Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is currently facing increasing competition among banking institutions, prompting each bank to enhance service quality and diversify product offerings. In response, an effective marketing strategy is essential to increase public interest, particularly in gold savings products. This study aims to determine the marketing strategy used to attract customers to gold savings at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Marelan. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data sources include both primary data, obtained through observations and interviews, and secondary data. A SWOT analysis is utilized to identify internal and external factors influencing the bank's marketing strategy. The results of the study indicate that BSI KCP Marelan falls into quadrant I of the SWOT matrix, which represents a strong and opportunistic position. This suggests that the bank possesses significant internal strengths and is well-positioned to capitalize on external opportunities. The recommended marketing strategy is the SO (Strength-Opportunity) strategy, which involves using internal strengths such as rising gold prices and adherence to sharia principles to leverage external opportunities. This strategy includes promoting the security and religious alignment of gold savings to build customer trust, introducing the product more widely, and ensuring that pricing remains accessible. The bank’s position in quadrant I enables it to act aggressively and proactively in the market, allowing it to achieve marketing targets effectively. Overall, the study highlights the importance of aligning strengths with opportunities in order to develop an optimal marketing strategy for increasing customer interest in gold savings products at BSI KCP Marelan

Freire's Problem Posing Concept of Education: A Model for Nigeria System of Education

Education is across the globe, rightly considered a veritable tool for a holistic transformative development of both individuals and nations of the world. It is in this line that Fafunwa, an erudite scholar, described education as "the act of informing, forming and strengthening of the powers of the body and mind; a process for transmitting culture for the purpose of continuity and growth and for disseminating knowledge to ensure social control and guarantee rational direction of society" (cited in Ezeani, 2005, p. 13). A critical look at the Nigerian society with her multitude of graduate and postgraduate degree holders leaves one but to wonder whether or not education is indeed key to unlocking the transformative potentials of both individuals and the nation. The disparity and polarization between education and transformation in Nigeria serves as the precursor to our look at Paulo Freire's problem posing education system as an alternative to banking system of education and a way of unearthing the dividends of quality and holistic education in Nigeria. In this light of the above, I ask: what is meant by the banking system of education? What does Freire mean by the problem posing education system? What role would this in Nigeria and Nigerian education system play? What should be done to incorporate this system in the Nigerian system of education? Using the analytic method, this essay reveals that Freire's problem posing education system ought to be adopted in Nigeria if the impact of education must be felt in the Nigerian society. The work suggests that adequate infrastructure, personnel and funding must be provided in order to achieve this

This paper examines how service quality affects satisfaction and trust among its participants of BPJS Employment which is the employment insurance agency of the state in Indonesia. Based on SERVQUAL approach, the study decomposes service quality into its five central dimensions, which include; service tangibles, service reliability, service responsiveness, service assurance, and service empathy, and determines their ability to predict satisfaction among the participants. An explanatory quantitative study with a structured questionnaire given to 370 sampled participants was used in the study; the samples had been stratified randomly. Using regression and mediation tests, it can be found that each dimension of service quality has a significant impact on satisfaction and, among them, empathy (beta= 0.242) and responsiveness (beta= 0.226) are the most notable ones. Trust is also majorly affected by satisfaction (beta = 0.456) and the ability of satisfaction as mediator between service quality and trust is confirmed using a Sobel test (z = 5.75, p < 0.001). The results are convincing of the essential roles of emotionally intelligent and participant-service in administration in social welfare institutions whose interpersonal treatment can be more vital than structural efficiency in establishment institutional legitimacy. In addition to verifying existing theories, the present research will provide theoretical progress in the literature on management as it shows the role of satisfaction as the strategic mediator of the process of building trust, not just as the evaluative final state

The Effect of Giving D-Galactose as an Aging Inducer on Body Weight, Glucose Levels and Interleukin-6 Levels in Wistar Rats

Aging is a complex biological process characterized by a decline in physiological functions and an increased susceptibility to chronic diseases. D-galactose, although a naturally occurring monosaccharide, can induce aging when administered in high doses by increasing oxidative stress and inflammation, as indicated by elevated levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and interleukin-6 (IL-6). This study aimed to analyze the changes in body weight, blood glucose levels, and IL-6 levels in Wistar rats following D-galactose administration, with the goal of gaining insights into aging mechanisms and exploring potential therapeutic targets for age-related diseases. This was an experimental study using a pre- and post-test design, involving 20 male Wistar rats divided into two groups: a treatment group that received 150 mg/kgBW of D-galactose and a control group that received 0.9% NaCl, both for a duration of six weeks. The study was conducted at the PSPD Research Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Alauddin Makassar, from August to October 2024. Body weight, fasting blood glucose, and serum IL-6 levels were measured weekly using ELISA and a glucometer. Variables analyzed included body weight, glucose levels, and IL-6 levels, with controlled variables such as age, sex, strain, feed, water, and housing conditions. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Although changes were observed in all variables, the administration of D-galactose did not result in statistically significant differences in body weight or blood glucose levels between the treatment and control groups. These findings suggest that the aging process induced by D-galactose may involve more complex mechanisms and require further investigation to fully understand its effects and implications for human health

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) No. 1 of 2021 concerning Online New Student Admissions (PPDB) at the secondary education level at SMAN 1 Sunggal. The Permendikbud is expected to increase efficiency, transparency, and equal access in accepting new students. However, in its implementation, there are various challenges that must be faced, such as limited technological infrastructure, public understanding of the online system, and inequality of internet access in several regions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that focuses on SMAN 1 Sunggal. Data were collected through interviews with the school, direct observation, and documentation related to the implementation of online PPDB. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques to identify various obstacles and solutions that can be applied in the implementation process of online PPDB. The results of the study show that although the online PPDB system at SMAN 1 Sunggal has been running relatively well, there are several challenges, such as inequality of internet access in certain areas and lack of public understanding regarding online registration procedures. However, this system has succeeded in reducing fraudulent practices and simplifying the administration process for accepting new students. Therefore, it is necessary to improve technological facilities and training for prospective students and parents to support the successful implementation of the online PPDB system in the future. This research is expected to contribute to the development of educational policies and improve understanding of the application of technology in the educational process in Indonesia
