Pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) Melalui Sosialisasi dan Pelatiahn 3M Plus dan Ovitrap
Kecamatan Weru terdapat peningkatan kasus DBD tercatat pada tahun 2022-2024 berturut-turut 15 kasus, 25 kasus, dan 102 kasus. Tren peningkatan memerlukan penguatan strategi pencegahan dan pengendalian DBD melalui pengawasan vektor, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pola penyebaran penyakit dengan kegiatan sosialisasi 3M Plus dan Ovitrap ramah lingkungan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra tentang 3Mplus dan menambah keterampilan mitra untuk penanggulangan dan pencegahan DBD dengan ovitrap.
Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Weru pada 25 April 2025 dengan sasarn siswa SMA sejumlah 69 siswa. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari identifikasi kebutuhan Mitra, persiapan dan perijinan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan 3M Plus dan ovitrap dengan indikator keberhasilan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman melalui pre test dan post test dalam pelaksanaan sosialisasi, evaluasi dilakukan pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pelatihan. perubahan rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat dari 55,65 menjadi 85,50. Hasil ini mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya pelatihan PSN 3M Plus dan ovitrap pada siswa. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa terkait DBD diharapkan akan berdampak pada perubahan sikap dan perilaku positif siswa dalam pencegahan DBD.

English Communication Needs of Hotel Receptionists in Supporting Green Tourism
This study explores the English communication needs of hotel receptionists in supporting the implementation of green tourism practices. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis in three eco-certified hotels. The findings reveal that English communication is crucial not only for routine guest interactions but also for promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable behavior among international visitors. Receptionists perform various communicative tasks, including explaining eco-friendly programs, persuading guest participation, and clarifying sustainability policies. However, they face challenges such as limited environmental vocabulary, cross-cultural communication barriers, and insufficient institutional training. Despite these limitations, receptionists employ adaptive strategies such as language simplification, visual aids, and contextualization to convey sustainability messages effectively. The study highlights the need for specialized English for Specific Purposes (ESP) programs that integrate environmental and intercultural communication skills. It concludes that empowering hotel receptionists with targeted language training enhances not only service quality but also the hotel’s capacity to promote sustainable tourism values. Thus, effective English communication serves as both a linguistic tool and a strategic means of fostering green tourism in the hospitality industry
Examining the Impact of Scarcity Perception, Visual Appeal, and Fear of Missing Out on Impulse Buying: A Case Study of Blindbox-Popmart Consumers at Beachwalk Bali
Blind boxes have become a rapidly growing trend among teenagers due to their primary appeal, which lies in the excitement of “unboxing,” the chance of obtaining rare items, and the emotional experience offered through attractive packaging. This study aims to examine the influence of scarcity perception, visual appeal, and fear of missing out (FOMO) on impulse buying. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method with a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents who buy Blindbox PopMart in Beachwalk Bali. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with specific criteria. Data analysis was conducted using the Multiple Linear Regression Model with SPSS to test the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The results indicate that scarcity perception has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, visual appeal has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, and fear of missing out also has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying. The findings are expected to be applied by companies in the marketing field to create a sense of scarcity, enhance the visual design appeal of products, and leverage existing trends to boost sales and contribute to the enrichment of the academic literature on consumer behavior
Strategies to Improve The Performance of Private University Employees in South Tangerang with Importance Performance Analysis
Private Universities (PTS) play an important role in the provision of competitive higher education services, but face challenges in ensuring that the performance of human resources (HR) remains optimal to meet the demands of service quality, accreditation, and stakeholder expectations. The main problem that arises is the gap between the performance attributes that employees consider important and the actual perceived performance, which has an impact on motivation, work effectiveness, and institutional competitiveness. This study aims to diagnose employee performance attributes at PTS by focusing on identifying priority attributes, measuring the gap between the level of importance and performance, and formulating performance improvement strategies that can be implemented practically by management. The method used is Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) with 20 attributes that are evaluated through two dimensions: importance and performance. The results showed that the attribute of reward for work performance (MT4) was in Quadrant I, indicating high importance but low performance so that it required immediate intervention. Meanwhile, the attributes of leadership, discipline, and communication are in Quadrant II as organizational strengths that need to be maintained. These findings indicate the need to strengthen the reward system, leadership appreciation practices, and motivation strategies based on recognition and development. In conclusion, IPA is able to provide an evidence-based overview of priorities that help private universities effectively allocate resources to improve human resource performance and strengthen institutional competitive advantage
Peran Komunikasi Organisasi Dalam Meningkatkan Produktivitas Industri Alkohol Di Bekonang Sukoharjo : Studi Kasus Komunikasi Organisasi Kian Rejo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji peran komunikasi organisasi yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja di sektor alkohol di Bekonang, Sukoharjo. Industri alkohol di wilayah ini tidak hanya menjadi bagian dari identitas budaya lokal, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian masyarakat. Dalam menghadapi tantangan efisiensi produksi dan persaingan pasar, komunikasi organisasi menjadi elemen penting yang memengaruhi koordinasi kerja dan efektivitas operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada industri alkohol Kian Rejo. Data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian terdiri dari pemilik industri, pekerja produksi, pelanggan, dan komisaris. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aliran komunikasi organisasi, baik secara vertikal, horizontal, maupun lintas saluran, berperan penting dalam memperlancar koordinasi kerja, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan, serta menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif. Komunikasi yang bersifat terbuka, informal, dan didukung oleh nilai-nilai budaya organisasi seperti kekeluargaan, loyalitas, dan gotong royong, mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan produktivitas karyawan. Kendala utama yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan dokumentasi formal, ketergantungan pada pemilik industri, dan rendahnya literasi digital tenaga kerja. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam penguatan teori komunikasi organisasi dan budaya organisasi dalam konteks industri tradisional. Strategi Branding Desa Banjarbendo Melalui Budidaya Dan Pengelolaan Hasil Tanaman Herbal Bernilai Ekonomi Serta Pemasaran Digital
