This set of three letters begins with a letter from Minnie Bready, dated May 25, 1985, to James Franklin Buchanan requesting the contact information he has for Jewell Crowell in hopes of furthering the genealogy research she\u27s doing. The next letter, dated May 31, 1985, is written to Mrs. David Bready by Buchanan responding to her request. The third letter, dated May 31, 1985, is written to Buchanan\u27s niece and nephew, Ruth and Charles providing Bready\u27s contact information to add her to the Buchanan meeting in the Fall.
