Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT) Kecamatan Tayan Hilir Kabupaten Sanggau pada Kegiatan Sosialisasi dan Pendampingan Sertifikasi Halal
This community service activity was motivated by the challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in fulfilling their halal certification obligations under the Halal Product Assurance (JPH) Law. Literacy and technical barriers in the certification process often hinder the potential for economic independence of MSMEs. Therefore, the Majelis Taklim Contact Body (BKMT) was identified as a strategic partner with a strong community base to reach home-based MSMEs and raise halal awareness at the family level. This community service program aims to increase the awareness and economic capacity of BKMT members and their mentored MSMEs. Specifically, this activity includes increasing understanding of JPH, technical training on developing a Halal Assurance System (SJH), and intensive mentoring to facilitate the acquisition of Halal Certification. The community service implementation method uses a participatory and educational-applicative approach, divided into four stages: preparation (needs identification), outreach (halal education and regulations), technical mentoring (SJH implementation and SiHalal registration), and evaluation and sustainability. The main outcomes of this program are increased literacy and public awareness of the importance of halal certification, the acquisition of Halal Certificates for MSME members of the BKMT, the provision of materials for socialization and assistance with halal certification, and the establishment of a Halal Task Force within the BKMT as a model for sustainability. Thus, this program is expected to achieve Sharia-based economic independence for the community by increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs and ensuring the right and awareness of halal product consumption for Muslim families
Revitalisasi Simbolik Istana Alwatzikhoebillah Sambas Pasca-Kolonial: Pelestarian Warisan Budaya Melayu dalam Perspektif Sejarah Material (2025)
The Symbolic Revitalization of the Alwatzikhoebillah Palace in Post-Colonial Sambas: Preserving Malay Cultural Heritage from a Material History Perspective (2025) examines how the Alwatzikhoebillah Palace was managed and preserved as a form of cultural heritage representing the center of power of the Sambas Sultanate and a symbol of Malay cultural identity. This research uses historical methods with a qualitative approach, through heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data collected from palace archives, colonial documents, old photographs, government records, and interviews with prominent figures and the families of the heirs were then analyzed to understand the palace's physical condition, social function, and symbolic meaning as of 2025. The results indicate that several parts of the building, such as the roof, ceiling, and foundation, have deteriorated, necessitating preservation efforts. Conservation efforts include the rehabilitation of building materials, regulation-based conservation, and the preservation of the palace's original form, through collaboration between the government and the community. These efforts not only prevent the loss of historical and cultural value but also strengthen local identity and provide a means of historical education for future generations

Sunni dan Syiah: Titik Perbedaan, Persentuhan, dan Kemungkinan Harmonisasinya
This study investigates the historical, theological, and socio-political differences between Sunni and Shia Islam. By examining core issues such as leadership, understanding of the Prophet’s companions, and interpretation of the Quran, the study highlights the complex factors that contribute to sectarian divisions. The paper then explores the potential for harmonization between the two sects, focusing on the importance of interfaith dialogue, education, and community-building initiatives. Although Sunnis and Shias share a common foundation in Islamic belief, their differing perspectives on key doctrinal and historical issues have caused sectarian tensions for centuries. The study argues that by fostering mutual understanding, promoting tolerance, and addressing the underlying political and social factors, sectarian conflict can be reduced and bridges can be built between Sunni and Shia communities.
