    Employee Work Motivation in the Pamong Praja Police Unit, Public Protection and Fire in Gorontalo Province

    This study aims to obtain an overview of the Work Motivation of Employees in the Civil Service Police Unit, Gorontalo Province Community and Fire Protection. The research method uses a qualitative type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to research problems. The results of the study concluded that the motivation of Employee Work in the Civil Service Police Service Unit, Gorontalo Province Community and Fire Protection has not been fully implemented. Likewise, the indicators of social relations still need to be improved so that there is good communication between people, meaning that the work done is still overlapping, resulting in a lack of enthusiasm in completing work. The need for security indicates that employees have work certainty, even though it has not run optimally. Caused by inappropriate workloads make employees uncomfortable at work. While the need for recognition shows that employees who excel are given an award, although not all because there are still employees who do not adhere to the regulations in force

    Deep Breath Relaxation Training to Reduce Dysmenorrhoea Pain in Nursing Students, University of Muhammadiyah Gorontalo

    Dysmenorrhoea is one of the most common gynecological problems affecting more than 50% of women and causes an inability to perform daily activities for 1 to 3 days each month. One of the management of pain during menstruation is by relaxing deep breaths, namely by teaching clients how to do deep breaths and how to exhale slowly so as to reduce pain intensity and also increase lung ventilation and increase blood oxygenation. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to nursing students on deep breathing relaxation which can reduce menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea). Deep breath relaxation training is carried out through the pretest stage, the training stage and the post test. There are 42 students who were given training in community service, namely nursing students from the 2016 and 2017 Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The degree of dysmenorrhoea pain at the time of the pre test was mild pain 0% moderate pain as much as 81.0% and severe pain 19.0%. 9% and severe pain 19.0%. Based on the results of the training, it showed that most female students stated that this training was very useful because they gained knowledge and understanding of overcoming menstrual pain, after doing deep breathing relaxation students felt a decrease in dysmenorrhoea pain

    Vaccination is a process that occurs in the human body that will become immune or can be protected from various diseases. Since the establishment of COVID-19 as a pandemic, there have been various changes in the pattern of human life. This impact can trigger stress in society. Coupled with the emergence of some Vaccine related misinformation that hinders preventive measures. Anxiety is a natural psychological condition felt by individuals when they feel a threat to things that are not clear. Many methods have been used to reduce anxiety, one of which is the positive affirmation technique. Positive affirmations are hopes, prayers, aspirations to help form a picture in one's thinking power or self-acceptance statements (Abdurrahman, 2012). The people who were given community service training were the people of the village of Bulota, Talaga Jaya sub-district.     The purpose of this study is to increase public knowledge, especially people who visit the Poli Room of the Otanaha Hospital, Gorontalo City about administering vaccines in the fight against COVID-19. Vaccination is an absolute thing that must be a concern for all elements of society as the vanguard in an effort to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. Corona virus 2019 or covid-19 is a pandemic that has resulted in high mortality rates in various parts of the world. Knowledge of the good covid-19 pandemic and clean and healthy living behavior as an effort to prevent the transmission of covid-19 is important to apply. the public regarding the provision of vaccines in dealing with covid-19 and community behavior during the covid-19 pandemic. The research design used pretest-posttest. The research sample amounted to 20 respondents. Community Service (Counseling) is carried out 1 time in 2 weeks, the assessment of increasing knowledge before and after treatment using the descriptive statistical test obtained results at the pre-test with 70% good category, 15% enough and 10% less good and the posttest results with good category 80% and sufficient category 20%. Based on the results of the training, it showed that most of the students stated that this training was very useful because they gained knowledge and understanding of.     The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of solid medical waste at a Regional Public Hospital. which includes minimization, sorting, separation, storage, transportation, destruction/final disposal of waste. The results of the study are that the management of solid medical waste in a Regional Public Hospital in general does not meet the requirements of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning Hospital Environmental Health, but there are several things that are already optimal, so it needs to be further improved. Lack of concern for waste producers, both health service providers, visitors and patients, which can trigger the mixing of solid medical waste with non-medical waste. It is recommended that waste management officers need to increase supervision and good cooperation with nurses and cleaners in separating medical and non-medical waste. Management pays more attention to facilities and infrastructure both regarding procurement and in the implementation process and pays attention to the availability of its human resources

