Having Fun with English pada Anak-Anak Jalanan Kota Parepare
Program "Having Fun with English" dirancang untuk memberikan akses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan bagi anak-anak jalanan di Kota Parepare melalui permainan edukatif di Taman Lamario. Dengan tujuan meningkatkan kosakata dan membangun sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran, program ini mengatasi keterbatasan akses pendidikan formal dan waktu belajar anak-anak yang sebagian besar dihabiskan untuk bekerja membantu ekonomi keluarga. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Bahasa Inggris mereka berada di bawah rata-rata, sehingga diperlukan metode pengajaran yang menarik minat. Inisiatif ini tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan bahasa, tetapi juga menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan antusiasme anak-anak dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris dan memperluas peluang mereka di masa depan
Personal Data Leaks Ahead of 2024 Elections: Threats to Integrity and Public Trust
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of personal data protection in Indonesia, especially ahead of the 2024 General Election, with a focus on Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Although the Undang-Undang PDP has provided a comprehensive legal framework, the results of the study show that challenges in its implementation are still significant, such as data leak incidents and weak law enforcement. The recommendations produced include increasing socialization and education, strengthening supervisory institutions, and collaboration between the government, institutions, and the community. With joint efforts, it is hoped that personal data protection can be improved so that the community feels safe in participating in the democratic proces
Menggugat Keberanian: Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga dalam Tinjauan Yuridis
This study aims to analyze the Judge's Legal Considerations in Decision Number: 89/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.Sdr and the application of the Material Criminal Law in the case. This study uses normative law research methods, which focus on theoretical analysis and deductive logic. The results of the study show that the application of criminal law to domestic violence by husbands against wives is in accordance with Pasal 44 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 tentang Penghapusan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga. The judge considers the fulfillment of the elements in the article based on the facts revealed during the trial. The defendant was sentenced to five months in prison and was required to pay a case fee of five thousand rupiah. In making a decision, the judge considers the prosecutor's demands, evidence, testimony, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, without any justifying reason to acquit the defendant of guilt
Kajian Yuridis Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Konsumen Akibat Perbedaan Harga Yang Pada Rak dan Kasir
This research is expected to be used as a reference in solving problems related to price differences on shelves and cashiers towards consumers and how Alfamart is responsible for the problems of price differences that exist on shelves and cash registers experienced by consumers. This research uses a normative-empirical research type with a statute approach and a social approach. The results of the study show that consumers can exercise their rights to hold Alfamart accountable due to differences in price tags on shelves and cash registers and Alfamart must be responsible by compensating for losses according to the price that must be paid by consumers and be more careful when replacing old price tags with the newest price tags on shelves so that consumers don't get confused
Perkawinan Usia Dini: Menggali Aspek Hukum dan Sosial Pengesahan untuk Anak di Bawah Umur
The legalization of marriage or isbat nikah is a legal process regulated in Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974in Indonesia, aiming to provide legal certainty and protection for married couples. The study focused on cases of marriage legalization in Martapura, South Kalimantan, from 2021 to 2022, which identified challenges in implementing regulations, especially related to unofficially registered marriages and the practice of underage marriage. The study results show that although there are clear legal provisions, their implementation is often influenced by the social and cultural norms of the community. The cases rejected and granted by judges reflect the complexity of handling serial marriages, where there is a conflict between state law and religious validity. A holistic approach is needed to raise awareness of the importance of marriage registration and protecting children's rights so that all marriages can be legally recognized
Memutus Rantai Kemiskinan: Upaya Pemerintah Merehabilitasi Gelandangan dan Pengemis
This study analyzes the strategy of the Gorontalo City Government in dealing with homeless people and beggars based on Peraturan Daerah No. 1 Tahun 2018 tentang Ketertiban Umum. This study uses qualitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness of policy implementation, barriers, and impacts. The results show that despite active efforts, the effectiveness of control still needs to be improved due to constraints such as lack of resources and public awareness. Control has succeeded in reducing the number of homeless people and beggars in some public areas, but long-term solutions still need to be strengthened. Inhibiting factors include a lack of coordination between agencies, limited rehabilitation facilities, and community response
Merek UMKM, Aset Bangsa: Langkah Tegas Pemerintah Memperkuat Perlindungan Hukum
The importance of product brand protection for MSMEs is regulated by Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2016 tentang Merek dan Indikasi Geografiswhich grants exclusive rights to registered trademark owners. However, awareness and participation of MSMEs in brand registration still need to improve, with only 175 trademark registration applications from 15,371 MSMEs in Gorontalo City. This study analyses the legal protection of rights to MSME product brands in Gorontalo City. A normative juridical approach is used in this study, with the analysis of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The study results show that socialization, education, and supervision are the government's preventive legal protections to prevent trademark infringement. In contrast, repressive legal protection is provided when there is a trademark dispute with a similarity in essence in the disputed trademark. This research is expected to make a theoretical and practical contribution to the development of MSMEs through adequate brand protection
Hak Konsumen di Tengah Ancaman: Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Makanan dan Minuman Tidak Berlabel
This study aims to analyze the legal protection for consumers against the misuse of halal labels on food and beverages traded in Parepare City, as well as understand the forms of legal protection available. Using normative and empirical research methods with a legislative approach and a conflict approach, this study combines primary and secondary data. The results of the study show that although there have been no reports of cases of misuse of the halal label in Parepare City, the local Trade Office is ready to follow up on consumer reports if any. As a preventive effort, the Trade Office is also active in providing education to the public through counselling about halal-labelled products, showing the commitment of the local government to protecting consumer rights related to halal products
Menegakkan Keadilan: Strategi Hukum dalam Menindak Penyelundupan Pakaian Bekas Impor
This research is to determine the substance of the legal regulation regarding the smuggling of imported used clothes. The type of research used is normative research. Meanwhile, normative research uses a rational-theoretical model with deductive logical reasoning (drawing conclusions from general to specific). Normative legal research tends to image law as a prescriptive scientific discipline. The steps taken to tackle the smuggling of used clothes in Parepare City are carried out in a preventive and repressive manner. Preventative action is to prevent the smuggling of used clothing so that the circulation of used clothing on the market decreases. In contrast, repressive action is an action taken against the smuggling of used clothing that aims to prevent perpetrators from wanting it anymore and to prevent smuggling, mainly used clothing (paws)
Indonesian Political Dynamics in National and Regional Elections
The introduction is that illustrates Indonesia as a democracy is facing an exciting new challenge. The democratic party which was originally separated in each region, will now be held simultaneously nationally in 2024. The purpose of this study is first, what are the dynamics of postponing regional head election in 2024 for 271 regions whose terms of office expire in 2022 and 2023 and second, what is the urgency of extending the term of office of the regional head until 2024. The research method used is normative juridical with the approach of legislation and phenomena, theories, concepts and legal principles. The study used is a literature study and analyzed descriptively qualitative with the use of primary data in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. related to the extension of the term of office of the regional head until 2024. The results of the analysis obtained on these issues are known that first, the postponement of regional head election from 2022 and 2023 to 2024 will result in a vacancy in the position of regional head in 271 regions. Then, the appointment of acting regional heads who will lead for one to two years to provide uncertainty to democracy in the regions which raises many pros and cons for the policies taken, it is feared that it will harm the principles of regional autonomy. Second, to avoid the filling of acting regional heads in the 271 regions, more effective and democratic steps are needed, so that the acting heads who lead the regions for one to two years are expected not to reap different perceptions in the community.
