The preservation of human life is a fundamental principle upheld by all major revealed religions, including Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. In the modern era, where advancements in medicine, technology, and global crises present new ethical challenges, the religious imperative to save lives remains as relevant as ever. This research study explores the theological and ethical foundations of life-saving within the teachings of revealed religions, analyzing scriptural texts, traditions, and scholarly interpretations. It examines how these faiths emphasize the sanctity of life, the moral obligation to protect it, and the contemporary applications of these principles in fields such as healthcare, disaster response, and social justice. By drawing upon Quranic verses, Biblical teachings, and Judaic law, the study highlights the shared and distinct perspectives of these religions on life preservation. Additionally, it addresses modern dilemmas, including medical ethics, organ donation, and humanitarian aid, through a religious lens. The findings underscore the enduring significance of religious teachings in guiding ethical decision-making and fostering a collective responsibility toward saving lives in an increasingly complex world. In Islam, the act of rescuing and saving lives holds immense significance, deeply rooted in the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(Pbuh). The religion emphasizes compassion, mercy, and proactive assistance to those in distress. The Quran states, "Whoever saves a life, it is as though he has saved all of mankind" (5:32), highlighting the sanctity of human life. Similarly, the Hadith "The best of people are those who bring most benefit to others" underscores the moral obligation to aid others in times of crisis, difficulty and in danger. Islamic history is replete with examples of rescue missions, whether during wars, natural disasters, or personal hardships, reflecting the duty of Muslims to protect and support the vulnerable. This paper explores the theological foundations of rescue in revealed religions, its ethical implications, and its practical applications in modern humanitarian efforts.

Single Women’s Testimony in Islam: A Comparative Analysis with the Pakistani Legal Framework
This study examines the function and legitimacy of women's testimonies in Islam by contrasting them with Pakistan's legal system. Though there are variations depending on the situation and case type, Islamic jurisprudence has historically recognized the testimony of women, particularly unmarried women, in a variety of legal problems. Examining how Islamic principles relate to or differ from the Pakistani judicial system in relation to single women's testimony is the aim of this study. This study specifically aims to ascertain the degree to which Islamic jurisprudence informs Pakistani law and to pinpoint areas where interpretation or application may vary. To define the Islamic position on women's testimony, the study technique uses a comparative analysis, drawing on traditional fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and primary Islamic texts, the Quran and Hadith. Using Pakistan's constitution, case law, and statutes as a guide, these conclusions are then compared to the country's legal provisions, especially in criminal andcivil cases where testimony is crucial to the outcome. The findings show that whereas Islam permits women to testify in many situations, various interpretations of Pakistani law implement these principles differently, occasionally imposing restrictions based on gender or demanding supporting documentation. According to the report, Pakistan's court system does not alwaysadhere to traditional Islamic standards on women's testimony because of colonial-era legislation and current geopolitical factors. The conclusion underscores the need for a more nuanced understanding and application of Islamic jurisprudence within the Pakistani legal context to ensure justice and equality. It suggests potential reforms in the legal system to more accurately reflect Islamic teachings on women’s rights and testimony. This research contributes to broader discussions on gender equity in legal settings within Muslim-majority societies.

Nasir Kazmi's Uniqueness : ناصر کاظمی کی انفرادیت
All of the poetry of Nasir Kazmi is included in these collections "Barg-e-Nay", "Deewan", "Nishat-e-Khwab", "Pahli Barish" etc. The main reason for this is that he was not an externalist like other contemporaries. He is a poet at heart. Despite talking to his friends in restaurants and hotels, wandering at night, commenting on social and political situations and talking to passers-by, he used to spend time in solitude and think about poetry. Lived in the dark. The recognition of his personality in poetry is different from his biographical personality. Eliot, therefore, has not given any importance to the real personality of a poet. The personality that emerges in poetry, that criticism becomes noticeable in relation to poetry. The personality that emerges in Nasir Kazmi's poetry is a quirky and unique personality. It is beyond homogeneity, uniformity, axiality and monotony, it is a multifaceted, diverse and dynamic personality, it is formed by emotionality, aesthetics, thinking and dreaming. Basically, love is the driving force behind the colorfulness and vibrancy of Nasir's poetic personality. Love stimulates their creative power. They are imbued with the passion of love but do not separate it from their specific cultural and social environment; despite flying in the skies, their feet remain on the ground. They are suspicious of the distance of the beloved whom they want and long for his closeness, but they are deprived of the closeness of the beloved. As a result of this, they go through sorrow and pain and feel the burning condition of their liver. It turns into longing. In this way love becomes all colors for them. In Hasrat and Faraq, love is limited to leaving the beloved, in Nasir, love turns into the truth of human relationships, passion and attraction, as well as the tragedy of broken heart. Some Technical qualities of the poetry of Nasir Kazmi has been discussed in this article.

The Role of the Mother in Urdu Fiction : اردو فکشن میں ماں کا کردار
The portrayal of motherhood in Pakistani Urdu fiction is a profound exploration of cultural, social, and emotional dynamics. The mother figure emerges as a multifaceted symbol, embodying moral guidance, cultural identity, and silent resistance against societal injustices. This article examines how the mother’s role is articulated through four key thematic lenses: as a source of ethical wisdom, a witness to national traumas, a challenger of traditional boundaries, and a voice against systemic oppression. In Pakistani Urdu fiction, the mother often serves as the moral compass, offering prayers, unconditional love, and guidance that anchor familial and societal values. Her character is intertwined with spiritual devotion, reflecting a cultural reverence for maternal sanctity. Simultaneously, she becomes a living archive of collective suffering, documenting Pakistan’s socio-political upheavals—partition, displacement, and patriarchal constraints—through her lived experiences. Authors like Khadija Mastoor and Abdullah Hussain depict mothers not merely as passive victims but as resilient figures who internalize and articulate national grief. Modern narratives further subvert traditional archetypes by presenting mothers who defy gendered norms. Characters break free from domestic silences to confront oppression, symbolizing quiet yet potent rebellion. Their unspoken struggles against inequality—whether through suppressed desires or overt defiance—mirror broader societal tensions. The article concludes that the mother’s role transcends biological ties, evolving into a metaphor for cultural continuity and national consciousness. Contemporary writers, reimagine motherhood as an active, transformative force that negotiates tradition and modernity. This complexity reveals the mother as a site of psychological, historical, and social dialogue, reflecting Pakistan’s evolving ethical landscape. Ultimately, Urdu fiction elevates motherhood to a literary device that unveils profound cultural truths, positioning the mother as both a custodian of heritage and a catalyst for change, thereby mirroring the intricate interplay of identity, memory, and resistance in Pakistani society.