    Dulamayo Barat Village Community Empowerment in Agroforestry System Development

    Nowadays, land management requires a paradigm recondition towards wise behavior in utilizing natural resources. An alternative that can be consistently applied to support this is the application of agroforestry patterns. The purpose of this service is to provide counseling, training, and assistance to the community in agroforestry development. This activity was carried out in Dulamayo Barat Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. The method used is focused discussion and group training. The procedural activities are divided into three stages, namely planning (observation and socialization), implementation (counseling, training, and fostering productive activities), and evaluation stages (reviewing the participation of agroforestry developing communities). The results obtained in this service activity are: (a) observation activities describing the existence of forest destruction, monoculture patterns, cultivation without land cover, and low socio-economic aspects; (b) socialization is carried out to the village government to establish cooperation and request support in community empowerment; (c) extension is carried out by providing material on the prospects for agroforestry development; (d) the training content provides reinforcement for the community to choose a combination pattern of agroforestry and top grafting; and (e) the evaluation phase shows that 60% of the community participated in planning-implementation, and 47% participated in the evaluation of the agroforestry program

    The purpose of this program is community empowerment action through outreach on the Capacity Building of Village Apparatus in Ulapato A Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo District. This program is carried out as an effort to improve the understanding of the officials in carrying out their duties as service providers and to assist the officials of Ulapato A Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo District in implementing good service in accordance with the duties and functions that are implemented with a qualified capacity. Methods The implementation of this activity is carried out by using the lecture method, through the provision of materials adapted to the abilities and absorption of the apparatus as well as the community. This method is expected to provide knowledge and insights for officials and institutions as well as the community. The results and discussion show that the successful implementation of this community service program can be seen by the enthusiasm of all the stakeholders who were present, namely officials as well as the community. It is suggested to the village government that it is necessary to strengthen human resources within the village government of Ulapato A to be able to improve work quality services. Further improve training and socialization on increasing the capacity of village officials for the achievement of an organization

    Basic Life Support for Elderly Caregivers at Griya Lansia Jannati, Gorontalo Province

    This service aims to serve as an understanding for the community in carrying out basic life support to reduce the occurrence of deaths caused by delays and inaccuracies in first aid. The service was carried out at Griya Lansia Jannati, Gorontalo Province. The sample amounted to 16 respondents. Techniques and Methods of Implementation using Pre-Test and Post-Test. pre-test and post-test questionnaires given to training participants to determine community understanding before and after being given Basic Life Support training. Analysis of the data obtained an assessment of the increase in knowledge before and after treatment using the Descriptive Static test. The results at the pre test were in the good category 37.5%, and the less category was 62.5% and the results at the post test were in the good category 68.8% and less category 31.3%. Based on the results of the training, it was shown that most of the elderly caregivers stated that this training was very useful because they gained knowledge and understanding of Basic Life Support.     The research was based on the formulation of the quality service in giving of license and recommendations in the Office of National Unity and politics North of Bolaang Mongondow. As for the main purposes of this research was to know the quality service in giving license and recommendation in the Office of National Unity and Politics North of Bolaang Mongondow. The method used in this research is qualitative with phenomenological approach. The data collection is done by observation interviews and documentation and data analysis is descriptive, then checking the validity of the data. The result showed that the quality service in giving of license and recommendations in the Office of national Unity and Politics North of Bolaang Mongondow, in therms of quality quantity timeliness, effectiveness, independence, commitment to work im general, that is good so it needs the improvement of human resources in order facilitate achievement of the organization’s vision and mission

    Independence is a condition in which a person who has the will and ability tries to fulfill the demands of his life in a legal, reasonable and responsible manner for everything he does. The family has a very big role in the safety of the elderly, especially in preventing falls. The purpose of this study is that the public can find out the importance of family independence in carrying out family health tasks to reduce the risk of falling. There are five family health tasks that must be considered, including being able to recognize family health problems, being able to make appropriate action decisions, being able to provide care to sick family members, being able to modify the environment, and being able to take advantage of public health service facilities. It can be concluded that after counseling the family and the elderly have understood the task of family health, once a day the family teaches tandem walking to the elderly to reduce the risk of falling in the elderly in Pentadio Timur Village, Gorontalo Regenc
