This research project was carried to evaluate the colour fastness of cotton fabric some dyed with natural dyes obtained from plant and applied on by pad steam method. Due to the rising trend of going “green” all over the world, the revival of natural dyes on textiles have become crucial. Dyes from natural sources show improved biodegradability and are mostly environment ecofriendly. Their natural colouring substance is usually non-allergic,  non-carcinogenic non-toxic, and non-hazardous to the user as well as environment. However,  their non-uniform shades and poor to moderate colourfastness are some of the common drawbacks. In this research, dyes from alkanet root (Alkanna tinctoria), , madder root (Rubia tinctorum), cutch root (Acacia catechu), marigold flower (Tagetes erecta) and Turkey red (Rubia cordifolia) were used on cotton fabric. To appraise the prospect of improving their fastness properties, various dyeing auxiliaries have been incorporated in the dying formulas. Besides metallic mordants (alum, aluminium sulphate, potassium dichromate, copper sulphate, and ferric chloride), cationizing agents, finishing agents, crosslinkers and UV absorbers were applied by pre and post treatment techniques. Key Words: Natural dye, alkanet root, cutch root, madder root, marigold flower, Turkey red, pad-steam dyein

There is no doubt that the women of our time need to be educated on this subject, and this is because the Ummah in general is lax in this matter, while women in particular are disturbed.  And they are backsliders, they generally agree to bad traits and vices, bowing their heads before Iblis and his army, and this is the reason why they are averse to what Allah Almighty has commanded.  What was permissible for the people was that it was a way for their life and a way for their salvation. So this was the rampant spread of destruction due to which the hearts and faces were turned away from their Lord and their Creator, and when Shaytan prevailed over them, he made this Ummah forget its religion. To whom Allah has given the blessing of Islam, he should be aware of himself to avoid falling into the trap of (this misguidance) and this is only possible when the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,  Shari'ah should be followed so that in this way he can gain the pleasure of his Lord.Muslim women should be more careful and this is because woman is instinctively and naturally weak and weak.  There is more severe evil in it than in men and therefore there will be more women in Hell.  The Prophet said:- I looked into the fire and saw many of them were women.  That is, when I looked into Hell, I saw that most of the women were there.  A virtuous wife should take more care to fulfill the responsibilities that Allah has assigned to her regarding her husband and his household. Get PDF
Self-Orientalism is the concept about representation of Orient from Oriental perspective, using Orientalist style. Self-Orientalism largely relies on the reverse process of representation, giving the stereotypical representation and clichés of the Orient in the Oriental discourses and envisaging the Orient as Other which is called Self-Othering. In the current research the researchers have opted Khalid Hosseini’s The Kite Runner as primary source to analyze the text from Self-Oriental perspective. The researcher used Self-Orientalism by Dirlik (1995) and Daura (1996) as a theoretical framework and the nature of the researcher is analytical using qualitative approach. The research shows that Khalid Hosseini’s The Kite Runner is full of the issues which have already been highlighted in those texts which have been produced by Orientalists. Similarly, the primary text is full stereotypical images of the Oriental people, and most importantly the research shows that Oriental people want to migrate to the western world to appropriate with the western world because the West is privilege and facilitating the Orient while the Orient in comparison as presented in the text is distorted and submissive. Therefore, the text is the very example of Self-Othering of the Orientals people from self-Orientalist perspective. The Holy Qur'an is the last Holy Book of Allah Almighty to guide humankind. It contains the essence of all previous heavenly books, so this Holy Book guides man to the point where his intellect reaches its final limit. Thus, there was a surprising path. In this Holy Book, Allah Ta'ala invited a man to know himself through the signs of his power. Sometimes, man is invited to consider his body, sometimes he is invited to consider his environment, and sometimes to consider heavens. It is said that there is an invitation to gaze at water and fire. The purpose of this invitation is to divert the human gaze from matter and direct it towards the creator of matter. The different stages of human birth are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and also in scientific sciences, but there is a big difference in the purpose of both. To understand this difference, we can give an example such as a butcher cutting an animal like a bull by the head. The toe looks carefully, and the doctor looks carefully, but the purpose is different. The doctor will see which medicine is useful in this disease, which will relieve him from this pain, in the same way, when the Holy Qur'an mentions man and the universe, the intention is that man should meditate on these things. Let him know his purpose in life and by knowing his creator and owner, follow his enlightened principles, obey him, engage in the good and service of his creatures, and get eternal peace and comfort. The Halal Food Industry Faces many problems regarding Slaughtering Issue, The Most Important of them is the Slaughterer; because he directly carries out the slaughtering process, and he is the backbone in the slaughtering section, and through him the meat of the animal is permissible. Therefore, we see that meat has become an issue in which there are many challenges; because meat is the most widely exported and imported thing in the entire world, and it is used in many Halal products. It also affects the development of the country’s economy. And in view of these challenges, some bodies and Governments have taken an interest in setting Standards related to Halal Food, especially in the issue of slaughtering. These Standards must be applied in order for the “Halal Logo” to be stamped on products in the Halal Food Industry, and for good Halal food to reach consumers. Given the importance of the topic, in this research article we chose the standards related to slaughterer as a comparative study between Pakistan and Brunei Halal Food Standards, so that the study reveals the similarities and differences between the two standards, as shown through the study of standards that are based on it, and we learn how to mutually benefit from them. The slaughterer’s standards include the standards for the slaughterer to be Muslim, mentally sound, knowledgeable of the rules of slaughter, trained in the slaughtering process and the rules of hygiene and animal care, and for the slaughterer to be in a state of IHRAM. Keywords: Halal food, Slaughtering Issue, Slaughterer’s standards, meat, Pakistan, Brunei.   &nbsp
