Tinjauan Kritis Pergantian Antar Waktu dalam Dinamika Politik Indonesia: Perspektif Demokrasi
Full text linkInter-Time Change (PAW) in the context of Indonesian democracy is often in the spotlight in political dynamics. This research uses normative legal methods with a statutory approach to analyze the legal and political aspects of PAW. The aim of this research is to examine the implications of PAW in the representative democracy system in Indonesia as well as the relationship between council members and political parties. The research results show that PAW is often used as a control tool by political parties over council members who are not in line with party policies. In conclusion, PAW has a strong legal basis but needs a more transparent mechanism so as not to shift the direction of people\u27s representatives to become representatives of the interests of political parties
Adolescent Smoking and Its Association with Poor Nutritional Outcomes in Rural Pamekasan, Indonesia
Full text linkThis study investigated the relationship between active smoking and nutritional status among male adolescents aged 14-16 years in Kertagena Tengah Village, Kadur District, Pamekasan, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study design was employed, and a total of 55 adolescents were included using a total sampling technique. Smoking status was assessed using standardized questionnaires, while nutritional status was determined using anthropometric measurements, including body mass index (BMI). The study found that 76% of the adolescents were active smokers, with 69% of them being classified as undernourished. A significant relationship was observed between active smoking and poor nutritional status (p=0.018). The main contributing factors to poor nutritional status included an unbalanced diet, lack of access to nutritious food, and high smoking rates among adolescents. Smoking was found to reduce appetite and interfere with nutrient absorption, exacerbating nutritional deficiencies. The study highlights the urgent need for comprehensive public health interventions, including health education, stricter regulation of cigarette sales to minors, and community support to create a smoke-free environment. Future research should include longitudinal studies to clarify the causal link between smoking and nutritional status, broaden demographic coverage, and incorporate qualitative methods to explore the social and cultural influences on adolescent smoking
Exploring Community Perspectives on Household Waste Management in Dili: Insights from Lahane Oriental
Full text linkThis study explores the relationship between the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community in managing household waste in the Urban Village of Lahane Oriental, Dili. This study was motivated by the growing global and local challenges of waste management, particularly in urban areas where population growth exacerbates this issue. This research employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach, using questionnaires distributed to 96 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation to assess the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. The results showed that the majority of respondents (61.5%) had sufficient knowledge of waste management, while 62.5% demonstrated a positive attitude toward proper waste management. However, the community\u27s waste management behavior did not fully meet the expected standards, despite generally positive attitudes and moderate knowledge. These findings indicate that, although knowledge and attitudes play an important role in influencing behavior, the lack of adequate infrastructure and institutional support remains a major obstacle to optimal waste management practices. It was concluded that further educational campaigns and improvements in waste management facilities are crucial for enhancing community engagement in sustainable waste management. The findings provide practical implications for local governments and policymakers in designing effective waste management interventions that consider both behavioral and structural factors
Classical Islamic Education Socio-Historical Analysis of Curriculum and its Relevance in the Contemporary Era
Full text linkThe objective of the study is to evaluates the relevance of Islamic education methods in the classical era compared to the contemporary era. This study is a qualitative research, to analyze various phenomena in the form of literary facts and social facts related to classical and contemporary Islamic education. This research uses a literature study approach so that the data used is secondary data taken from document studies, reference books and academic journals that are relevant to the topic under study. This studi found that in general, the classical Islamic education curriculum is divided into two parts, namely the pre-madrasah curriculum and the post-madrasah curriculum. Although it has passed its golden age for centuries, the classical Islamic education curriculum remains relevant to contemporary education. One of its relevance lies in the foundation laid by classical Islamic education in developing critical and analytical thinking. Contemporary education also emphasizes the development of critical and analytical skills to answer the challenges of the modern era
Analyzing the Influence of Dividends on Share Prices in the Iraqi Stock Market from (2010 - 2020)
Full text linkThis study examines the relationship between dividend policies and stock prices among companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2020. This study utilizes a descriptive analytical approach, drawing on data from annual financial statements and disclosures published by the Iraq Stock Exchange. This study employs a simple linear regression model to analyze the impact of dividends per share and retained earnings per share on the market share price. The findings indicate a negative, statistically insignificant relationship between cash dividends and share prices, whereas retained earnings show a direct positive and significant correlation with stock valuations. Prior research in the Iraqi context has identified cash liquidity as the main determinant of dividend payout decisions, with shareholders favoring regular distributions, regardless of ownership. Studies also find a positive link between profit retention, investment opportunities, and dividends. However, broader challenges facing emerging stock exchanges, such as underperformance, speculation, and a lack of investor knowledge, can negatively impact market performance. This study provides a comprehensive, long-term analysis of dividend payout-stock price dynamics in the Iraqi market, offering valuable insights into how this relationship manifests in an emerging economy setting. The results contribute to the theoretical understanding of the factors driving stock valuation, and have practical implications for investment strategies and corporate dividend policies in Iraq and similar markets. Key recommendations include advertising campaigns to encourage savings, providing investment advisory services, and improving financial disclosure to build investor confidence