This community service activity was carried out in Banjarbendo Village, Sidoarjo Regency, with the aim of increasing the utilization of yard land through herbal plant cultivation and strengthening branding strategies and digital marketing of local products. Banjarbendo Village has great potential in the development of herbal plants such as ginger, turmeric, betel, and Javanese ginger, but faces obstacles such as low knowledge of sustainable cultivation, product management, and limited access to modern marketing. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach with active community participation, especially the women's group of RT 13. Activities included surveys, counseling, herbal cultivation demonstrations, product processing training, and assistance in the use of social media (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business) for product marketing. The results of the activity showed that the utilization of yard land can increase productivity, household food security, and economic value through the processing of products such as instant ginger and ginger latte. The implementation of branding strategies and digital marketing successfully strengthened the village's image as a center for herbal products and expanded market reach. This activity serves as a model for sustainable community empowerment by integrating agricultural innovation, product processing, and digital technology in supporting village economic independence
THE EFFECT OF COMBINATION SLUDGE, HUSK CHARCOAL, COMPOST, AND NPK FERTILIZER ON THE GROWTH SWEET CORN
The spice and seasoning industry produce sludge waste that has the potential to pollute the environment if not managed properly. This waste contains nutrients and organic matter, making it a potential soil conditioner for sweet corn cultivation; however, its use must be combined with other materials such as rice husk charcoal and compost. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of combining sludge, compost, husk charcoal, and NPK fertilizer on the growth and productivity of sweet corn. This study was conducted at the Cikabayan Experimental Farm using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five levels of sludge application: (1) 100% sludge (S1H2), (2) 75% sludge (S2H2), (3) 50% sludge (S3H2), all treatments were combined with husk charcoal (75%), compost (30%), NPK fertilizer (75%), urea (100%), (4) PB (NPK 100%), and (5) Control (no treatment). Each treatment was repeated three times, resulting in 15 experimental units. The results showed that the S2H2 treatment yielded the best results for all plant growth parameters, such as plant height, stem diameter, and all generative parameters. The S1H2 combination yielded the best results for soil chemical and biological characteristics, including pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, total microbes, and total fungi. The S1H2 combination also yielded the best results for corn plant productivity at 5.30 tons/ha. The combination of organic matter and NPK fertilizer application is highly efficient as it reduces NPK fertilizer use by 25%
Analisis Pelaksanaan Alih Media Rekam Medis Manual ke Elektronik di Pelayanan Rawat Inap RS Bhakti Mulia
The transition from manual medical records to electronic medical records (EMR) is a strategic policy of the Indonesian Ministry of Health through Ministerial Regulation No. 24 of 2022, which requires all healthcare facilities to implement digital recording. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the transition from physical documents to an electronic system in the inpatient unit at Bhakti Mulia Hospital. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including observation and interviews with six informants from the medical records unit. The research findings indicate that the hospital has established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the transition to electronic medical records, as well as retention policies for inactive documents, in accordance with national regulations. The transition process has been ongoing since 2022, supported by infrastructure such as scanners, computers, and the SIMRS application. Supporting factors are evaluated using the 5M management approach (People, Budget, Methods, Equipment, and Materials). As a result, implementation has not been optimal due to limitations in human resources, technical constraints with equipment, communication challenges, and human errors in the completeness of medical record documentation. It is recommended to increase the number and quality of human resources according to qualifications, provide further training, conduct regular system evaluations, and align communication between units. Therefore, support from management and regular evaluations are needed to ensure that the media transfer process can run optimally
Trauma and the Hero’s Mind: A Freudian Ego Analysis of Bruce Wayne in The Batman
This study examines Bruce Wayne’s psychological dynamics in The Batman (2022) using Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, with a focus on the ego’s role in mediating trauma and moral conflict. This study analyzes how Wayne’s unresolved childhood trauma and dual identity as a vigilante reflect the interplay between the id, ego, and superego. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, this study analyzes purposively selected scenes and dialogues from The Batman using close textual analysis. Audience reception data further support the interpretation of Wayne’s character as a psychologically complex figure. The findings reveal that Wayne’s ego adapts to internal and external pressures through ethical compromises, illustrating Freud’s theory of ego functioning. This study contributes to contemporary literary and film criticism by offering a psychoanalytic perspective on trauma and identity in modern superhero narratives
Model Picture and Picture Berbasis Digital dalam Keterampilan Menulis Teks Deskriptif Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Longkib
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture berbasis digital terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Longkib. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan model ceramah yang monoton dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen menggunakan model gambar dan gambar berbasis digital dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Sebanyak 34 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel menggunakan total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis deskriptif, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk menentukan signifikansi perbedaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen mencapai skor rata-rata 81,18, jauh lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dengan skor rata-rata 63,24. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa model ficture and ficture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis deskriptif siswa. Studi ini menyiratkan bahwa mengintegrasikan media visual dengan model kooperatif meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kemampuan menulis siswa. Namun, studi ini terbatas pada sampel kecil di satu sekolah, sehingga menunjukkan perlunya penelitian yang lebih luas untuk menggeneralisasi temuan.
