Digital transformation and the Society 5.0 paradigm require Islamic educational institutions to adapt strategically, not only in terms of technology, but also in values, ethics, and their social role. Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Pontianak, as an institution for character, spiritual, and intellectual development, holds a strategic position in preparing students to become navigators of digital change. This Community Service with Scientific Orientation (PKM-KI) was carried out in the form of a socialization program entitled “Digital Transformation as a Pillar for Strengthening the Role of Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Pontianak in Society 5.0”, targeting Ma’had administrators, musyrif/musyrifah, and resident students. The methods used included interactive lectures, presentation of national digital data, group discussions, and participatory approaches in a two-hour session. The results indicate five main outcomes: (1) increased awareness of the urgency of digital adaptation within Ma’had; (2) better understanding of the concept and position of Society 5.0; (3) strengthened digital literacy, ethics, and cyber security awareness, leading to the initiative to formulate a Ma’had Digital Ethics SOP; (4) broader insight into digitalpreneurship opportunities and the use of creative content as a medium for da’wah, education, and the creative economy; and (5) growing awareness of the importance of a collaborative digital ecosystem involving Ma’had, the wider campus, communities, government, and industry. Overall, this PKM-KI program provides an initial foundation for strengthening the role of Ma’had Al-Jami’ah in shaping adaptive, competitive, and solution-oriented students in the era of Society 5.0

Kontribusi Pemahaman Hadis dalam Memahami Hukum Cryptocurrency

The study of cryptocurrency law from an Islamic perspective presents an epistemological challenge that demands a deep understanding of the hadith as one of the primary sources of Sharia law. The increasing use of digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, coupled with the controversy surrounding their halal-haram status, has created a need to explore the contribution of hadith understanding in framing the legality of cryptocurrency. This study aims to analyze how understanding hadith, both textually and contextually, can provide a normative basis for legal assessments of digital assets. Using qualitative methods with a thematic and hermeneutic approach, this study examines hadith related to the principles of muamalah (muamalah), such as the prohibitions on gharar (unlawful exchange), riba (usury), and maisir (investment), as well as the concepts of justice and clarity of contracts. The research findings indicate that understanding hadith cannot be applied literally but requires reinterpretation based on maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah (the principles of Islamic law) to address the realities of the digital economy. Hadiths on riba-based exchange and the obligation to clarify exchange rates provide an ethical framework for cryptocurrency transaction mechanisms, while hadiths on trustworthiness and asset protection reinforce the urgency of regulation and transparency. This research reveals that cryptocurrency law is highly dependent on its usage characteristics: it can be considered legitimate as a medium of exchange if it meets the requirements of fairness, clarity, and freedom from excessive speculation, but is potentially prohibited if it dominates speculative and manipulative practices. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of developing contemporary ijtihad based on hadith to formulate guidelines for digital economic fiqh, enabling religious authorities to issue fatwas that are adaptive and responsive to modern financial innovations

Fungsi Kalbu (al-Qalb) menurut Tafsir Al-Marāghī

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the meaning and function of qalb (heart) from the perspective of Ahmad Mustafa al-Marāghī as presented in Tafsīr al-Marāghī, focusing on verses that highlight the role of the heart in understanding divine truth, particularly Q.S. al-Ḥajj: 46, Q.S. Qāf: 37, and Q.S. al-A‘rāf: 179. The study employs a qualitative research method with a library research approach, utilizing descriptive and interpretative analysis of the tafsīr text and relevant supporting literature. The findings reveal that al-Marāghī interprets the qalb not merely as a physical organ but as the center of spiritual consciousness that plays a crucial role in the process of thinking, understanding, and responding to divine truth. According to al-Marāghī, the qalb serves as a moral and epistemological instrument that bridges reason and faith, forming the foundation for human awareness, belief, and ethical behavior. This study emphasizes that the success of humans in attaining divine guidance and wisdom greatly depends on the purity and sensitivity of their conscience. Thus, the results of this study are expected to enrich the conceptual understanding of qalb in the corpus of Qur’anic exegesis and contribute to the development of Islamic ethics and spirituality in the modern era

Relevansi Falsifikasi Karl R. Popper dalam Pengembangan Metodologi Penelitian Pendidikan Agama Islam Kontemporer

    Get PDF

Adaptive Educational Resource Management In Remote Schools: A Case Study Of Infrastructure And Ict Challenges At SDN Batu Tunau, Indonesia

    Get PDF
This research investigates how adaptive educational resource management operates in remote school environments where infrastructure and information and communication technology (ICT) limitations create persistent managerial challenges. Focusing on SDN Batu Tunau, a public elementary school located on an island in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, the study explores the strategies administrators employ to sustain educational operations under physical and digital isolation. Using a qualitative descriptive case-study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that managerial functions are constrained by two critical external barriers: the physical inaccessibility of the school and the unreliability of internet connectivity. These barriers undermine logistical efficiency, routine maintenance, and digital administration such as Dapodik data reporting and ANBK assessment preparation. Nevertheless, the school demonstrates a form of reactive adaptive management characterized by local innovation, community collaboration, and an “offline-first” orientation in administrative and instructional processes. The study advances the theoretical understanding of adaptive management in education by framing it as a dual-layered system that links internal responsiveness to external policy environments. The paper concludes with practical and policy recommendations for strengthening infrastructure equity and managerial capacity in rural and island schools