Kedudukan Fungsi Legislasi Dewan Perwakilan Daerah dalam Ketatanegaraan Indonesia
Full text linkThis research examines the influence of amendments to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia on changes in the structure of legislative institutions, especially the Regional Representative Council (DPD), with the aim of understanding their function, authority and position in the Indonesian constitutional system. This research uses normative legal methods with a statute and political approach, as well as descriptive analysis of secondary data which includes primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The research results show that although the DPD has a legislative function, its role and authority in the law formation process is still limited and tends to be treated as a complement compared to the People\u27s Representative Council (DPR) and the President. Even though the DPD plays an important role in voicing regional interests, its presence in the legislative function needs to be strengthened so that it can contribute more significantly to a more inclusive and democratic Indonesian constitutional system
Penguatan Peran Perempuan dalam Pendidikan di Pesantren Muhammadiyah
Full text linkThis research was conducted to empower ustadzah in Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools through an empowerment program to read the bald book, by applying the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method for five months, from March to the end of July 2021. The results of the research show that the ustadzah are very active in da\u27wah and general education activities through the Muhammadiyah association. However, the majority of Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school ustadzah lack competence in reading Arabic books which are the main focus of Islamic boarding school learning. The program that was implemented to empower reading the bald book was successful in increasing the ability to read the bald book simply among ustadzah. Based on these results, researchers provide several suggestions. Islamic boarding schools are advised not to involve ustadzah too much in activities outside of Islamic boarding school activities so that they can focus more on increasing Islamic boarding school competency. Simultaneous follow-up to programs that have been implemented is also needed. If weaknesses are found in future program implementation, a review needs to be carried out using appropriate research methods. In this way, efforts to empower ustadzah can continue to develop and make a greater contribution to Islamic boarding school learning
Parenting Patterns and Child Behavior: A Comparative Study of Single and Full Parents
Full text linkThis study aims to compare the parenting patterns of single and full parents and their impact on child behavior in Sementara, Pantai Cermin Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency, Indonesia. Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping a child\u27s personality and future. Based on Bronfenbrenner\u27s ecological theory, the home environment, especially parental parenting, has the greatest influence on child development. This study focuses on three parenting styles: authoritarian, democratic, and permissive. Authoritarian parenting is characterized by strict rules and limited freedom, while democratic parenting prioritizes the child\u27s interests and involves discussions between parents and children. Permissive parenting provides loose supervision and unrestricted freedom for children to behave and act as they wish. Previous studies have shown that single mothers tend to apply authoritarian parenting, resulting in spoiled children with difficulty interacting, while single fathers tend to apply permissive parenting, leading to more independent children who are easier to make friends. Additionally, authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting styles have been associated with aggressive behavior in children, obtained through social learning. Democratic parenting has been found to increase children\u27s motivation and achievement at school, while authoritarian parenting inhibits children\u27s socialization skills. This study provides important insights into the impact of parenting patterns on child behavior in the context of single and full parents in Sementara, Indonesia
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Round Table untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Tematik Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Full text linkThis study aims to find out the application of the round table cooperative learning model to improve thematic learning outcomes of the students in class V of state elementary schools 002 Rambah Samo. The background of this research is that the non-achievement of the learning objectives is reflected in the daily test scores of students in thematic learning and inactivity in the learning process. Of the 21 students, only nine achieved the KKM score, while 12 did remedial, and the KKM was set at 75. The subjects receiving the action in this study were students of class V, odd semester of state elementary school 002 Rambah Samo in the 2021/2022 academic year, as many as 21 students. Consists of 9 male students and 12 female students. The data analysis technique used is the model of collecting several instruments in the form of student question sheets. The results of this study were seen from the first cycle of the first meeting with 12 students, 57% of whom reached the KKM. In cycle one, the second meeting also increased again, with as many as 14 people, 67%. In the first two cycles of action, learning outcomes increased from 21 students to 17 (81%) students who had reached the KKM. At the second meeting, there were satisfactory results from 21 students, 19 (90%) of whom achieved the KKM. This study concludes that applying the round table type cooperative learning model to improve thematic learning outcomes of the fifth-grade students of the state elementary school 002 Rambah Samo was successful

This research focuses on developing interactive media content for an e-learning course, specifically designed for teachers at Pandu Pertiwi Foundation. The objective is to equip them with tools to create engaging Zen-based learning presentations. The methodology adopted is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, modified to include analysis, design, development, and implementation stages. During the development stage, the content underwent two cycles of evaluation by experts in material, learning design, and learning media. The implementation stage involved trials with three teachers, representing the end-users, to assess the content\u27s suitability and applicability. The findings from these expert and user trials demonstrate that the H5P interactive content developed is practical and suitable for use in educational settings, offering valuable insights into the effective use of interactive media in e-learning environments
