The Effect of Counseling using decision-making tools for family planning on interest in using the IUD
Increasing the used of long-term contraception method of Intra Uterine Device (IUD)user required a good and quality counseling between the client and the provider (medical personnel). The research amis to determine the effect of counseling using decision-making tools for family planning on the interest in using IUDs in Dr. M.M. Dunda Hospital, Limboto District. The research type is Quasi Experiment, the population of all pregnant women who are admitted to Dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto. The sample was all 22 pregnant women who came in April 2020 which were divided into two groups, the intervention group and the control group. Sampling technique used accidental sampling. Data collected using a check list sheet and using chi square analysis. The results showed that X2 count> X2 table (6.6> 3,841) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it could be concluded that there was an effect of counseling using ABPK on the interest in using IUDs in Dr. M.M. Dunda Hospotal, Limboto District
The effect of health education on adolescent knowledge about cervical cancer prevention in SMP Muhammadiyah Pone
This study aims to look at the knowledge of adolescents on cervical cancer prevention. This study uses a quasi-experimental, namely experimental activities that aim to determine the effect that is caused. The sample used total sampling with a sample of 18 people using a one group pre-test and post-test design. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of health education on the knowledge of adolescent girls with a P-value of 0.001 <(α) 0.05. In conclusion, there is an effect of health education on the knowledge of young women about cervical cancer prevention
Implementation of Waste Management Policy with 3R Principles (Reduse, Reuse, Recycle) in the Gorontalo City
This study aims to obtain information about the Effectiveness of Terminal Type A. Isimu in Gorontalo District, the research method uses qualitative type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to the research problem. The results of the study concluded that the achievement of the objectives showed that the existence of the Isimu Type A Terminal had not been effectively seen from the human resources owned and the infrastructure owned by the terminal was incomplete and not maintained. Whereas the other factor is the low awareness of the community in utilizing the terminal. So that the achievement of objectives has not been effective. While the Integration shows that communication between users and related parties is less than the maximum, it needs to be improved through socialization to increase understanding of service users. The Adaptation Indicator shows the benchmarks of the procurement and workforce filling process in supporting employee performance is not yet effective, seen from the lack of personnel and the lack of quality resources to support the effectiveness of the Isimu type A terminal
Students’ Perceptions toward Lecturer’s Strategies in Teaching Listening during Pandemic of Covid-19
The aim of this research was to find out the students’ perceptions toward the lecturers’ strategies in teaching listening during pandemic of Covid-19. The research was conducted at English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. There were 26 participants in this research who enrolled listening subject. This research used qualitative method and the data were collected by using questionnaire that was designed in Google Form which accomodates 2 aspects, materials and learning activities. The result of the research showed that most of students find difficulties in learning listening through online learning because they do not have high-speed internet to access the material. So, it affected the quality of listening audio-audiovisual because the materials were fully online accessed. But, the students also showed positive and well-motivated attitude during online learning in Listening Subject. Most of students revealed that the materials that the lecturer provided during the process of teaching and learning can significantly improve their understanding to the content of listening materials and also improve their listening skill
The Role of Supervision and Education Authorities of Youth Culture Rovinsigorontalo in School Service
This study aims for this study to see the role of supervision of the Gorontalo Province Youthand Sports Education Officeinthe School System Servicesat SMKN 1 Limboto. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the supervisory role carried out by the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports was not maximally implemented. The role of the Youth and Sports Education Office, Culture, needs to be improved, especially interms of monitoringtheschoolservice system to improve the quality of education, especially in terms of improving human resources. This is often seen in the sub-optimal quality of the teaching staff's human resources, in addition to the lack of intense supervision of the school service system processbythe Gorontalo Province Youth and Sports Education Office, Culture, especially in Vocational High School
System for Development of Local Work Unit Budget Work Plan (RKA-SKPD) at the Housing Office the People and Settlement Area of Gorontalo Province
This study aims to determine the System for Formulating Regional Work Unit Budget Plans (RKA-SKPD) in the Public Housing and Settlement Areas of Gorontalo Province. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The results showed that in the preparation of the RKA- SKPD it was found that there were problems in its preparation. These problems are the lack of planning documents in the preparation of the RKA, budget constraints resulting in reduced budgets in program implementation, frequent delays in preparation time, copy and paste over the previous year's budget, lack of enthusiasm for budget efficiency and many other problems
The Effectiveness of the Application of the Institutional Flow Report System (Silabi) in the Working Unit Development of Settlement Area Gorontalo Province
This study aims to obtain information about the effectiveness of the application of the treasurer report system agency (SILABI) in the environment of the Gorontalo Province residential development area. The research method uses descriptive type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to the research problem. The results of the study concluded that the application of the agency treasury report system (SILABI) within the working area of the Gorontalo Province residential development area was not optimal due to the network in the application of this system which was not yet stable so that there were often delays in reporting, in addition to the ineffective management due to the available resources who do not understand and are familiar with the SILABI system

Education on the Use of Masks and Hand Hygiene in Preschool Age Children During the Covid-19 Pandemic At Mentari Kindergarten, West Pilohayanga Village, Telaga District, Gorotalo Regency
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause disease in humans and animals. In humans, it usually causes respiratory tract infections, ranging from the common cold to serious illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). This virus spreads very quickly and has spread to almost all countries, including Indonesia, this is certainly very disturbing to all levels of society, preschool age children are one of the age groups that are vulnerable to being infected with COVID-19. This is the goal of community service activities to increase the knowledge of preschool age children with "Education on the Use of Masks and Hand Hygiene in Preschool Age Children During the Pandemic". The method used is education using Power points, banners, videos and leaflets about the use of masks and hand hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this activity achieved good results because as many as 22 students participated in the counseling. It is hoped that this activity can help the community, especially preschool-aged children, to implement clean and healthy living behaviors, always use masks and wash hands to prevent infection with COVID-1
Challenges of Digital Literacy Education in Pandemic Period
The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world has had an impact in various fields including education. The application of teaching and learning from home forces educational institutions to switch to digital in implementing learning. The application of learning methods online provides new experiences in current learning methods. Various community responses are present. in response to this relatively new learning system. Rapid digital development and the current emergency situation demands that all stakeholders and all walks of life must adjust to developments. This is of course a common concern in providing solutions to existing problems, so that even in a pademi situation the teaching and learning process can still run smoothly. Digital literacy needs to be carried out extensively (starting from family, school and society), so that all these elements can not only use technology but can also make good and efficient use of it. This research uses a descriptive analysis method. The purpose of this research is to describe related media use. digital, in this case digital literacy, which can be used as an important key in the successful implementation of learning online during a pandemic