The growing demands of twenty-first-century education require Islamic schools to integrate advanced cognitive competencies with moral and spiritual formation in ways that are pedagogically coherent and contextually meaningful. This study examines the implementation of the Multidimensional Project Model at SMPIT Al-Izzah Kotabaru as an innovative framework for merging Deep Learning principles with the Islamic educational paradigm of tarbiyah. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with Grade 8 teachers and students, and documentation analysis, supported by triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that the model effectively bridges disciplinary boundaries by positioning scientific inquiry within spiritually grounded learning experiences. Students demonstrated noticeable improvement in collaboration, task distribution, and conflict resolution key components of 21st-century skills. Importantly, these improvements were closely associated with the internalization of Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), and khalifah fil ard (stewardship of the Earth). Through ecosystem-based projects, students perceived environmental responsibility not only as a scientific requirement but also as an expression of religious duty, thereby strengthening their sense of purpose and accountability. The study concludes that integrating Deep Learning with tarbiyah-oriented project work produces holistic learning outcomes that cultivate both intellectual depth and spiritual consciousness. The Multidimensional Project Model serves as a replicable micro-level innovation for Islamic schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, offering a practical strategy to unify academic achievement and character development. Further research is recommended to develop measurable indicators for spiritual competencies and to explore cross-grade expansion of the model

Efektivitas Penyelenggaraan Sistem Drainase Guna Mengendalikan Banjir di Kota Pontianak berdasarkan Perda Kota Pontianak Nomor 5 Tahun 2016

The rapid physical development, especially in Pontianak Tenggara District, has resulted in a reduction in water catchment areas because open land is covered by concrete and asphalt. This study aims to reveal and analyze the implementation of drainage systems in overcoming flooding in Pontianak City and to determine the factors that influence the implementation of drainage systems in Pontianak City. This research applies a legal review directly to the field by conducting direct observation. Based on the research results, the Pontianak City drainage system has been regulated through Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2016 which covers technical and non-technical aspects with the aim of creating a healthy environment, free from flooding, and supporting water conservation. Its implementation includes the planning, construction, operation, supervision, and evaluation stages carried out by the PUPR Service and reported to the Mayor. Implementation is hampered by low public awareness and limited human resources and infrastructure. Furthermore, law enforcement against violations of regional regulations is inconsistent, and overlapping sanctions persist, preventing optimal achievement of drainage management goals

Pelatihan Penyelenggaraan Tajhîzul Mayit pada Siswa SMP Annur Bululawang Malang

This community service program was initiated in response to the limited direct involvement of students in the practice of tajhîz al-mayyit (Islamic funeral management), despite the fact that its fundamental concepts had been introduced in Islamic Religious Education classes. The main issue identified was the lack of hands-on experience, which caused students’ understanding to remain predominantly theoretical and insufficiently structured. Therefore, this activity aimed to reinforce correct comprehension while simultaneously equipping students with practical skills in accordance with Islamic teachings, particularly in the procedures of bathing, shrouding, performing the funeral prayer, and burying the deceased. The implementation of the program involved interactive material delivery, demonstrations using mannequins, group-based practice simulations, as well as reflective and evaluative discussions. The activity was attended by all eighth- and ninth-grade students of SMP Annur Bululawang, Malang, who participated with a high level of enthusiasm. The results revealed a clear improvement in students’ understanding of the stages of tajhîz al-mayyit, more organized and accurate practical execution, and increased confidence and mental readiness in dealing with death-related situations in their surrounding environment. In addition, students demonstrated enhanced empathy and a stronger sense of both religious and social responsibility. It can therefore be concluded that this training program was effective in developing students’ practical religious competence and is suitable to be implemented as a regular school program

Ta‘līq Surat Luqmān dalam Manuskrip Tafsir Jalālain Kyai Bakri Kajoran Magelang: Etika dan Humanisme Perspektif Pribumisasi Islam Abdurrahman Wahid

    Get PDF
Amidst the whirlwind of social change and the rapid pace of globalization, Islamic boarding schools in the archipelago preserve an intellectual heritage that has stood the test of time. One such legacy is found in the Tafsir Jalālain manuscript by Kyai Bakri Kajoran. The ta‘līq commentary on Surat Luqmān is more than a marginal note; it is a profound reflection on ethics and humanity, grounded in the realities of Javanese society. Each line of commentary fosters a dialogue between the sacred text and lived experience, linking the values of tawhid, gratitude, and filial piety with the moral challenges of the colonial era. Through a qualitative content analysis of seventy-three commentaries, this study explores how Kyai Bakri blends universal Islamic teachings with local wisdom. This makes the manuscript a space for the dialectic between tradition and the needs of the times, not merely an exegesis. Based on Abdurrahman Wahid’s theory of the indigenization of Islam, the study concludes that these ta‘līqs bridge the gap between the Qur'an's message and the social context of Javanese society, thereby strengthening the ethical and humanistic dimensions of pesantren education. This finding underscores the importance of preserving manuscripts by Nusantara scholars as a source of inspiration for developing inclusive, contextual, and transformative Islamic thought
