Description of teachers' knowledge on the occurrence of syncope in State Junior School 1 kabila bone
Get PDFSyncope is an event of loss of consciousness and strength of a person's body that occurs from nowhere or without realizing it. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the teacher's knowledge of the occurrence of syncope. This study uses a qualitative research design with analytical descriptive method. With as many as 5 informants’ teachers. This study uses data collection procedures by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The procedure for checking the validity of the data uses peer discussion. Based on the results of research and interviews, it was found that, according to the informants, the description of the teacher's knowledge of syncope events is being able to know, understand, apply, analyze and evaluate syncope events that occur among students at school
Tackling Corruption in Indonesia: Lessons Learned and Future Directions
Get PDFThe aims of the study to know tackling corruption in Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative approach to assess the existing and proposed measures with regard to combating corruption in the context of studing Indonesia through the review of published academic and grey literature and series of interviews with a pool of selected informants consisted of officials, academics, and civil activist/Non-Government-Organization actors. The study confirms that corruption is systemic, and its occurrence is instituting, across the sectors, including civil society organizations, which often participate in corrupt practices. Describing the main findings of the research, the paper also points out that political will and leadership are the two factors that can affect the success of anti-corruption measures; at the same time, the paper also shows that there is an emerging contradiction between the words and actual actions in Indonesia and presented the KPK as an example of institution weaker due to the ideology gap. Lack of coordination of different organizations fighting corruption, also coupled with institutional fragmentation makes it even more difficult to fight the vice. Even though there are good laws in place, the enforcement and institutional measures are very weak and insufficient in many cases. It also highlights the social-economic impacts of corruption for democracy including its contribution to social- economic-economic imbalance and citizens’ disillusionment with government in the country

Exploring Best Practices for Innovation Management in a Rapidly Changing Business Environment
Get PDFThis thesis investigates successful strategies for managing invention in a dynamic business setting. This research uses a combination of qualitative interviews with business leaders and supervisors and a quantitative survey of company staff. The qualitative data identifies several best practices for innovation management, including continuous scanning of the external environment, cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, agility and flexibility, clear innovation strategy and vision, risk-taking and experimentation, resource allocation and management, leadership support and commitment, customer-focused innovation, and embracing digital transformation. The quantitative survey data reveals that while the majority of organizations have formal innovation strategies and cultures that encourage innovation, there is room for improvement in terms of having formal innovation processes, dedicated resources, formal metrics, and collaborations with external partners. Moreover, the results of the poll show a causal link between innovative management practices and particular leadership traits. Leaders who communicate a clear vision for innovation, encourage risk-taking and experimentation, allocate resources for innovation, provide support and guidance, and encourage cross-functional collaboration are more likely to drive successful innovation management practices within their organizations. Insights and suggestions for organizations to enhance their innovation management practices and maintain competitiveness in a dynamic business climate are provided by this study's results. Organizations can effectively navigate the innovation challenges and achieve sustainable growth and success if they adopt the identified best practices and exhibit the proper leadership behaviors

Get PDFInterest in making a purchase results from a combination of factors, including exposure to advertising, familiarity with the brand, familiarity with the product itself, and an examination of alternative methods of achieving the same goal. Marketing and societal pressures are examples of such outside forces. Comparing the marketing strategies, societal norms, and patient interest between RSIA St.Khadijah 1 Makassar and RSIA Ananda Mother and Child Hospital in Makassar is the focus of this research. This study is a quantitative observational study employing a cross-sectional study design. Univariate, multivariate, and bivariate analyses were applied to the data. Patients in the ob-gyn clinics at RSIA Ananda and RSIA St. Khadijah 1 in Makassar made up the bulk of the 187 participants in this study. The research found that RSIA Ananda and RSIA St.Khadijah had different marketing strategies, societal norms, and patient priorities. Managing, empowering, and evaluating the 7 parts of the marketing mix and social culture at RSIA Ananda and RSIA St.Khadijah jointly is recommended to the management

Get PDFBy comparing the levels of patient satisfaction at the Regional Special Hospitals (RSKD) for Mother and Children (Pertiwi) and the Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA), the purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between personal value and customer value (Sitti Khadijah 1 Muhammadiyah). In the present investigation, a quantitative observational study has been carried out by employing a cross-sectional design. Patients who were seeking general obstetric treatment at RSKD Ibu and Anak Pertiwi and RSIA Sitti Khadijah 1 Muhammadiyah BranchMakassar were recruited for the purpose of providing samples for this study. The findings of this study provide support to the hypothesis that an individual's own values and those of their potential patients interact significantly while making a decision about which hospital to utilize. When it comes to selecting a hospital, an individual's and a customer's personal values play a crucial influence in the decision-making process. According to the findings of research conducted on the aftereffects of RSKD, mothers and their children in the homeland place a high significance on living a quiet life as an essential component of personal value. Students' social position is given a significant amount of importance at the RSIA St. Khadijah 1 Muhammadiyah Branch in Makassar. The worth of the customer is put first in RSKD mother and child, although price based on behavior is considered to be the most important factor. It has been requested of the management at the Makassar locations of RSKD Ibu and Anak Pertiwi and RSIA St. Khadijah 1 Muhammadiyah that they conduct regular analyses of the priorities of their staff as well as their customers in order to enhance the quality of the services provided by making them friendlier and more accommodating

Work Discipline and Competency of the Democracy Volunteer of Makassar City in General Election 2019
Get PDFThis study evaluates the impact of work discipline and competence on the performance of the Makassar City Volunteer Democracy during the 2019 General Election, focusing on both individual and combined contributions. Using a quantitative approach, multiple regression analysis was conducted to explore these relationships. Data were collected from volunteers through structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS.21, employing correlation coefficients, T-tests, F-tests, and R-Square. Results indicate a significant positive relationship between work discipline (β=0.262 = 0.262β=0.262) and competence (β=0.579 = 0.579β= 0.579) with performance, with a combined effect explaining 57.4% of the variance in volunteer performance
The Role of Food Processed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Reducing Poverty Levels in Gorontalo Province
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the role of food-processed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in reducing poverty levels in Gorontalo Province. This research is a quantitative research. The data source in this study is secondary data obtained through the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Gorontalo Province Food Service. The data analysis used in this study is the Simultaneous Equation/Indirect Least Square. The results of this study indicate that food-processed MSME LQ and labor absorption have a negative and significant effect on the poverty of districts/cities in Gorontalo Province, both simultaneously and partially with a coefficient of determination of 91.372%. The more concentrated food-processed MSMEs are and the higher the labor absorption of food-processed MSMEs, the more they will be able to reduce poverty levels
